"...muss die Freiheit wohl grenzenlos sein. Grenzenlose Begeisterung hat das Hertenstein bei uns ausgelöst. Das Ambiente ist bezaubernd, gemütlich, stilvoll und originell. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Die Begrüssung war herzlich, der Gastgeber versteht sein Handwerk par excellence! Vom Vorstellen des Menüs über die Begleitung durch den gelungenen Abend bis hin zu kleinen aber wichtigen Aufmerksamkeiten war der Service außergewöhnlich. Auch die Karte überzeugt voll und ganz. Jeder Gang der kredenzt wurde war für sich ein Gedicht und die Gesamtkomposition deshalb ausgezeichnet. Wir empfehlen dabei das 4-Gang Menü und auch die Weinempfehlung war sicher die richtige. Will man einen schönen Abend in tollem Ambiente mit Sicht auf Baden geniessen, dabei kulinarisch verwöhnt werden. Dann empfehlen wir das Hertenstein. Riesen Dank an die Gastgeber. Absolute Empfehlung."

"good bourgeois restaurant with a large selection.We have eaten well. the selection was very large of carving and burgers over cordon bleu and pizza to steaks on the hot stone. also a large range of supplements: pommes, croquettes, country potatoes, noodles. there was also a small child card. our portions were quite large. there were deductions for the mixed salad: it was quite monotonous and consisted only of cut salads etc. looked after a finished bag from the coop or migros.Covid certificate was checked together with ID!"

"Mein Partner und ich haben eine vegane Pizza, Keile und 6 Stück vegane Nuggets bei Telepizza bestellt. Es gibt 3 verschiedene vegane Pizzas (mit veganem Käse). Variante BBQ Vegan, Montana Vegan und Calabria Vegan. Es kann auch Ihre eigene gewünschte Pizza erstellen. Wir hatten 6 vegane Nuggets und eine Packung Keile. Die Lieferung dauerte etwa 30 Minuten und das Essen war leider warm oder heiß. eher kalt als warm. Die Hecken waren sehr klein und kalt für den Preis. Die Pizza war auch enttäuschend. Der Ersatzkäse war total klebrig und hatte einen lustigen Nachgeschmack. Eine sehr verwöhnte und klebrige Angelegenheit. Die veganen Nuggets konnten überzeugen. "Schweizer & Ungarische Küche. Tolles Gulasch und eines der besten Cordon Bleu die ich je hatte. Als Dessert hatten wir ein Haus gemachter Apfelstrudel den man unbedingt nehmen muss.Sehr netter zuvorkommender Service. Wir werden sicher wieder hin gehen und ich würde es auf jeden fall auch weiter empfehlen.Auf jeden fall für Cordon Bleu Liebhaber zu empfehlen, die auch mal eine etwas andere Version, neben dem Klassiker mit Schinken und Käse, ausprobieren wollen."

"I made a reservation for dinner to celebrate my birthday with frieds and family. The Kanchi staff prepared a special tabel with decorations. As requestet they placed us in a quieter corner to celebrate in a nice intimate setting. They also had the seats ready for the little ones as we had two babies with us. All the servers where very forthcoming and the food was exelent. Thank you for the nice expieriance. We will visit again."

"We came without a reservation, although the restaurant on the terrace was full, we were offered a table inside. We were told that it might take a little longer to order, which was totally fine with us... Well what can I say?! I'm thrilled with the restaurant, from the friendliness of the staff to the great, tasteful furnishings in which you feel very comfortable (that's why we were happy that we were allowed to eat inside and finally the exceptional food, a real culinary delight : great creative and clear map! We will be back definitely! Ps: By the way, we didn't have to wait long for the orders even though the staff had initially informed us about longer waiting times... just great compliments keep it up!"

"In comparison to the other Italian offerings in Wettingen and Baden, Da Luigi is my personal favourite. What it lacks in bling it more than makes up for in quality of food! The pizzas here are reasonably priced (compared with the general prices of food in Switzerland and its the quality and preparation of the food that is the reason that you come here to eat. Almost as if you were in Italy. (I did say almost! The ambience is of a family run business in a cosy small atmosphere adorned with kitsche decorations. The service is expedient albeit a mish-mash of Italian and Swiss-German, which adds to the flavor of the place! The large parking around the back makes for easy access. Everytime I eat here it seems to be in the progress of filling up with more and more locals popping in and out. A perfect place for your after-work friends to meet up and have a great meal, with some cheap wine and great conversation. Highly recommend it."

"I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. After more than 3 years I ate there again (it used to be delicious). But my pizza was totally inedible tasted completely burnt and musty, one side wasn't cooked properly (also very watery) and the other side stuck to the plate and had too much burnt/lumpy flour at the bottom and also a musty taste. I somehow assume that the oven wasn't cleaned well and the old burnt flour residues were then served with it and therefore the dough couldn't bake properly. The other pizza accompanying us also tasted a bit burnt. Regarding the service: well, they seemed very unmotivated. The second star for this is only because the older gentleman apologized and as compensation we were each offered a piece of cake (free) and didn't have to pay for a pizza (the cheaper one, not mine). Nevertheless, I can't recommend it given the poor quality of the pizza. Very disappointing, there are much, much better pizzerias in Baden. Will never eat there again!"

"We visited the restaurant Pinte on a Tuesday evening; the garden section was crowded this night. The starter green salad we found to be a bit uninspired and boring. The steak with vegetables, on the other hand, was really excellent. We experienced the service personnel to be friendly and forthcoming, but a bit overstrained this evening; it was almost impossible to catch their attention to order more beverages. All in all, I agree with some other commentators that the food (and also the service) lacks a bit finesse to justify the rather high prices. The back yard of the restaurant with the shady trees is really lovely for a mild summer evening dinner. But for non-smokers like myself, the constant smoke from neighbouring tables spoils the indulgence of the dining experience. It may make sense to separate the garden into a smoker and a non-smoker section. Toilets would probably need an overhaul."

"Wir wollten nach langer Zeit wieder mal ins Catello! Nun, der Abend war mehr als enttäuschend!! Als wir reinkamen und uns hinsetzten ging es schon mal eine rechte Weile bis sich mal ein Kellner bei uns blicken liess mit der Speisekarte! Wir haben bestellt, 2xPizza, 2xSpagetti, 1xKinderpizza (alles normale Speisen, keine aussergewöhnlichen Wünsche . Nach einer halben Stunde immer noch nichts .... Take Away Kunden wurden aber sofort bedient!! Nach noch einer Weile kamen die 2 Portionen Spagetti ... die Pizzas gingen noch 3 Minuten (der take away kunde wurde aber sofort mit 2 pizzen ausgestattet !!! Geht gar nicht!!! Kunden im Restaurant müssen warten und Abholer werden sofort bedient! Nach weiteren 10 15 Minuten (nicht 3 kamen die Pizzen, nun aber die Kinderpizza fehlte leider!!!!! Also hiess es wieder warten weil diese nicht mal im Ofen war ... nun ja wir hatten alle gegessen und unser Sohn hatte nichts er ass von uns! Seine Pizza wurde im Karton gebracht zum mitnehmen und gratis! Keine Entschuldigung fürs Warten nichts alle assen separat!Nach unserem Espresso (den wir selbstverständlich bezahlt haben : gingen wir relativ verägert!! Ausserdem gehen ständig irgendwelche Leute in die Küche rein und raus .. und keiner von denen war der Koch. Alles in Allem war es kein schöner Abend!! Unfreundliches Personal, sehr lange Wartezeiten Essen aber gut. Fazit lieber bestellen und Abholen, geht viel schneller und schmeckt genau so gut zu Hause"

"Mein Freund und ich haben das Gasthaus zur Brugg für ein Abendessen besucht. Zur Vorspeise haben wir uns für einen gemischten Salat mit Hausdressing entschieden. Im Hauptgang bekam mein Freund das Cordon Bleu trilogie vom Kalb, serviert mit Pommes-Frites und Gemüse. Ich entschied mich für Rindfleisch auf heissem Stein mit Spätzle und zwei verschiedenen Saucen.Der gemischte Salat mit der Feigen-Senf Sauce war sehr lecker. Das Cordon Bleu trilogie setzt sich aus drei verschiedenen Cordon Bleus zusammen nämlich aus Frischkäse-Choriso, Raclette-Schinken und Pastrami-Senf mit Emmentaler. Jedes schmeckte ausserordentlich gut und die einzelnen Cordon Bleus wiesen eine angenehme Grösse auf. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass das Rindfleisch auf dem heissen Stein serviert wird, kann man selber bestimmen wie man das Fleisch gegrillt haben möchte. Das Rindfleisch war extrem zart und ist mir förmlich auf der Zunge zergangen. In einem vorherigen Besuch entschied ich mich für Tatar vom Rind, welches ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert für den kleinen Hunger ist. Ausserdem ist das Personal sehr höflich und stets aufmerksam. Mein Freund und ich können das Gasthaus zur Brugg jedem Fleischliebhaber wärmstens empfehlen."

"I liked ordering here often because the burgers are really tasty. However, yesterday I complained after placing my order because the food was only lukewarm and the food was delivered too late. They contacted me and said it wasn't true that the food was lukewarm, the few minutes late was not a delay (I had ordered for a time and even received confirmation that it would be delivered even earlier). People attacked me, accused me of lying, and claimed that I had left the food out for a long time and it got so cold. Then the boss supposedly got me on the phone and he wouldn't let me speak anymore, I would be lying, they hadn't made a mistake, etc. etc. The food is really tasty, but only one star from me. because customer service is at the bottom of the drawer and you are probably not allowed to give negative criticism. I will definitely never order here again."

"Am liebsten 0 Sterne !! Heute bestellt um 18.00 Uhr. Um 20.00 angerufen und nachgefragt wo das Essen bleibe. Dann wurde mir von Julian gesagt es sei seit 19.50 bereit, nur der Fahrer fehle. Um 20.33 habe ich Julian nochmals angerufen, da ja mein Essen schon seit 40 Minuten bereit sei und er war total unfreundlich, vonwegen mann solle ihn mal ausreden lassen etc. Ich habe eine Bestellung im Wert von über 100. aufgegeben und werde so behandelt. Nach knapp 3 Stunden kam das Essen, total KALT und LAPPRIG... Direkt Julian angerufen und er meinte mann könne nichts machen.. Wie gesagt am liebsten 0 Sterne!"

"We want to thank Afortunata and Jaseem (sp) for an absolutely great experience ! We were in Baden for a marathon. Afterwards we wanted to enjoy a great meal and celebrate the race victory. Unfortunately most restaurants in Baden were closed and we happened upon La Cittadella. Jaseem made a great wine recommendation and started us out with a fabulous antipasti plate, which could have been a meal of its own. We had a few pasta plates as well as pizza and soon It became family style dinner we all shared our dishes. Great atmosphere, great food and overall best meal we had while we were in Switzerland!"

"War mit drei Kollegen zum Sonntags Brunch im Lemon,da wir schon sehr viel gutes über den Brunch im Lemon gehört hatten und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.Wo kriegt man heute noch für 42chf all you can eat and drink !!!??Einfach genial.Normalerweise gehen wir immer ins Bohemia in Zürich zum Brunchen wo wir a lacarte bestellen müssen und jedes Gericht einzel bezahlen müssen. Warum also mehr bezahlten wenn es in Baden für nur 42chf ein Buffet gibt wo man eine reichliche Auswahl hat wie z.B diverse frische Früchte , Patisserie Gebäck ,Spevk ,Rösti ,Rührei,Würstchen,diverse Brote etcWas wir Speziell noch erwähnen möchten :Kaffee und Prosecco soviel man möchte und wenn man ein Waffel liebhaber ist kann man auch das noch beim sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Personal bestellen und diese wird dann im der Küche zubereitet und an den Tisch gebracht.Fazit: Einfach Genial wir kommen bestimmt wieder ."

"I was in St Gallen on business with a colleague and this restaurant was recommended to us. We were very pleasantly greeted and shown to our table. Everyone spoke Italian and the decor was modern and vibrant. Our waitress was amazing (Gladys!) She was so professional and friendly. She suggested the wines and they were excellent. One person ordered the tagliata and she could choose the knife she wanted to use! That was a 1st for me. Everyone was welcoming, attentive to needs and very hospitable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'd love to go back!"

"WHAT AN INSURANCE Definitely avoid this place. If you don't know how customer service works in the restaurant, it's better to close the restaurant. As a sales representative for a large pharmaceutical company, I eat out every day. Mostly with customers like that day. Selected and reserved a table in the restaurant. Called to say it would be later (that can happen with doctors) and when we got there, our table was gone. When we complained, we were told we could go somewhere else. I then asked my customer if we should go to Gentile. The employee or was it even the totally unfriendly boss himself?? took the cards out of our hands and said we should go somewhere else. If you don't need it, that's one thing, but you can't beat this outrageousness. I hope the customers punish them by not entering a restaurant like this anymore. Go to the Rest. Gentile 3 minutes walk away. There they appreciate customers with fine food and hospitality. NO MORE!!!!"
