"It's maybe one or two years ago and we had been to 'Da Mimmo's' a few times with friends. It is true, the food is good, and it's a nice place, but frankly, I found the owner rather graceless and rude. For a restaurant which...obviously caters to not just locals and the owner obviously seems to fancy himself as a worldly man, not to take credit cards of any form seems very backward. I have no problem really if he chooses to do this, a bit short sighted and stingy because they don't want to pay the percentage, however, when as a foreigner one makes a reservation, I think one should be told that is the case, rather than being told, when having entertained about friends and wants to pay, sorry cash only or EC card? what is this?. OK no problem, but the way he did this was so arrogant and rude, 'There are cashmachines not far from here, you can go and get it' and that in the depth of winter. We had to club around to pay the bill of nearly Euro which frankly was a wee bit embarrassing. So the moral of the story, the food might be good, the ambience nice, however, even though we come to Bad Wiessee very often for medical reasons, we have never been back and never will go back"
