"We visited this pub on the way home after a long walk with our dog 'Watson '. Dogs were allowed in the bar, the place was busy so had a nice country atmosphere, the bar keeper was friendly enough and we found a corner to sit and enjoy drinks and a portion of very nice chips! Menu looked good as did the roast on the table next to us so we will be back to try it out soon. Bar area is cosy but the pub has a large dining area and I could see it was larger still via a courtyard so deceptively big. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
