"de (German below:) on the way we have reserved a table in this Asian restaurant. the reviews on happycow have convinced us to try it even if the site does not seem very promising. The expected expectations were met. we first divide the mini spring rolls, the pikantly marinated soy protein and the nuggets as an appetizer. After that we smoked tofu with sweet, “chickens” and “Ente” with each with wollg vegetables, rice noodles with pikantly marinated soy protein and since then with sweet and cashews. each dish was a little different, so it will certainly not be boring even if you visit more frequently. everything was very delicious and varied, a balanced meal as it should be. the portions were so rich that we have dispensed with dessert. when we are back near Bottrop, we will be happy to come back: during a trip we made a reservation for this Asian restaurant. it was well recommended at happycow so we did not regret it. the site is a bit old school. we ordered the mini spring rolls, marinaded Soy and Nuggets to share as starters. as Maindishes we had smoked tofu with vegetables, “chickens” and “Decken” with vegetables, orzos (rice noodles) with soy and asan with vegetables and cashews. the dishes were all balanced, even if you eat here several times it will not be boring. we liked it well and it was enough to keep us from Desserts. If we're around Bottrop, we'll be back."

Pasta • Pizza • Mittagessen • Italienisch

"Here I wanted to go last Sunday, but fortunately on their Facebook page, I noticed that Sunday's rest day. But the website is so damn inviting that I couldn't expect to eat here anymore. The wooden wall shelves are lovingly filled with predominantly noble wines and various accessories, with tables for 2, 4 or 6 persons and a few high tables also made of rustic, varnished wood – but fortunately far from any IKEA ambience. I could get one of the high tables and much more was not free, because it was well visited. I love to sit a little elevated and so enjoy a good overview of the premises and other tables. I answered the first question about a drink as always with the request for the card. The fish soup lured me as well as the truffled pasta, but finally I decided alone for a lamb with herbal sauce (in the hope that an Italian will not serve the flour sweat usual in the Greek, with which it will suffocate the lamb). On the new question about a drink I asked back: “What do you have for wines?” “We have white or red wine” (I became somewhat impatient) “Yes, what red wine? “Chianti, Merlot, Montepulciano.” “OK, a glass of Montepulciano, please.” There was obviously no wine card. The wine quickly came in a very large, modern wine glass, generously gifted. With the cost of the wine I waited first in the hope of some bread, which then came about 10 minutes later together with 4 large, very excellent olives and some herbal cream. The (country )bread was nice pink, fresh and well baked, though not a la minute. The wine finally delighted me very, very neat for 5,50 € the glass! Fairly calculated here! After not too long, finally the lamb's carcase: on an oval plate about 240 grams (with bone), with some broccoli and a few halved carrots baked in the shell – the avized herbal sauce was fortunately not a sauce, but rather a jus, discreet with garlic and also the rosemary branches and sage lying on top of the lamb – very delicious. The lamb was optimally pink, totally juicy and seemed to have breathed an hour before better it is not really possible – a dream and worth every cent of its 26,90 €. I can't give the kitchen a full 5 stars because the broccoli was no longer bite-resistant, and the sea salt over the lamb was too generously distributed to me. Unfortunately, there are also points for the friendly service, because I had to wait too long for the bread and the wine presentation could have been more detailed. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Have just read that this Trattoria has been registered here 5 years ago, a shame that no one has written a post before me."

"The Grafenmühle is a highly popular Ruhrpott excursion destination in the Kirchheller Heide, especially for visitors to the Halde Haniel, which is about 3 km away, who has been caught up in an exciting new Land-Art life. What I find particularly worth mentioning: both children and dogs are explicitly desired here! For the small guests there is a playground with sandpit, swing, climbing tower, and slide – all from the beer garden can be seen. Otherwise, the place is a kick for bikers, anglers and men who make on thick jacket! Funny, especially if you don't come from the area... The menu offers a varied cross-over between international cuisine and defy local specialties such as roast potato pan. There is a wide selection of fresh salads, various carvings, many pasta dishes and great Burgers specialities. I felt like a flashcake. They are served in oval form and in certain standard offers, e.g. Meditteran, Tuscany or Alsace, which can still be pimped with ingredients to be ordered and paid. I have chosen Alsace type (with cream frogs, bacon cubes) , with extra mozzarella (price of 1.90 euros). The part was crispy, aromatic and really first cream! Rather medium-sized and somehow taste-neutral, the apple cake came up for 2,90 euros – but sweets are not my favorite food anyway. Just needed an accompaniment to my pot of coffee, which was not too acidic, had a pleasant depth and was at 2.50 euros for a very reasonable price. The heart's blood is pleasantly rustic-furnished, inside in dark colors, with lots of wood and nice decoration elements. Outside the beer garden you sit in comfortable pseudo-rattan chairs. The operation is really supersuperett. Original-Ton: “It tastes as delicious as it looks?” Questions are answered with disarming kindness and directness. I have rarely felt so well in this region. Conclusion: at my next visit, I will definitely bring the little daughter of my cousin, because here also children’s menus “For the Short”."
