Had an impromptu stop on our way through for food. Was expecting pub food but was overjoyed that it was Asian. Had samosas which weren’t those awful filo pastry ones but proper pastry! Wish we could of stayed for a bigger meal. Really friendly hosts

I was very let down by the condition of the restroom facilities at this restaurant. I was grateful to have our own toilets with us, but there was no place to properly dispose of waste. The site could be a great location if the facilities were renovated and updated.

Avoid the pub at all costs, rude staff and terrible food. And I don't have high expectations at all, would only write a negative review If something was exceptionally badEdit: Also appears owner is a liar and completely makes things up when someone criticises how poor this establishment is. It is laughable really. The owner has no idea who I am and is making accusations like that! Bare that in mind when reading the rest of their responses to negative reviews!

The hospitality at this restaurant is top-notch. We stayed in our caravan for two nights and although there were showers and toilets available, we didn't need to use them as we had our own facilities. Shanty and her son were extremely gracious, and the bar was well-stocked with reasonably priced drinks. Shanty even treated us to a few complimentary meals, which were absolutely delicious. Other patrons also raved about the food, and I have to agree that it smelled amazing. I look forward to returning and expressing my gratitude once again.

Avoid this place at all costs. It is dirty and no longer operating as a pub, restaurant, or campsite. We booked a weekend getaway through Groupon and upon arrival, we could tell from the outside that it was not a place we wanted to stay. Despite already paying for our stay and being packed for the weekend, we decided to check it out. We eventually found someone who told us that the place had shut down months ago. We were relieved that we didn't have to stay, as it would have been a waste of a two-hour drive there and back. Please be cautious, as it seems that Groupon still has this place listed on their site.
