"The spacious country pub, brimming with character, is conveniently located near the M1 highway. There are plenty of parking spaces in the back. During our visit, they were hosting a beer and music festival, and their regular menu was replaced with an English tapas-style menu. We ordered our usual dishes and were not disappointed! The dining experience was superb, with all the food being freshly made in-house and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly as well."

My mother celebrated her 80th birthday at this restaurant with a party of 30 people on Saturday. The food was excellent and served hot! The manager was very friendly and the waitresses were busy but still attentive. They even fixed a mistake with the fish and chips promptly. I would give this restaurant 5 stars.

We recently dined at The Old King's Head and were always greeted with welcoming smiles and served delicious, home-cooked meals. We sampled a variety of dishes from the menu, all of which were tasty. We particularly enjoyed the Wednesday night burger and pint special, as well as the Sunday dinner. The homemade dishes truly stand out, and we look forward to returning regularly. Matt and Catie create a wonderful family atmosphere that we absolutely love.
