This little restaurant was listed on the Terrass Hotel's 'recommended' tab on its app and did not disappointed. We located it after a nice stroll through Montmartre. The ravioli and escargot for starters were excellent. I would rate the duck dish and the chicken dish as superb. This is definitely a great dinner place to relax and unwind at a slow pace. We visited this restaurant while on our mini-moon in Paris. We were staying just around the corner to Montmontre and had found this location online before our trip.It is an excellent meal with good value, great wine and friendly service. They were able to make an appetizer in to a meal for me with no meat - and it was outstanding.Highly recommend this location for a good meal.

Really friendly waitress and delicious food!!The restaurant is small, so make sure you either book or get there earlier, because it quickly filled up. Australian please don't listen to what people say about the French cooking their meat "blue." From what we have seen it's actually quite similar to in Australia, so go ahead, don't be scared - order your steak rare & it'll be perfect (not mooing). Everything here was wonderful.

Definitely lived up to the reviews, would definitely recommend, we decided to go last minute and rang half an hour before and luckily they had one table! So lucky as it's always full and you have to book well in advance. Tried snails for the first time was apprehensive at first but its was amazing from there definitely try the snails from here, and I also had the leg of lamb was really tasty, had French toast and shared creme Brûlée for dessert was so full tho struggled to eat it but was really tasty! I visited this restaurant with a special someone and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the Fois Gras and the Escargot to start. For the main we shared the lamb stew and for desert we had the Creme Brulee all accompanied by a bottle of wine recommended by the very nice and attentive waitress. My boyfriend and I visited Paris and were in the Montmartre area. We decided to try this restaurant based on the great reviews and we do not regret it. This restaurant is a small place, hole in the wall type of vibe. The waitress was SOOO incredibly kind. She even taught us some french words and chatted with us about the area. I see from the very many other positive reviews that I am not the first diner to have enjoyed Chez Toinette but I also found the food delicious and perfectly cooked. I had a veal chop "Dijon" style with a perfect mustard sauce and my girlfriend had a steak with foie gras sauce that was also delicious. They also have a nice selection of regional French wines by the glass that were all excellent with the food they serve.
