"Siamo stati al cucinaio per pranzo. Abbiamo mangiato delle ottime tigelle, mozzarella di bufala e burrata accompagnate da un eccellente prosciutto di Parma. Non c´é che dire tutti i prodotti sono di ottima qualità e dimostrano competenza e un´accurata selezione. Purtroppo non abbiamo assaggiato il vino perché di tre che eravamo mia moglie era incinta, io dovevo guidare ed il nostro amico che ci accompagnava é praticamente astemio, ma ci rifaremo presto perché ci torneremo di sicuro. Ciliegina sulla torta il servizio é ottimo. I padroni sono una coppia molto gentile e siamo rimasti quasi un´ora a chiacchierare piacevolmente con loro."

"appetizer: "wet appetizer board" was shown as: 4 discs each by zucchini and aubergine not even grilled yet, but somehow made warm. a klacks yogurt (unworn from the beaker) and half tomate on top of it).Main course: rice was completely unworn and mushy, the lamb was rather a hammel. the dough of the thirsty was raw and not edible and the garlic sauce was not to be described as such. Pity, because the wet is super and 1.5 years ago that was different.Also the other guests did not look really happy. conclusion: we are not coming back."

"The restaurant of the Landhotel Klingerhof two miles away, our base, was closed and the receptionist recommended the Old Church in nearby Haibach, a pretty village in the valley below. It was almost full, and that at on a Sunday evening a good...sign! The place looked quite authentic, an impression re-inforced by the realisation that many locals were eating there. A friendly young waitress brought us a quite extensive menu in German only and we opted for a carafe of what we were told was a dry white housewine at a moderate price whilst we perused it. Neither of us found the wine dry and it was exchanged for another one without fuss, this time dry. I opted for the onion soup. My wife wanted a small tuna salad as a starter and sensibly suggested we should order our main course later, having seen the size of portions on other tables. My steaming soup arrived first, served in a big bowl; just as well it was so hot that I had to wait because it took some time for her salad to arrive. A starter salad? It was enormous, very fresh and delicious! Outgoing diners had to pass our table and we noticed that nearly all had a ‘doggy bag’ – it seemed to be taken for granted that most would be defeated by the amount of food and cardboard boxes to take uneaten food home were provided as if it was a matter of course. Our first course would have been enough but I felt a bit guilty, ordered some more wine, then agreed with my wife that we would order a Wiener Schnitzel (her choice) to be shared between us. A large plate with two schnitzels, French fries and salad arrived. We just could not do the contents justice (the food tasted fine and managed to eat just about a quarter between us. I had to explain to the waitress that there was nothing wrong with the food – on the contrary – and she immediately asked if we wanted a box to take the rest with us, an offer we declined. For two sizable first courses, basket of bread, a gigantic main course and ¾ litres of a very acceptable house wine the bill came to Euros!...This was quantity paired with quality at a give-away price!"

"The waiter was very warm and friendly and recommended the Mantu dish, which turned out tender and delicious, as were all the other entrees. The variety appetizer was amazing (I would personally recommend the avocado cream wedges) and the Afghan dessert (pistachio and cardamom pudding) was like nothing I have ever tried before and was a nice, light ending to the meal. Highly recommend it!"

"enthusiastic, I came back, we had a table reserved for a large group on Saturday, the service was excellent, dedicated, fast, competent, super friendly. I have rarely experienced such a great service. such a worker wishes every restaurant. eating was fantastic with each of us and the price was very reasonable. the steaks were as ordered, the baguette exceptionally good and some extra desires were offered and served immediately, the art of the craft is to taste especially in the self-made ice creams. if you want to spend a beautiful ambiente and a beautiful evening with excellent eating, they are in the weinstube kitz right!"

"until the al deny my ancestral place for the lunch break at an insert in off! to reach foot, top service, super eating, good wee, delicious espresso and fair prices. I think there is the best supplement salad that you can order in a pizzeria, and the homemade nudes are really great. the lasagne excellent. the pizzas are solid and well documented. one of the few places that provide unnecessary brot to eat, what for me as spat, and the small mini rolls of the pizza teig are grandios. I like the restaurant and the personal is tippi toppi!"

"a Friday evening led us the first time in this restaurant that is not yet very long.After reading the previous reviews we were initially somewhat skeptical, because the prices and the small portions were cumbersome. therefore my partner and I first ordered the mixed starter plate. this also contained not as in the previous reviews were complained of 3 parts of everything but 4 of all, so that he was good to share but also has already made very good satt. the main foods (tinted fish with pepper-bone sauce and mixed vegetables for about 15 euro, bark meat with green curry) were very tasty, authentic flavored and more than sufficient. "Whoever knows the boss knows that he is absolutely authentic and remains true. We were also able to experience this during a visit to the Schönthal Weinstuben and, after a perfect meal, we are convinced that this time we do not let years go to the country again to visit it in its site. He and his wife form a perfect team that is supported by one or other help. We had a tuna steak which, like the mayor steak, was put to the point, slightly seasoned to enjoy the aroma of meat and fish (whoever likes more can still season with salt and pepper) and was accompanied by a delicious grilled vegetables and grill potatoes, which also taste after potatoes. "A funky little place with both indoor and outdoor seating (great for people watching). The menu changes regularly so there are always new options to try. The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared. The proprietors are great people and the service is always friendly. You are not waited on, but rather pick out/order your food and drinks yourself which has the advantage of getting your food quicker. During the lunch hour, it gets quite busy and the tables fill up fast.My wife, who is a Web Designer, often meets with her clients here and has become a regular."

"Wir haben die Gaststätte zum Österreicher Denkmal im April 2015 besucht und waren über den Schlemmerblock darauf aufmerksam geworden. Von außen wirkt die Gaststätte eher unscheinbar und erinnert eher an eine Eckkneipe, sodass wir andernfalls vermutlich gar nicht hinein gegangen wären. Drinnen wurden wir dann aber positiv überrascht: Bestellt hatten wir verschiedene Steaks und einen Grillspieß. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gebraten und auch die Beilagen waren sehr gut. Da auch die Bedienung sehr freundlich war gibt es fünf Sterne für das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis."
