"During our visit, we were fortunate to have a waiter named Wendy, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Her attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel welcomed, and she was particularly helpful to one of our group members who spoke Chinese. Wendy's ability to bridge the language gap and provide excellent service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. As for dessert, I found the mango dish to be just okay. While it was enjoyable, it didn’t quite match the excellence of the dim sums. Nevertheless, it offered a refreshing finish to the meal. Overall, Golden Chinese in Harrow is a restaurant that truly excels with its outstanding dim sums and the remarkable talents of its chef. Wendy's exceptional service further enhanced our dining experience. If you’re a fan of flavorful dim sums, this restaurant should definitely be on your list of places to try."

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. The food is fantastic, and there's a wonderful selection of dishes. The lobster noodles are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place.

The dim sum here is top class on the weekends. Always super fresh and better than most places in central London due not being crazy busy all the time so the dim sum chefs can really make outstanding dim sum! Go here for dim sum you won't be disappointed!

I ordered a whole duck and it wasn't very good. The skin was detached from the meat, and some parts of the duck looked odd, almost like they were patched together. Last week, I had a half duck and it was delicious, so I decided to take the train here again today, spending half an hour on the journey. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed.

Nice place but most of the staff members are NOT friendly. They make you feel like you made the wrong decision coming in the moment you enter. No smiles, no welcoming words. Blank stares and a few LONG awkward minutes as you are made to assume someone will help you with the seating. Food is good, portion sizes are good but I'm not going back if I can help it. It is a busy restaurant and that's good but it's nice to be welcomed, you know. Visualizza piatti

The manager managed to accommodate us on a busy Saturday night, even though there were only a few tables available. As always, the food and service were fantastic, and my childhood favorite, crispy noodles with chicken, was just perfect. To my surprise, it wasn’t overly expensive either. They offer all the classic Cantonese dishes while also catering to those who may not be familiar with some of the flavors. The restaurant and restrooms could use a bit of refreshing, but I still love coming here.

The food was delicious, and the service was decent. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. We began our meal with the pork dumplings, which were tasty, and the accompanying sauce was outstanding. However, it was a bit disappointing when the waiter took away the plate without checking if we had finished. The shrimp rolls, which were deep-fried, were incredible. The mixed meat crispy fried noodles were fantastic, and the mixed seafood and chicken fried rice was great too. We appreciated the flavorful amount of MSG in the dishes. Overall, we were very satisfied with the bill, which came to about £49. It's a wonderful place, and we really enjoyed it. The warm sake we had was also very nice!

I am a regular here for lunch, that dim sum menu is something special. We got the prawn and chive dumplings, prawn dumplings, prawn cheung fun, sesame prawn toast (my favourite), soft shell crab, salt and pepper fried green beans and squid in black bean sauce. The squid wasn’t great as it was too chewy but everyone else was on point and delicious. Make sure to ask for a bowl to mix some soy sauce and chilli oil in! Our total bill was £60 which is reasonable. Came back for dinner, unfortunately they don’t do many dumplings for dinner and one of the servers isn’t the nicest. We got the szichaun prawns which were good but the portion of prawns was quite low. I have amended my rating to 4 stars. Visualizza piatti

Unbelievable how the standards have dropped at Royal China. Once a bustling restaurant was was all but empty yesterday and I can only think it's the quality of the food. This restaurant uses the cheapest ingredients, and bulks up food with cheap ingredients. We ordered stir fried foods and it mostly contained chunky onions. Aubergine peels were mixed with few pieces of aubergine, cucumber for the duck came as peels because the cucumber flesh was used to make some other dish. It seems the chef was given a challenge to make as many dishes from 1 vegetable as possible. The lettuce for lettuce wrap was limp and old. Even cheap Chinese buffet restaurants serve better quality of food than Royal Ch...

Regrettably, neither our dog nor we could finish the beef Ho-Fun noodles. The beef was overcooked, and the dish contained large clumps of white flat noodles that were not properly mixed. One clump took up almost half of the container, which should have been easily noticed and corrected by the chef. With dishes priced between £12 and £15 each, Royal China charges a premium compared to other Chinese takeaways in our area. Given the declining standards and reduced portion sizes, I'm confident that tastier and more reasonably priced options are available elsewhere. It’s disappointing to see a long-standing restaurant compromise on food quality. I hope Royal China takes this feedback seriously...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
