DO NOT waste your time here. The food at non- Michelin restaurants are way better than this. 1) pan fried scallop- completely under cooked. it's cold. enough said. 2) second course was fish and pasta. fish was completely overcooked. pasta was literally rubber hard. 3)...desert. nothing spectacular. I can't even recall what it is. In summary? I wouldn't rate it good even as any restaurant let alone a supposed Michelin star restaurant. Don't waste your time.

in contrast to many reviewers here we did not go the Monday night tasting. we have a reservation for a Wednesday night and had the menu a la carte. it was fantastic. the service was impeccable, the intention was unbelievable (they can see the...entirety of würzburg under the sun in all its gloriousness), and eating, indescribable. it's a must. everything from broth to the meal to the wine pairing, which was decided by the waiter, was fantastic. I can only imagine how the tasting menu must be experience. this is a must while they are in wortzburg.

although the location of this michelin restaurant is amazing with view of the city, the quality is sub par. we went on Monday night, that is the menu easy monday when the to be trained prepare the meal. we expected to see the Michelin cook,...but really: the dishes were very easy as main course, there was a piece of hard plastic in our salat apologising, safe and ok dessert looked well lubricated well. the price was good 59 € for three courses wein, but we ordered champagner as aperitif, and took the suggestion of the waiter: krug. this was calculated at 29 € per glass! we were in 3 star restaurants where they didn't dare to charge such a ridiculous price. after we protested, they changed th...

This is a great restaurant and we enjoyed the food selection as well as the wine list. The ladder was not terribly extensive but there were a great selection of high-end producers as well as vintages. The only comment that I would probably at here...is that there were quite a large number of small flies over dining there. And while I know that is just some degree par for the course many towns in Germany. That's something that is your should be aware of. On the night we went there was a limited menu, but I thought the execution and the food was very strong as well as the ingredients. The five course tasting dinner that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed at Reisers more than held its own with many of the top restaurants I have eaten at in New York City. We were given a long list of ingredients and were asked to...eliminate any we did not like— the chef took over from there and put together a fabulous and balanced 5 course meal. We had tuna, duck, ravioli, steak and a surprise desert. The wine pairings which included several great local Silvaner and Reisling whites (and one surprise) were exceptional and well-suited to each of the courses. The restaurants view is amazing. The decoration was not inviting, we got the feeling it should be modern, minimalistic, but it didn 't match our idea of a Michelin star restaurant. Unfortunately, it just didn’t feel like a Michelin star restaurant. We did the 5 course menu and the only course that really stood out to me was the dessert. It was a whipped almost Oreo cookie cream mousse covered in a hard white chocolate. It...was excellent! In one course the langostino and the octopus both tasted lake they were defrosted seafood . I really don’t think a Michelin restaurant should ever offer frozen seafood. They should just offer what is absolutely fresh, local or in season.
