"A small restaurant with excellent kitchen performance: With pasta very good in taste, fantastic burrata, deliciously prepared octopus and 1 (of 2) excellent beef fillets with very creative pepper sauce. Good wine recommendation with fair price. Not so good: A fillet was quite small and “through” instead of “medium rare” (as ordered). Early-time boss informed, 1 third (the piece was, at all tolerance, not edible). Then a new “delivery” was offered. But that didn't make any sense when we were all done. As a former gastronomy with gourmet restaurant, I was very surprised that despite the complaint the full price was calculated. Dessert and digestif were not offered, but a good grappa “from the house” to farewell. €195 for 4 people, including drinks, was a fair and reasonable price. Conclusion: The “living room” is absolutely recommended (until the rough tip with the fillet). We come to Henau several times a year and will surely visit the restaurant again."

We were back with our absolute favorite Italian and what should I say....a dream!!! Since the Italians are already famous not only for pizza and pasta, but also with high quality beef, I could not resist....In times our Gerardo and its “Amore” Filomena are known for best ingredients, this time it had to be the beef fillet. What should I say, short and short... it was definitely one of the best pieces of beef fillet I've ever eaten. Not only handmade, but also meat quality was of the highest quality. With a glass of best Italian red wine an absolutely successful weekend... DANKE GERADO, DANKE FILOMENA....we come back as usual!!!
