"Went last night with a family group of 7 plus 2 under 5's and what a little gem it was. Sat outside, served by the owners daughter, who understood the groups Black Country accent well and handled us and her other tables with a lovely smile and efficient service. We ordered the tomato bruschetta and garlic bread, both freshly prepared, the bruschetta was a delight as the bread was lovely and soft can't tell you the amount of times I've have the melba toast equivalent served) and tomato topping fresh and light hints of garlic and herbs. The group ordered 3 pizzas, a lasagna, spaghetti carbonara and 2 different options of gnocchi I ordered the pesto gnocchi and jokingly asked for a large portion, which the waitress automatically replied if I wanted a portion and a half, which I confirmed. When it arrived, the amount was just spot on for a ravenous ex rugby player, it was well balanced with the level of tasty pesto sauce and gnocchi and overall a thoroughly tasty meal, my niece ordered the alternative, a tomato one, and she also enjoyed her meal to. Overall I think the group enjoyed their meal, given the silence that descended on the table when the food arrived, with the penguin colony sound effect replaced by lip smacking, nodding of heads in enjoyment, plates being swapped as we tried each others food and kids asking for more slices of pizza."
