Lignano Sabbiadoro Lignano Sabbiadoro

"We spontaneously stopped here for 3 days on the return journey at the Hotel Oasi. The hotel is managed with three stars and we were really pleasantly surprised here. It is a pure family business, where practically juniors, seniors and siblings work. From the check-in everything went smoothly, we found all the employees to be extremely courteous and very nice. We were always asked if we needed anything and if everything was fine. A very attentive service. We can definitely recommend this hotel. It's great for families with kids, as there's a small pool and jacuzzi that can be used late at night. As a family with two children, we had the family room on the top floor (elevator available), from here you also had a wide view from the balcony. The amenities in the room were fine, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean with plenty of towels, large and small, for our stay. The room was always cleaned up regularly. TV, minibar, air conditioning everything worked. There is also a pizzeria or restaurant in the hotel and it was very busy. The breakfast buffet was also completely sufficient, the hot drinks were available as desired, also several times. Bread, sausage, cheese, eggs, various jams, water, juices and sweet treats complete the offer. We found it really tasty. The beach can be reached directly through the pine forest opposite, in the beach office no. 3 there are sunbeds and umbrellas reserved for the guests of the hotel if you have booked directly with the hotel. A really great service. We also had a parking space in the inner courtyard, it is a bit difficult and very narrow to drive there, but it's still okay, otherwise there are also parking spaces on the street. We can only recommend the hotel, it is very centrally located in Pineta right near the shopping street, there are many shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Rooms: Rooms were OK, Italian standard, were always tidy and clean. Nearby activities: Near the shopping street in Pineta Walkability: The beach is just a stone's throw away, many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Shopping market also nearby. Food drinks: Hotel with breakfast and attached pizzeria."

"I decide to visit the XX Sand Nativity scene in Lignano Sabbiadoro on the occasion of the Immaculate Conception weekend. Yes... but where to have lunch? I examine the catering opportunities offered in the area. There is an option that is right for you: the Pancor restaurant-pub. So I book the day before from TheFork app. After visiting the splendid and magnificent sculptures of savalon d 'aur (golden sand in Friulian) I leave the tent set up in the office area Beach 5 and I head towards the club. It is not very far away and is located in the central Via Udine at number 44. I approach the entrance and realize that it is a typical summer tourist resort environment with a room that is not very large and an outdoor area with generous space but not protected or covered, therefore not suitable for welcoming onlookers during the autumn and winter seasons. I notice that the inside is fully booked and some daring customers have even taken a seat at the tables outside. I don 't worry too much because I had booked. Instead I should have... my reservation had not been received. Cause: the owner was not on site and had the device with the app with him. I smile... The only free table was an emergency arrangement and was in a terrible position: half a meter from the entrance to the restaurant where there was a sliding door that was continually opened and (not always) closed by customers and staff. Maybe that 's why that place hadn 't been filled. Passage of people aside, cold air currents filtered in from the outside every time there was some entrance or exit. I reluctantly accept and sit down . I order the food and, while I wait for the courses, between one wave and another, I realize that all the members of the dining room staff and the kitchen brigade have in common somatic traits typical of the Indian ethnic group. Their behavior is also characteristic of that people: very kind, always smiling, they struggle with the local language. The first course takes almost 45 minutes to arrive: spaghetti with seafood. The presentation isn 't the best: it seems poorly cared for. Will it be at least good? I would say that I wasn 't even satisfied with the taste and the ingredients. The pasta itself was not very tasty and, as far as I 'm concerned, was cooked for a little too long. Ingredients qualitatively not up to par: very small tasteless clams, ditto mussels. Calamari almost inedible: rubbery texture that 's not for me. Too much tomato sauce, which covered all the other flavours, plus it had a bit of a hint of acidity too marked. I wouldn 't take this dish again: in my opinion an unhappy experience... Out of intellectual honesty, I believe it is important to acknowledge more than positive comments and praise regarding first courses of pasta that came from other tables. I think, in Roman dialect: learn how to eat . Latin also helps me, more moderately: de gustibus ... The second course chosen is a chicken salad. Lights and shadows, chiaroscuro as in a painting by Michelangelo Merisi, better known as Caravaggio. Even in this case the flow rate was not very good. The ingredients (olives, capers, mozzarella) seemed cheap. However the salad, carrots and tomatoes were very fresh. The chicken was a story in itself. It was covered in a very crunchy breading, with an important consistency and a bright orange colour: very good frying, I would dare say perfect, which fully met my tastes. The chicken was also very well seasoned and, above all, very juicy. It is a real delicacy: treated expertly and with skill. One of the best breaded chickens I can remember. This dish raised the level of satisfaction a little. Overall, for this experience, rather than as a restaurant I would suggest considering the place as a sandwich shop-brewery. At the end of lunch there was time to sip a limoncello, offered on the house. Pancor: like çi like ça..."
