beautiful (our) neighbourhood pub, Fab staff, very friendly quantity, dog-friendly and with reasonable eating.

The food (and cocktails) at the Londesborough is always very good, but today the Sticky Toffee pudding was really outstanding. Thanks to you all, especially the chef, for a wonderful meal.

I enjoyed a very good Sunday roast with my family. the service was excellent, the personal was friendly and attentive. the building has a traditional look with a bright modern note, where the right cocktails are mixed to order. I had a crunchy **** mary made with freshly grated meerrettich. this is the best frying dinner we found in the opposite, and the beautiful homemade desserts were a nice opportunity to finish the meal. I was lucky enough to host my book launch at The Londesborough last week. The pub is local to us and was an easy choice they have a gorgeous garden full of roses which is the perfect sun trap. The team were fantastic to work with, super responsive and flexible to ensure the event ran smoothly and exactly as I needed it to. They were super attentive with planning and on the night, and just a joy start to finish. Could not recommend more!

On Sundays, this place does one of the best roast dinners I've had in a restaurant. It's an absolute table-creaker and very well cooked. They do a massive three-meat roast that is listed as serving two, but was so huge that it would probably serve several more. The slow-roast pork belly was especially good. The staff were friendly and it was all just a wonderful dinner. I have not yet tried the week-day menu but if it's anything like their roasts then I am looking forward to that!

we had our high-time celebration in the londesborough and had an absolutely amazing time with really limited amounts of planning stress in the lead to the party. amber and the team were incredibly helpful with everything, led us through the available options and give helpful leads to what they found to have worked best in past. we have many compliments from our guests about the level of service, quality of food and in the usually only the setting itself. I think I found it in the londesborough in stoke newington. we should get the riding house caffe and have brunch/roast there, but since it was a crispy morning outside, cold, wet and windy, we decided to stay closer to the house. I am so glad that we did this, although I know that the riding house caffe will soon be visited enough. we eat in the londesborough a few times, but it was always for a week night sip as it is the next eat pub for us, as the shakespeare only makes barnacks. eating was good, especially the burger, although the frits...more

We had our wedding reception at the Londesborough and it was incredible. The pub looked stunning with the bunting and the lights and Greg and his team did an amazing job setting up our tables and other decorations too. He and Amber made the planning process really easy and no-stress and always conveyed a sense of having everything under control. The food was phenomally good too, several guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding (and I concur, though I imagine I'm biased). My husband and I can't wait to return to reminisce over the (also excellent) Sunday roasts! Just hoping we get some sort of priority access given how popular the pub is.
