"Das essen war hervorragend. Ich würde 5 Sterne geben wenn die Pommes Frites auch selbst gemacht wären. Der Service war super. Meine Nachtischbestellung würde kurz vergessen aber es war sehr voll und letzende würde der kleine Fehler charmant zugegeben und direkt behoben. Das Ambiente finde ich gut. "I went there yesterday for lunch while visiting Flensburg. Having beautiful spring weather I was a little hesitant to sit indoors (basement) but upon entering I felt welcomed and settled down for lunch.The restaurant's decor is nothing to write to home about. But the aromas coming from the kitchen smelled right! And we were there to eat.We ordered # 37. Korma Chicken (11,50 €) and #46. Daal Tarka (9,50 €) but since it was lunch time, both dishes cost 7,00 € each. The main courses were served along side a bowl of basmati rice. I just wish salad was included. With two ciders and 2 naans our bill totalled to 24 €.Being from Pakistan and eating home cooked Pakistani food, I was really impressed with their Korma. I have never enjoyed a korma in europe before. But this one tasted really good, it actually tasted of something! Of course the best korma you always get at home. But I will definitely be ordering it again at Shalimar.The daal was just as good. The highlights for us were the chicken korma and the baked naans. They had a bite to them and complimented the curries.The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy and looking around the guests all seemed to be complimenting their food.One thing I have to add, when you tell them how you want your food to be spiced, they actually listen. We asked ours to be hot and they were spiced hot. The waiter asked if I wanted extra green chillies and before I knew it, they were served along side. Something I wish other restaurants would actually do! Freshly finely chopped ginger (Adrak) gave Shalimar extra points in my book! Will we be returning? YES! - Remember, they don't take credit cards - cash only."

"During our stay at the Hotel Hafen Flensburg we were able to select three courses each evening at the Columbus Restaurant from various anchor-marked dishes. The dishes were very varied and we ate very delicious every evening! Since there was very little vegetarian choice, my wife was suggested and served on request every evening. "good a visit worth a busy little restaurant from a small allyway. the restaurant was in the location, us with some “old English menus” some dishes were no longer available, but that was very helpful. our waitress was very helpful and attentive. we had two...Tapas starters to share; with large nets of portions we really fought this off. no room for dessert or coffee. with a beautiful bottle red wine came our bill to 76E without drinking money. very reasonable and worth a visit"

Wenn man Vergleiche mit wirklich gutem asiatischen Essen hat, kann man das nicht akzeptieren. Ich ließ es zurückgehen, und mir wurde das Gericht auch nicht berechnet. "Now it's almost no longer true that we were in the Croque Paris in Flensburg, on 30. March 2016. But from the start. My darling told me she had just read something and therefore appetite for a big one. Then I answered that she knew that I neither drink cognac nor other brandy nor drink warm. She looked amazing and laughed, she said CROQUE, that's what to eat... How would I know, she already knew. We'll find the store and enter it, all empty. We hardly sit a young woman with the card and order a drink first. The selection of the croque took a little longer. I had to read through the map first, so get an overview. We were able to partly observe in the kitchen and her and the compilation of the croque. It went fast and clean. Only from time to time was a telephone order made and the orders of the two drivers were delayed our own food supply. But we didn't really find it bad, it was an end to hunger. We have ordered all others (or another) and we have promised mutual costs. Both were deliciously fresh, totally delicious and large, so there was a small piece for the other. Marriage issues arise: A croque is the French variant of the sandwich, i.e. a covered baguette. Croque comes from the French Croquer crack, crack, bites, bites... We were tired and satisfied and therefore I would like to recommend the store here. Before I forget, I have to correct myself, but it must be here: it was CROQUEWETTER and what one!"

Wir mussten bisher noch nie seeeeehr lange auf unser Essen warten und zudem musss man auch drauf schauen, wie voll es da zu bestimmten Zeiten ist. Dann kann es schon mal sein, dass man evtl. mal einen Augenblick länger wartet aber im Großen und Ganzen hält sich das wirklich im Rahmen. Das Restaurant existiert schon viele viele Jahre und ist immer gut besucht, was wohl kaum so wäre, wenn das Essen nicht ok ist. Für uns ist und bleibt es unser Stammgrieche in Flensburg."

"Da jeg gik ind på Kreta fangede duften af Græsk mad mig straks. Selv om det ikke ligner en Græsk restaurant indenfor, men nærmere et gammelt værtshus, var jeg ikke i tvivl. Jeg fik hurtigt anvist en plads, som var rigtig hyggelig, spurgt til drikkevarer, og hurtigt forsynet med disse.Jeg bestilte brød med tzatziki til starter, det kom hurtigt. Brødet var en smule sejt (lignede fabriksproducet baguette, skåret i skiver), men tzatzikien var rigtig frisk, og smagte godt. Der manglede lige en smugle hvidløg, men pyt.Til hovedret fik jeg Kreta Platten (når man nu var på "Kreta"), og der var simpelthen alt i grillede proteiner. Det var dog grillet en smule tørt, men krydret korrekt, og havde den rigtige, græske smag. Pommes frites var fine sprøde, tzatzikien igen god, og risene perfekt tilberedte. Jeg fik en skål salat til, der nærmest var noget a'la Tysk kål ret, smagte den, men sprang over resten.Prisen taget i betragtning, og servicen oveni, var det alt i alt en rigtig god aftensmad, og jeg kommer da igen en anden gang."
