"This large restaurant divided into three spaces is back in the hills above the Forbach area. Perhaps because it is a bit off the beaten path it is not as crowded as it could or should be for the quality of food and the charming setting. It definitely has a rustic feel with lots of dark wood to set off the spotless white table linens. Service is very good and the menu is seasonal with lots of fresh produce. The wine list is decent although a bit pricey by the bottle. Beer is a feature and there is a lovely beer garden in which to sit and enjoy a leisurely drink and chat with friends. The outdoor area is child and family friendly by way of a designated play area. There is a large room for receptions and large parties as well as a smaller, more intimate area for romantic date nights. The current menu will change or at least add a special Asparagus offering some time in April and the chef is very skilled. A particular favorite this visit was a curry foam soup and the salad with perfectly cooked lamb."
