"it was Mother's Day, so I decided to take my mother to the seafood restaurant for her mother's day treatment. I wanted to eat a dae in this restaurant and my mom loves fish so perfect! the first thing they have about this restaurant when they park is that it sits over the sand of st andrews in a glass box wrapped. cook in an open kitchen on the side of the restaurant where they can see everything prepared. it looks impressive and I can see his busy inside. when entering the restaurant itself and my mother were warmly welcomed and offered a seat at the back of the restaurant. we were asked if we would like to wait 5 minutes so that we can be placed at a window seat with a view of the sand, no problem we both answered. we were offered water and equipped with the menu so that we could decide what we had for our lunch. we sat 5 minutes later, in a beautiful seat, over the view of the sand. the look of our seat for drinks, I decided to stay on sparkles"

Perfect location if you want to enjoy the seafood and sea front at the same time! There is a car park nearby and The Aquarium if you would like to enjoy this area to the fullest

Lovely dinner for four here after watching the AIG women’s open championships at Carnoustie. The food was stunning, the view and the walk to digest afterwards on the beach made it a great memory.

Beautiful views over the bay, amazing food. Excellent menu choices and informative staff. Interesting wine list. Lovely crab as a starter and delicious halibut as a main course. Will certainly return!

Fantastic food and service once again, my second time to this lovely, secluded place and will return again next year. Recently visited 22/10/21 and couldn’t fault …..keep up the good work ….highly recommended

Visited on a Saturday evening, very impressed with the service. Very attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious and all served very promptly. Lovely restaurant, will definitely book again when visiting St Andrews.

Easily one of the best meals I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. This food could be served on a paper plate in a cave and you'd come back. As it happens, it's a glorious setting with the most wonderful staff. Can not rate it high enough. Flawless.

One of the worst dining experiences ever. Broken windows, endlessly complaining staff. overcooked haddock. I ordered oysters, the menu said oysters, I got a greasy grey ' oyster pannacotta ' that tasted like cheese. Complaints not taken seriously, not dealt with, no contact made with chef, no deductions on bill. no tip.

Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch here after reading reviews. So many restaurants in wonderful locations rely on the location but not here, superb food, atmosphere and staff that would be a credit to any management accompanied by wonderful chefs. Set menu was great value for money and thank you for making our last day in St Andrew’s a memorable one.

The restaurant itself is very bright and offers great views. It has good vibe although the environment was too busy and noisy for my liking, which prevented any enjoyable conversation. Staff were friendly, ready to answer questions and talk about the menu. Someone was always around to check everything was on order without being intrusive, which was appreciated. The food was simply amazing. Intriguing visual presentation which makes you want to sink your teeth in combination of flavours that makes you soon down and cherish each bite.
