"like every month I am back in januar for a day in Offenbach. the colleagues have already gone to eat and the poor blue bear has to go to eat alone because of the longer-lasting telephone conference. a small one I have actually chosen is laborious and I therefore go to the alternative that forms in my head, the morleos directly at the wildhelmsplatz. in the summer we were more often with the colleagues here, then there are tables free and they can watch the market ride while eating as well as the imposing testosterone-surprising licenses that hunt their with plastic wings in circle around the place. in winter you have to enjoy a small, L-shaped space that is very fast full. in the front part, due to the large windows it is quite bright, in the rear area due to the möblierung in dark wood, the light is quite very damped. in itself it would be very cozy if the tables were not so tight that one is only possible if the side tables were pressed somewhat next to each other. private sphere is a strange word here. to not read the posts on the hand of the table, they must deliberately look away. when I enter the locality, I will be greeted immediately. to my question “for a person?” is assigned to me a table in the back area and the side tables are moved to the side that I can put. the card is quickly brought, after a short time the order is recorded and also otherwise the man in the service always acts exactly and friendly. for an evening visit I would like to have a little more time and time at the hospitable, for a quick lunch that was good. the card is bistrotypically colored with light affection to the medium sea. there are suppen, salads, pasta, burger and other meat dishes such as chicken grill, grill meat and also a few fish dishes. In addition, there is a map that offers, among other things, my current choice – grilled pork fillet with green pepper sauce, speck beans and potato corners (11,90 €). to align the map there is optionally a side salad or a day soup included. I chose the mushroom cream soup offered today. for drinking I ordered a cola (0.2l 2.50 € . cola, suppe, a basket with broth and a small bowl with a curry cream were then also quickly reused. the broth was fresh, with a spicy crust, the cream (there is always here is quite good cost, but could be a bit spicy for me personally. the champignon cream soup was visually quite the exact opposite of what I actually painted out. I had expected a typical smooth suppe on the basis of the broth that were given a few champignons and possibly a fungal aroma. I have received a suppe of praised champignons, petersilie and saw that, although more like a jungle test, tasteful, but absolutely convinced. good, aromatic champignon taste. I've never eaten a mushroom cream soup. the grilled pork fillet does not allow long to wait in the connection. the three pieces were rather fried than grilled, but that was really good. outside with bright crust, but inside juicy and with light pink shimmer. the green pepper sauce was completely in order, certainly not completely without aids, but more than just ok prepared. there were 4 large, baked (non-fried potato sacks and 2 bundles of spekbären. the latter were a bit dry and overwhelmed (the growth of speculation was probably not taken into account and therefore fell a bit against the rest. which was also paid quickly. a document is not automatically available, but the price is read from the tamagotchi of the waiter. sodexo restaurant vouchers are easily accepted. Rating: ambiente: actually quite beautiful, only unfortunately the tables are so tight that they also have to drive up the next table. that can be quite annoying if they only want to eat a suppee 3 stars service: quiet fast service, there is a small personal note, but for a midday matching 4 stars eating: amazingly good. the so not expected suppe was even very good 4 stars cleanliness: what I could see was absolutely in order. a few crumbs on the table are the only point of criticism. the sanitary facilities were not visited. 4 stars price-performance ratio: in the round there is one or other local, which offers the lunch table also cheaper, but with the suppe or optionally the salat I think the price very decent. the beverage prices are, however, rather at the upper edge. 4 stars. Conclusion: eating fits, the service is also in order, while getting tired (that was what I had in mind from pastness. "Echt. Gut. Mit diesen 2 Worten ist das Gasthaus am Wilhelmsplatz perfekt beschrieben.Der Wirt, Stefan Klemisch, ist Anhänger der Slow Food Küchenphilosphie und setzt sie in seinem urigen Gasthaus am Marktplatz von Offenbach konsequent um. Auf einer großen Tafel erklärt er seinen Gästen von welchen regionalen Erzeugern die Qualitätsprodukte stammen, die in seiner Küche frisch und aromatisch zubereitet werden. Damit unterscheidet sich das Gasthaus zum Stern von den zahlreichen Restaurants rund um den Wochenmarkt am Wilhelmsplatz. Der aus München stammende Wirt ist ein leidenschaftlicher Vertreter guter unverfälschter Regionalküche, die er glaubhaft und selbstbewußt präsentiert ein echter freundlicher Typ. Zum Bembel Apfelwein wurde uns als Amuse Geule ein würziges Lachstatar serviert. Die hausgemachte Thai Kokossuppe und der milde junge Handkäs' mit Mango und bunten Tomaten waren überraschend aromatisch und kreativ zubereitete Vorspeisen. Das Oberräder Schnitzel (wahlweise vom Schwein oder Kalb) mit hausgemachter grüner Soße hatte eine üppige Portionsgröße. Die Variante vom Schwein war wunderbar zart und saftig wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gutes Schweinefleisch gegessen. Auch der Odenwälder Schweinebraten mit Dunkelbiersoße überzeugte durch Fleischqualität und Geschmack ebenso wie die marktfrische Gemüsebeilage, deren Bezeichnung wohl hier 100%ig zutrifft. Für uns war der Abstecher von Frankfurt nach Offenbach ein kulinarischer Volltreffer. Zumal hat sich die alte Erfahrung, daß eine Slow Food Empfehlung sich für uns immer als goldrichtig erweist, erneut bestätigt. Um eine lange kulinarische Erfahrung kurz zu machen: echt.gut."

"The small Vietnam Thai restaurant Orchidee is located at the entrance of the pedestrian zone in the Großer Marktstraße (parallel to Frankfurter Straße, Offenbacher Zeil . It has a small main room with about 12 tables and an even smaller, unreinforced outdoor area with about 16 seats. The orchid offers comparatively authentically flavored dishes at restaurant level in a better snack ambience and at delivery service prices. You can also supply the food by phone. "Habe das rest. Seit erröffnung mehrmals besucht. Und war immer zufrieden in letzter zeit hat sich vieles geädert. Suppe fast kein fisch als zuttat und man merkt dass nur alter fisch dafür verw6endet wird. Als allergiker habe ich mein Gericht ohne sossen PUR gegrillt bestellt und trotzdem voller knoblauch bekommen habe es probiert und zurückgegeben. Wurde gefragt ob ich es noch essen möchte oder ein anderes ohne knobi will. Habe die wahl angenommen und als entschlundingung auch eine etwas deutlich grössere portion bekommen... Seit 30 jahren in der gastro habe folgendes nie als vorfall gehabt...... Mit der rechnung bekamm ich ein Schlag .... Ich wurde für das erste auch berechnet und ein junger mann der sich als chef ausgiebt beschuldigte mich dass ich es extra so insziniert habe dass ich nur 1 mal bezahle obwohl det teller ganz zurück genommen wurde. Wenn ich es wüsste würde ich das gericht mittnehmen und meiner schwester zum essen bringen. Was mir auch nicht angeboten wurde. Nicht mal bei der bezahlung.... Habe ein sattes tringeld in vergleich zur rechnung die ich voll bezahlt habe allen mitarbeiter die voll meiner meinung waren und habe mich verbschiedet für immer...... Würde aber trotzdem mal den richtigen chef treffen. Mittarbeiter mit schlechten deutschkenntnisse haben sich haben sich entschuldigt und das was falsch verstanden wurde aber der Chef für mich der keiner ist hat sich nur so eingegeben deutete darauf hin dass ich zwei mal was bestellt habe und dafür ich auch zahlen müsste es geht nicht ums Geld es geht nur ums Prinzip."
