"Location General The Bella Capri restaurant is located just outside the centre. The former tenants of the Lorscher Tennis Club, Antonella and Enzo Varrina are now owners of the Italian restaurant in the 51 Hill Street, corner of Egerländerstraße. There are about 6 parking spaces in front. Several stages lead up to the restaurant area not barrier-free. The restaurant was completely redesigned. The interior radiates in the new shine. Modern style elements set the right accents. The coherent concept convinces. 70 seats are located in the attractively designed guest room. With much attention to detail, the restaurant has become what it is now. The light-filled rooms, with effect ceiling lights, are kept in bright colors. You will discover a wall with stone fading or another wall with modern equipment through large wall mirrors. The decorated interior creates a comfortable atmosphere. Bordeaux red fabric-served and white tablecloths surrounds the guest. The flower ornament consists of a white rose in a vase, covered with a large sheet held with 3 beads. The cream-colored high-rest lounge chairs invite you to stay. Staff The team is experienced, charming, organized and adapted to the individual needs. The greeting was very friendly. We had reserved and were accompanied directly at our table. The beverage order was received and served quickly. In the course of the meal, unfortunately, a new beverage order had to be remembered. However, the mandatory demand for everything was fine. Guests The restaurant was fully booked. The age of the guests from 2 – 80 years, it was all represented. In addition to the menu with pasta and pizza, the guest also finds traditional meat dishes. Every day the kitchen cries fresh fish. At noon and in the evening there is also a cheap four-course menu. As Amouse Bouche there was tomato bread with a peperoni and a small ball of Mozarella. Taste not bad. We chose a soup as starters.1 x Stracciatella Romana 4,50€,1 x Zuppa Verdure 4,90€ and 1 x Zuppa Pomodoro 4,50€. All three were served in a large plate, were very good taste, but could have been a bit hotter. At the tomato soup it would have been better to happen. As a side salad we had green salad with yogurt dressing as well as a slice of cucumbers and tomato. Nothing special but good. At the meat dishes Scaloppa al Pepe Verde 12,50€ medallions with pepper sauce everything was fine. At Bistecca Cavaliere 16,50€ Rumpsteak with pepper sauce was slightly exceeded the cooking point to medium, the peppercorns no longer sharp for my taste. The daily fish offered by the service, a Dorade 16,50€ on the plate consisted only of two small pieces of fillet that had been grilled too long (dry). The fish lay with the skin side on the vegetables. It shouldn't be that way. The vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots had what the fish had too much cooking time. What we didn't like was that with the Rumpsteak and the Dorade was a long chives across the food. At Dessert vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries 5,50€ nothing could go wrong. Conclusion: Beautiful ambience, good atmosphere and at the cheap four-course menu at noon 7,90€ and in the evening 12,90€, the price of performance is quite right."

"Location The monastery town Lorsch celebrated its 1250th anniversary this year. Precisely opposite the beautiful old, former Lorscher Fachwerk Rathaus today Kultur und Tourismusamt am Marktplatz, the traditional White Cross has now been reopened under Croatian leadership. It is one of the oldest inns of the Republic and the oldest in Lorsch. Initially mentioned in 1563 as a monastery hostel. Parking around the Markplatz is available. Ambiente The area is shared with an ice cream café. Inside is the inviting hallway. On the right you go to the ice cream café and left to the inn. Companies in the Benediktinerkeller find 60 seats and the historic spirit of the historic building. When entering the guest room (20 seats, the counter area comes immediately. All made of oak wood, also the round bench, the chairs and tables. The walls are creamy and have a ceiling bordeaux, the overgardens are gray and the window benches are decorated with orchids. The old entrance door was inserted into a glass frame and serves today as an entrance to the Karlsstube. Two steps lead right there. There are also 28 people on light brown leather-padded comfortable chairs. The large hand-painted mural on the head side reminds of the monastery and its monks from past times. The seal of Charles the size the White Cross stands on the wall as well as the complete lighting consists of white milk glass and through the punched-out cruciform the premises are illuminated and give everything an authentic atmosphere. A guest room that is looking for a tasteful interior. All tables were beautifully covered with white tablecloths light red middle ceilings, an artificial rose, a high candlestick, salt pepper shaker and two small bottles, balsamico dark and olive oil. However, what was not suitable were the thin fabric napkins. Service The welcome and table assignment was very friendly. The palsy big boy with black apron served with a relaxed benefactory, very attentive and he also asked the evict whether everything was okay. My alcohol-free beer from the bottle was always gifted after consultation with me. Eating The days when you went to the typical “Yugoslaves” have long been perfect, but yet one or the other Balkans dish had been impressed into our culinary consciousness. The typical dishes of the Balkan cuisine such as Djuvet screams or Ajvar are available here. The small but fine menu includes German carving glory and pasta, soups, salads but also very precise prepared specialties such as fish dishes. Daily dishes are placed on a large slate board in front of the guest. All appetizers come freshly attractive to the table and are a pleasure. Tastefully we are not disappointed here. The baked mushrooms with herbal butter and salad bouquet (6,90€ are relocated with fruity mango and pineapple. The mushrooms are fried and nutty in taste. After the grilled Peperonis (5,10€ you will be addicted. With the fragrant bunny, with a little chilli oil, nothing seems unpleasant, but rather emphasizes the taste. White bread is served for this – unfortunately not fresh in the day. The supplemental salads consisting of carrot strips, red and white cabbage salad, Lollo Rosso and field salad and were somewhat inexorable. The field salad covered with a little balsamico, otherwise there was no dressing. You could put it together personally. Oil and vinegar stood on the table. The swordfish freshly roasted in butter (16,00€) comes á Point and so tenderly on the table that it literally melts on the tongue. It tastes subtle and fine. As supplements there were steam potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables, consisting of half a vegetable onion, beans and a tube, came directly from the soup kitchen and was leached and faded. The Argentine Rumpsteak (18,50 € approx. 300 gr. comes as desired to the point medium to the table and has a dark crust outside. Very good in taste and super delicate meat. The pepper sauce could have been really sharper. For this, the frying potatoes with bacon strips were beautifully baked in the pan around. The skewer with pepper sauce, fries and salad (14,50€) was somewhat contradictory and so was it. The wonderfully delicate meat could not be detached from the wooden skewer. The pepper sauce also disappointed here. The pepper was barely tasted and the sauce does not support the desired taste of the whole dish. The Pommes didn't keep the set standard completely, but had gotten a little too soft. Because the portions were still to be handled, there is still enough room for a dessert. The sweet vanilla ice cream, with unfortunately only lukewarm raspberries (5.50€ and also the piping with hot cherries on vanilla ice cream and creamy vanilla sauce (6.80€ convinced quite. At the end of the house there was a very delicious golden Sljivovica. Thank you for that. Conclusion: A good quality of food and super service as well as a welcoming atmosphere with historical flair. Now it's enough, just go yourself."
