we have visited 4 times for lunch and not even disappointed. costume and enough to fill this old couple bells. great service and very comfortable arrangements.

a wonderful historical guest house beautiful atmosphere, wood fires with the friendly and welcoming renter. good selection of ales and also some fine weine! great place for Sunday dinner after a walk around harberton.

Saw it signposted off the nearby main road and we like to support local businesses so went there for lunch. We negotiated the narrow difficult access, only to find they don't open at lunchtime. Why don't they make that clear on the roadside sign ?

This was a hidden gem of a place, we had amazing food, wonderful service and a lovely evening! The building itself is so interesting, the choice of food was great and our food was fantastic. Could not recommend this place enough, we would definitely love to return!

First visit but not the last very old pub 12th century . Food was excellent all freshly cooked we sat outside but the inside is fabulous really old panelling large fireplace at the end of the room a must for history buffs .the village is very pretty very narrow road to get to the pub Couldn't see disabled access but everything else definitely worth 5 star

it is a because since we visited the church house inn, so decided to go for a meal last Saturday night and they did not disappoint, the food was super, the service was perfect and there was a relaxed ambiente in the inner, clear, they care about the quality of the food they serve and the comfort of their dining room guests, it was refreshing to go somewhere, the more scary available. if they are served on looking for good quality eating in a stress-free environment, please visit this pub, we will certainly go back.

It’s been a while since we've visited the Church House Inn, so decided to go for a meal last Saturday night and they didn't disappoint, the food was superb, the service was perfect and there was a relaxed ambience inside, clearly, they care about the quality of the food they serve and the comfort of their dining guests, it was refreshing to go somewhere that was more interested in value than shoehorning diners into every available space.If you're looking for good quality food served in a stress-free environment please visit this pub, we are certainly going back.

This is a very long overdue review and I can only apologise to John for not doing it sooner. My wife and I stayed at the Church house Inn for a lovely long weekend last summer. The self-catered apartment that had just been recently renovated back then really was the perfect place to stay. It was such a cosy and charming spot in a beautiful little village just outside of Totnes. A massive thank you to John who really looked after us, and to his family for their incredible hospitality and divine home cooked food which really is to be experienced. I can't recommend highly enough. If your planning a visit to south Devon, or passing through, look no further.
