"Chicken in a basket sounds pretty normal to us American tourists but as other travellers have mentioned, it's ALL about their sauce. You can order it mild, medium, or spicy -- I had medium and could barely taste the heat. Don't feel silly when your primal instincts tell you to pick up the chicken with your hands because everyone else is doing it as well!We each ordered chicken in a basket and one side of fries. We were pleasantly stuffed! Best meal I had in Switzerland in the middle of summer!Decor is kind of out dated but the views this restaurant provides can't be beat. It's a bit of a drive out of Lucerne but it's well worth it.I also met the owner of the restaurant. She's a sweet old lady who sits in a corner booth and watches as her customers devour her delicious chicken."
