"the second evening at the ahr. after the somewhat sobering Friday evening something had to come about, which did not raise too high expectations. In the morning at the view from the hotel room I saw the “Kleinertz – restaurant and bar”. I remembered. last year on an advents Saturday we spontaneously tried to get our luck there. had no chance. So we tried again this time. we should be happy! after the breakfast there was the “Ahrathon” [here link] looking pure: on the plan, with only one weinberg’s hike taking place, but also a little more than seven kilometers uphill, downhill – on the way there we quickly threw a look at the map and found it good. as in the evening before, we only went to eat three. in the hotel room to follow the European championship game on the bed. once across the marketplace we stood in front of the local. the external seating was only used separately. the summer didn't really want to get into the walks until then. we then also preferred to feed inside. the offers on the walls and then on the dark stubborn. Of course, the house in which the small house is housed is a beautiful old work. one of the oldest in the city. That's why I love the ancient city of ahrweiler. here the time has stopped and you can discover so much... back to the evening. we will receive very friendly. the young lady lets us freely choose a table, yet not much is going on. we will then take left behind under the stairs. above the stairs a large television on which football em was also shown. As already mentioned, all relatiw is dark. red, orange and brown change, with heavy dark wooden beams on walls and ceilings. indirect light from large ceilings, and many images of different sizes. the shank thek at the entrance is decorated with cuddly clothes... I find it very cozy and suitable for the house. the ladies sat as always, if possible, on the bank. which was equipped with lushly filled seat cushions, which of course also came into use. the table, on the other hand, was made of light wood, a small table cloth in the middle was enough to place salt-scattered, pfeffer mill, bebeflyer and a tealight. cut and serviettes were served only after ordering and neatly placed by each. so we sit comfortably and get the card quickly. then lets us look the girl from service in rest. on the bill is later “It served her Günay”. so after a günay she didn't look. more like a sandra or miriam. you don't know. I think that the man on the tresen was a günay, at least visual... as aperitif the two ladies choose to me over the house aperitif. I don't know what it was. at least something with secco and cost 5,20€. I decided spontaneously for a small pils 0.25/2,10€ with the bottle water ordered 0.75/5.60€ the desired drinks came pleasantly cooled, flotted and at the same time at the table. we could then give up the order of eating. the card is kept small and at the moment dominated naturally the austerity. but also unusual things like sepianudels, duet from the maul bag, bouillabaisse unfortunately from or geüsecouscous can be found as well as grounded dishes ala “Ahrweiler Römerbraten”, carvings, calves liver, flame cake and matjes. every one should become fertile. Too bad that our extremely attentive, friendly and always present service did not give any hints to the specificities offered here and there, both inside and outside on the wall. e.g. eagle fish or spaghetti with pfifferlingen anyway the note that the fish soup is sold out. the wine card is also rather small, at least almost only ahr weine. and big names there are only bottle-like. we should be joined. it should be a rosé, after red wine was not us, riesling would not have been able to eat. two stood for selection, didn't know both. So, asking what the service could recommend, our service girl offered to try both. I'm so sorry! after the tasting was also quickly clear, it should be the blanc de noir “Blank jemaat” from the weingut kurth from ahrweiler to be 21,40€ beautiful, honest wein. fruity fresh and pleasantly dry with a creamy full of red fruits and quite long in reverberation. the bottle disappeared in the cooler after the sinking. then it was finally time for the appetizers. the two ladies shared a fresh flare cake with fried chicken strips, red wobbles and rucola 13.60€ flame cake with chicken breast, red wobbles and rucola a neat portion, both did not want to eat completely, so I had to run. the thin and crispy as it is. the form after judging but bought. the ply was good and dedicating. enough greasy, unfortunately a little dry chicken breast, for that the rucola astrein. I would have liked a little brot. but so in itself harmonious and fine. 3.5* in between was always asked and the wee was also carefully poured. already now it was possible to say that the work made the girl fun and that was also on us. Also the main foods were served at the same time, our service lady was supported by two men. spaghettini with fresh pfifferlings in rahm 13.80€ spaghettini with fresh pfifferlingen a court of the day card on the wall. fräulein had discovered it and then decided even against the sepianudeln. and probably too right. the noodles perfectly cooked with plenty of salt, the pfifferlings very well in aroma and very clean and also abundant. also the creamy, strong cream sauce was very lushly portioned. a little radiant cream and a skinned cocktailtomate made for color on the dish. a good, delicious dish! 4* portion of fresh German asparagus with fine homemade sauce hollandaise and butter potatoes to be added to it fillet with speckbutter 18,20€ fresh German asparagus with scholle in speckbutter and butter potatoes there I had to access. scholle and spargel is my favorite at the season! and for the money too ample. ca. 300 grams of white asparagus and a greener lay centrally on the teller, flanked by two whole swollen fillets, discreetly fried and not dry, this still floats in the lukewarm butter including speck. nicely cooked potato, which also have enough salt. the spargel was a really good one. beautiful in a bite and very tasty. but then the hollandaise. this was served separately in a small saucer and was so of airy and creamy, a dense! pity that the saving time is already over again... 4.5* in between again the attentive service, demand and pouring came placed and still retaining. we were really done this night by the young woman. she had earned her good drink money honestly! for a dessert was no more space. for this there was a frenzy espresso corretto 3,60€ and for me a grand trester 4,50€ – not explained in more detail – from the specially brought digestif card, which had almost more positions than the wine card. we were both satisfied with the choice. the bill took over this evening my mother-in-law. it almost led to a family dispute that I paid on the day before, although the father-in-law had birthday. only he had to leave the local after the appetizer... so we were even again, all happy and definitely not the last time there! Conclusion: restaurant with high feel factor and almost perfect service! I can only repeat myself. for a long time we haven't felt so honestly nice and caressed like this evening. well, it wasn't too much going on, but you felt every moment the pleasure and fun our service had with us this evening. if I had something to complain, then we were not referred to the day recommendations. still 4.5* for the service – honestly deserved! the food was better as I could expect and also put together thoughtful, with the selection plentiful and not boring. the portions sufficient and fair in the price perhaps aside from the flaky cake . ground and also whipped. 4* the ambiente has something for itself. it is already very cozy, though in some corners the nippes protrudes over. good 4* in the cleanliness there was not much to complain, only on our table was at the beginning a small spot, probably from the guests before. a lack of attention. because otherwise everything was without any objection. even on the toilets everything was perfect. 4.5* apart from perhaps a somewhat expensive flame-cake, prices were human and justified. therefore 4.5* for the plv 4 – again 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again after a kitchen trip"

"the restaurant „Metzlers“ is located in bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, near the big hotel „Steigenberger“ and the playground. parking is close to very few, right behind the house there is a small in-house parking. we were in the Medzgers for dinner and we liked it very well. as an appetizer there were jacobs mussels with salad and bark carpaccio. as main dishes we had norwegerlachs with saffron sauce sweet, rice and swirl roast with bratkartoffeln. all tasted delicious and freshly prepared. that was noticed with every bite and so we let ourselves enjoy enough. to the quality of eating can be said that it was very good. both of them were swirl and the salmon were in front of place. the saffron sauce and the sweet supplements were wonderful. the service was attentive and anything but hectic. perhaps a little necessary for the reconciliation that has been called in throughout the region, but important for us is the result, and that was very important. not a wild, but everything is loose and perfect. in the foods offered, the inclined reader now thinks that the dishes are also expensive. this is not the case, however, but they must be classified in the higher category, but in any case the money is worth. so that should not stop picking up the restaurant once. everything in all restaurant Metzgers is definitely recommended. especially when they are in the worse newer city and are perhaps on the go, the “Metzgers” offers the perfect conclusion of a big day. or for the players and bumpers among us, the “Metzgers” offers a good push, then to land the big hit in the game bench."

"the “Bayerische Embassy” is located on the ahrpromenade direction seta- hotel and is a well-known name in the gastronomy in badahr. they can eat outside in the summer in the beer garden and otherwise inside in a beautiful atmosphere and let it go well. the service was very good. the feeding means are arranged rather in the defigen region. for example: rumpsteak, wood-**** steak, tree-cream or putensteak with fruits and much more. I think it's more like looking at mass rather than good. a little reduced and fresher would be desirable. the cultivated salate consisted of raw and intarsia supplements and not hit on my taste. I would like to emphasise, however, that deviations from the card are allowed, as for example sweet instead of salads. the prices are in order and perfectly match the offered foods. you can say that the price-performance ratio is true here. the same also applies to the service. this is very motivated and committed and goes on to every wish of customers. I personally like the space very well, as I am also for the Bavarian flair and will be easily convinced, but this is a taste. the restaurant also has excellent winery. Conclusion: if the kitchen still brings a small taste to the dressed and does not put so much on the mass, then it will be part of my favorite in the long term. so there are only 3 stars, but with the intention of a much better evaluation. I will definitely visit the restaurant again because I think they can always spend a nice time with delicious food. I also need to examine whether my impression has changed because of the “mass instead of class”."
