"Dem Kneipchen eilt ein sehr guter Ruf voraus, das muss man sagen. Entsprechend hoch waren unsere Erwartungen. Veilleicht war ich deshalb etwas enttäuscht, denn gerade die Fleischqualität wurde gelobt und somit haben wir viel erwartet. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt. Mein Mann ist sehr pingelig bei Fleisch und dieses Mal musste ich ihm Recht geben. Zudem ist der Umgangston der Bedienung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig vielleicht ist es der österreichische Schmäh, den ich eigentlich von meinem Mann und seiner Familie kenne... Das Ambiente ist irgendwie urig, aber dann auch wieder nicht so ganz rund. Man kann also sagen: Ok, aber so unbedingt muss ich nicht wieder hin."

"We were wondering about the name of the restaurant which shows the concept. It was surprised to see the various meat and authentic Thai foods. Especially steak variation were great and quality was good compare to high class steakhouse in Frankfurt.Our party had 2 small children and there were Kids menu and some burgers which makes child friendly. "Meine Freundin und ich waren spontan in diesem Restaurant. Ich bin schon mehrfach vorbei gefahren mit der Straßenbahn 16 und es hat immer wieder mein Interesse geweckt und ein Samstag Abend, beim Schweizerplatz Straßenfest haben wir uns spontan entschlossen rein zu gehen und probieren. LAGEEs ist ein Eckrestaurant in der Nähe vom Schweizer Platz. Man erreicht es sehr schnell mit der U-Bahn und/oder Straßenbahn. Vom Südbahnhof zu Fuß sind es 10-15 Gehminuten.LocationDas Restaurant verfügt über einen Innen sowie außen Bereich. Im inneren laufen die Sushi Teller über ein Band. Wer draußen sitzt, muss entweder die Teller mitnehmen, was A la Carte bestellen oder den Kellner bitten bestimmte Teller zu bringen. Die Location ist sehr stylvoll und modern eingerichtet. Note 1+ für Sauberkeit, Licht & coSpeisenDie Küche ist teilweise sichtbar. Auf dem Weg zum WC kann man einen kleinen Blick in die Küche werfen und sehen wie professionell und sauber die Köche arbeiten. Die Schneidebretter waren alle sehr sauber, Messer jedes mal sauber gemacht. Die Speisen selbst sind sehr köstlich und kreativ in Teller eingerichtet. Beispiel ein Maki ist allgemein lecker aber es kann ein besonderes Genusserlebnis werden wenn die Reiskonsistenz und alles stimmt. Bislang ist dies der beste Maki den ich je gegessen habe. Das Prinzip vom Band ist einfach. Jeder nimmt sich den Teller selbst vom Band und stapelt diese.Je nach Speise sind die Kellner sofort bereit bestimmte Teller erneut warm zu machen.ServiceGroßes Lob am Service. Note 1*Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Am Anfang waren wir etwas unsicher und der Kellner hat uns alles in Ruhe erklärt, uns ein ruhiges Plätzchen angeboten, Getränke sofort gebracht und bei bestimmten Speisen nachgefragt ob diese warm gemacht werden sollen.PreiseLeider kann ich bisher keine Auskunft über die Menükarte geben. Bezüglich Speisen vom Band ist es einfach. Jeder Teller hat einen farbigen Rand. Jede Farbe entspricht einen Preis. Preise der Teller sind zwischen 1,30€ bis 6€. Das essen ist sehr lecker und durch die Kreativ Zusammensetzung bekommt man lust immer mehr oder was neues zu probieren. Das hat leider seinen Preis. Sehr schnell erreicht man die 30€ pP. ZusammenfassungMeiner Freundin und meine Meinung nach ist dies das beste Sushi Restaurant Frankfurts. Wir waren bereits in mehrere aber hier fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen und das essen schmeckt auch richtig gut. Auf jeden Fall kommen wir wieder."

"we reserved a table for 4 people. in retrospect, I have to say that it is really tight at 4 in the da franco. I would most recommend this Italian to two. with us not even all the tellers fit the table. Unfortunately, there is only one menu and you don't get it unrequired. this was a bit difficult at 4 people. overall, the service could be a bit more attentive. if one is taken care of, however, then always sympathetic, partly with sweat and great helpfulness like flexibility. For example, we were already divided two times a pizza as an appetizer and a pasta as a main dish, so we could taste more different dishes. self-made pasta is appropriately marked and the pizza is the one that I think is best in whole frankfurt. the teig tastes fantastic, is thin, crispy and throws light bubbles. the ingredients I received as always fresh and the raspberry tiramisu of the special card was a dense and should be absolutely tried. also the weeping tasted good. the prices are fair. You should get here anyway!"

"Moriki was booked out for lunch so we chose this little restaurant souterrain in chique Westend of Frankfurt. My friend and I met there for 12.30 on a Friday and I luckily grabbed the last table without reservation shortly before that hour. So full because it is value for money, something not so common in the area of the city.European and Asian guests, each table that became available while we ate was quickly occupied again. The lunch menues are abundant, come fast with efficient service and include a salad, soup, main course and soft drink for anything between EUR 11 to 30. I enjoyed a salad, miso soup and bowl of rice topped with delicious eel, my friend found some bines in her chicken she found hard to deal with with chopsticks, but a knife and fork were promptly brought to help.The only draw back is its noisy when so full. Don't wait to pay at your desk: nobody tells you or pays attention, but you pay at the bar before leaving. No idea how they control who pays what though."

"Really unique in Frankfurt. Very authentic cuisine, although there are still European influences. The price class of the normal card is slightly increased (see menu). But there's the lunch table. Monthly changing dishes on the lunch card for a price between 7 and 10 €. So perfect for the central location in downtown. The service is very friendly and also very striving to get the lunch tower under control. Unfortunately this does not always succeed and you have to expect a small waiting period. But it's definitely worth it."

"Ein wunderbares Restaurant mit Top Bedienung und einer sehr ansprechenden Karte. Die Garstufen entsprachen dem Bestellten. Die Beilagen waren für uns etwas zu gross. Am Nebentisch war eine Gruppe lauter Schotten (während Europameisterschaft) mit bereits etwas viel Bier intus und einer einschlägigen Sprache. "mampf is one of those places that have character but on a good wise. it is a tiny local pub, not real tables, just a bar and long narrow wood planks. but they can sit in one row next to the other. strange, but for a small group. the place is a jazz club at some nights, and on others there is sometimes someone who plays only piano. the decor is very cool: old posters, old musical instruments, much used wood and much soul. there is a surprisingly good selection of designs for beer (from the barrel,) including the good and unusual (for frankfurt) tucher, gruener and jever, as well as several bottle beer and other drinks. they will not be served a menu, unless they ask, and most people only drink, but do not make a mistake: this place has a tiny but efficient kitchen, and the menu is surprisingly extensive, with hot dishes as well as pub snacks, and the prices are humble. I had a good hand-cash with music (the frankfurter speziality of cheese with whistle and vinegar) and a friend had a delicious flaky cake (German pizza the inherent problem is that it is full at 21:00 or 22:00; they simply cannot get in. to be on the safe side, I would recommend to come 20:00, and much earlier on jazz nights."

"this is a special review as I wasn´t in the restaurant as a normal guest but as a special backstage visitor observing from 2pm to 9.30pm all the actions in the kitchen. I also got the chance to taste a lot of what they produced...and it tasted impressively good. All meals are produced with fresh food. The owner and head cook is a very experienced professional who creates together with 2 other cooks the goodies. There were three other intetesting things I was able to observe, 1) it was a very clean in the kitchen (normal you can´t see it but hope for it as a guest) 2) the waiter told a couple of times the kitchen team that a guest liked his meal 3) all ! plates came back to the kitchen empty and that I think is a very good indication that the people liked the dinner"

"How did the local visit before an opera performance and therefore had to be there quite early, 6 pm. The atmosphere wasn't very cozy because nobody else was there. The facility is also very simple. So I was a little disappointed. However, after that we were very surprised at the absolutely delicious tappas that were brought very quickly and were very rich. We have not taken any of the main courts, but we are very satisfied and then very satisfied without rushing to the Bockenheimer Depot. Very recommended!"

"It was only through pure chance that I first visited Tapas Locas and I am ever thankful to the other nearby tapas restaurant who, after booking a table two hours in advance, told us that we hadn 't called, eventually conceded that we did call but had given our table away and then told us to leave as they were too busy to seat us. Many thanks to them for their inefficiency as we then found this real gem of a restaurant instead. The menu provides a good selection of tapas to choose from without being too extensive as to compromise the freshness of the food, the portions are a good size and are fairly priced, the food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are also very fairly priced, with a glass of the dry red house wine (which for me works perfect with most tapas) costing EUR3.60 for 0.2l. Personal highlights of the menu for me are the 'Pimentos de Padrón ' (fried baby green peppers with sea salt), Mejillón en Vinegreta de Pimientos (cold green lipped mussels in a pepper vinaigrette) and the Pan y Allioli, which although simple to do, is made with the perfect balance of garlic. Tapas Locas is only a small restaurant so reservations are recommended but this adds to the cosy feel of the place and also ensures that you feel looked after by the staff for the duration of your visit. The staff are attentive without being overbearing and are happy to recommend dishes to you, which have proven to me to be well worth taking. Although the restaurant can get busy at times I have never felt rushed to leave to seat more people in our seats, in fact one time I even had to convince the waiters that we were just about to pay the bill to stop them from turning away more customers. This was my third visit to Tapas Locas, where once again I have felt welcome, enjoyed everything I ate and left feeling very satisfied indeed. Highly recommended."

"Wir haben für unseren Geburtstag Catering von Mirch Masala für ca 30 Personen bestellt. Die Gruppe war halb indischer Herkunft und die andere Deutsch. Es hat allen super geschmeckt, auch meiener Schwiegermutter aus Indien!!! Die Menge war üppig, es war reichlich Paneer und Huhn in den Currys sodass wir merkten, dass hier nicht vom Restaurant gespart wurde. Es war wirklich super! Kostenlos gab es sogar Nachtisch dazu! Beim Nächsten Catering bestellen wir hier definitiv wieder. Wir werden jetzt sicher auch unseren Stamminder zu Mirch Masala verlegen!!!"

"On the edge of Frankfurt's somewhat rough but increasingly trendy red light district sits Nuy's Thai Imbiss. It's small, its crammed, and its full with a mix of colorful people and business types. And they all come for what at least I consider the best...Thai food in town. If you can stand hot food go for the red curry, preferably with duck (no Or try no from the Thai menu. Or the soup and then make sure to add some of the spices that are on the tables, including a bit of sugar.
