"we start with the positive: the location is really very nice - the restaurant has a large outdoor area directly at the lahn source (which is by the way not much to see). there is a small playground for children - which was a great attraction for us, as we were on the move with our daughter. other children were also present, which ensured that we could eat dinner without having to entertain our daughters who spent their time with the other children on the playground. there was also a baptism hate, which was very good for the children. our waitress was friendly, helpful and accommodating despite the hot weather. we order two main dishes (a carving as well as a pork steak) and some kartoffel buffer. eating came fast and looked pretty decent. my first bite carving was unsatisfied. Sure, it has tasted well, but the meat was very, very tough – not to the point where it was no longer edible, but it was certainly much less than ideal. Obviously, the chef of cuisine is not familiar with the right cooking techniques for pork and apparently has approached it like bark. for me it was very disappointing. my spouse did not get better - his pork was also very tough again a sign that the cook is not too familiar with the right techniques to cook pork. both dishes were delivered with a sauce - my was a mushroom sauce and that of my wife with a pepper cream sauce. Despite the use of fresh mushrooms in my sauce, I did not stop wondering whether the base was at least from a dose or worse, made from a powder mixture. the same was true for the pfeffer cream sauce. it is difficult to deceive a man - and I don't think my appreciation of the sauces is next. I've done absolutely sorry for the kartoffel buffer. there were frozen, prepared potato roasted meats that can be found in any food business. To be honest, I can get such a mix in every bite - I want or do not expect it in a restaurant. Here I expect pancakes that have actually been made before site – and no mass production in a large factory. Overall, I would come back for nothing but a cold refreshment. maybe some cake and coffee - but certainly not dinner."
