I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I visited to celebrate my son's birthday. The price per person was between £30 and £40. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5! Visualizza piatti

I was disappointed, £30 for 1 person and a van, no views and could have been a field anywhere. I was going to use the toilet as i left but no toilet paper. The bins over flowing at 10am. It's a stay over where u eat at the pub and stay out the back for free but not a paying camping site.

"Have been a frequent regular to the Plough and Harrow for years prior to lockdown and thought we would return to try the Sunday roast. Atmosphere was not very welcoming, staff seemed stressed and it has lost its relaxed vibe. Food arrived quickly. Beef and beef gravy was delicious and tender, the rest was a disappointment. The vegetables were obviously frozen and very under cooked, the cauliflower cheese was just a bland cheese sauce and there was sweetcorn, which is not a veg I would put with a roast. The Yorkshire pudding was hard and had been hanging around and the roast potatoes were reheated. It did not arrive hot, more luke warm. For £18 I would expect to be exceptional. We paid and left quickly. Sadly we won’t be returning."

"Delicious food. Service lets it down. Staff are nice and polite but further training needed as they are busy and you quickly get forgotten. Starters came quickly and mains but had to wait over an hour for them to take away the dishes despite being asked 4 times if we can order desert and needed the plates taken away. This place could be phenomenal if they just had a bit more care for their customers. It’s unpleasant waiting around for an hour for a simple task of taking away dishes"

"I'm so sorry to write this, but we were really disappointed with our meal. Starters was a fish cake and tarter sauce. The fish cack was a frozen birds eye one. Mains I had batted haddock and chip, well skinny fries which were anemic and by the time you've ate 3 the rest are cold. Chicken tikka which was just like a meal deal from Tesco. Pulled pork chilli..... I believe they are new to the business and really hope they improve but they totally need to look at the food Thier serving. We glanced through window of kitchen and all you could see was a serving stand and microwaves. However the young girl waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a shame but hopefully feedback will help. I did mention about the chips last night as obviously I didn't eat them but didn't want to come over negative as we stayed for few drinks later. All the best hope things change and we will then give you another try."

"We stopped in for lunch while strolling along the beach. It's a bit of a walk from the shore, but definitely worth it! The cheese and ham melt allows you to choose between white or brown bread, and it comes with a side of salad and chips. The sandwich was enormous, generously filled with ham and cheese, and absolutely delicious. We chose to sit inside since it was a bit hot outside. There are outdoor tables available, but the inside was more comfortable. The restaurant accommodates a table for six, two tables for four, and one table for two, so I imagine it could be challenging to find a seat when it's busy. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a great lunch!"
