"We stayed in Boulogne for 1 night and our hotel was just a few my minutes walk from this restaurant. It’s on a stretch of road with about 10 restaurants all next to opposite each other but this was one of the only ones with a few tables available so being as though the menu looked good we gave it a go. Initial impressions were good … drinks arrived quickly and ordered our food. It had been a long day of travelling so weren’t really fussed what we had so just went with something simple a spag bol and a carbonara. The food came out and that’s where the initial impressions ended. Both portions could easily be described as child sized and they were the most basic dishes you could image. What we ordered weren’t exactly complex anyone could make them but these were taken to the extreme. Barely anything else other than pasta and sauce one of the most bland and boring dishes we’ve ever had out. Anyway, couldn’t be bothered to argue over it so we let it go and hoped to get the bill. This proved a lengthy task. Despite making numerous attempts to get a member of staffs attention and doing the universal sign language for the the bill the staff turned a blind eye and kept walking off which just goes to show the type of rude people they are. After what felt like an age we finally managed to get this paid. Think it’s safe to say any other restaurant in the area would’ve been a better choice than this one."
