"Ich war schon mehrfach dort essen und es schmeckt gut, aber nicht sensationell, wie hier beschrieben. Alle sind sehr freundlich und das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet. Was außergewöhnlich ist, dass Schnitzel paniert und in einer Pfanne zubereitet werden. Bei anderen Imbiss werden sie doch nur schnell in die Friteuse geworfen. Also insgesamt wirklich empfehlenswert. Nur das Personal ist etwas langsam und man muss oft länger warten. Größeren Ansturm ist man überhaupt nicht gewachsen."

"Reserved for Sunday mornings and from the original 3 persons, only one person was insured. Still getting a great place, was quickly served and the breakfast was very delicious (except for the normal bread, which quickly tasted old baked). What I don't love for the first time is the kindness of the service staff. That's different from other places. And this kindness is absolutely part of my sense of well-being. And even if it was very full on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. (without reservation there was no room for more than 2 people) and thus the noise level was in the middle level, I felt very comfortable."

"Tatsächlich bestelle ich hier wesentlich öfter als das ich hier fest einkehre. Der Laden ist klein und schlauchig mit trotzdem erstaunlich vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Einrichtung würde ich als recht rustikal aber dennoch einladend beschreiben. Nichts außergewöhnliches.Das Suhsi und auch die Gerichte, die ich bis jetzt gegessen habe, sind sehr gut, vom Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis her Top! Leider muss man seine Bestellung bei der entgegennahme immer wieder selber aufmerksam checken, da oft Gerichte vergessen oder verwechselt werden. Jedoch macht der Geschmack es am Ende immer wieder wett. Ärgerlich ist es natürlich nur, wenn erst zu Hause auffällt, dass ein bestelltes Gericht fehlt.Dennoch bestelle ich hier gerne und oft und kann den Laden empfehlen."

"We stayed at the restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday with 2 persons at 7 p.m. The entrance of the restaurant is next to the entrance of Pizzeria. We were kindly welcomed by the service. Since at this time only 1 table was occupied, we had free hand when choosing the table. We ordered Farfalle al Salmone and Spaghetti aglio e olio. Both dishes were freshly prepared and served hot. They were very tasty. The Lambrusco, which we had ordered for dinner, was also very good. The price performance ratio was o.k. Der Burger ist mit Salatgurke und Cocktailsauce belegt. Vielleicht dem Konzept entsprechend. Uns schmeckt es aber nicht. Der Schinken schmeckt wie aus der Packung beim Discounter. Wer schon mal in Spanien frisch aufgeschnittenen Pata negra Schinken gegessen hat weiß, warum spanischer Schinken als der beste gilt. Die probierten Tapas waren auch belanglos. Aufgrund der gemäßigten Preise vielleicht ok, um gutes Essen zu essen aber absolut nicht empfehlenswert."

Die Brauerei zum Stefanus wurde hier gemischt bewertet - also hin ein eigenes Bild machen.Kurz telefonisch einen Tisch reserviert und dabei schon voller Vorfreude - die Hintergrundgeräusche deuteten auf ein gut besetztes Brauhaus. Wir würden nett empfangen und haben ein Platz in hinteren Bereich erhalten. Die beiden Edelstahlbraukessel schmücken den Innenraum...also direkt ein Dunkels - für meine Frau ne Schorle.. ich mag selbstgebrautes und das Bier war echt lecker...Ab zur Karte - gegrilltes Eisbein, Sauerkraut, Kartoffelstampf - mein Wahl / Schweinefilet mit Speckumantelung, Spätzle hausgemacht mit lecker Sauce - die Wahl meiner Frau. Beides echt lecker - mächtige Portionen- begleitet von einen weiteren "Hellen" war es ein gelungener Abend! Empfehlung!Ambiente- einfach rustikal!"

"Zu Flachs Hof kommt niemand per Zufall, um dort zu speisen braucht es ebenso eine Empfehlung wie eine genaue Wegbeschreibung und etwas Geduld bei der Suche. Der Hof liegt unspektakulär in den Feldern südwestlich von Rheindalen und wirkt eher nüchtern. Das gilt auch für den Innenausbau der alten Scheune, die nun das Restaurant beherbergt. Schön ist der überdachte Innenhof, im Winter nur etwas für die Raucher, im Sommer sicherlich auch ein schöner Platz um geschützt im Freien zu sitzen.Der Service ist freundlich, aber ein wenig ländlich-altbacken. Man versucht sich im Stil besserer Restaurants (Erläuterung der Speisenfolge beim Menu, Ankündigung der einzelnen Gänge), aber es wirkt etwas bemüht.Das wirklich gute an Flachs Hof ist das Essen: Gehobene deutsche Küche mit Crossover-Elementen, aber ohne allzu viel Experimentierfreude. Alle von uns bestellten Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Desserts schmeckten köstlich, waren ausreichend portioniert und liebevoll angerichtet. Da gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen! Jeden Mittwoch wird zudem ein "Überraschungsmenu" angeboten, man weiß also bei der Bestellung nicht, was die insgesamt fünf Gänge (zu sehr erschwinglichen 26,90 €) enthalten. Aber wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, die in diesem Fall winterliche Menufolge war gut komponiert und sehr schmackhaft.Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis muss man (vor dem Hintergrund der gebotenen Speisenqualität) als günstig bezeichnen, anderswo kostet Küche auf demselben Niveau deutlich mehr.Insgesamt somit ein Grund, Flachs Hof weiter zu empfehlen und auch selbst sicherlich wiederzukommen."

Das Tapaz-System sorgt für gute und leckere Abwechslung und auch die Burger sind der Hit. Regelmäßig zu den Wochenenden gibt es Veranstaltungen, die für jeden erwas zu bieten haben, der/die keine Lust auf das Mainstream-BumBum der Altstadt haben.
