"a very small but finer last, something hidden in a side street. savingly furnished, looks a bit like a revised private apartment. it sat almost exclusively asiate in the local who already had a good sign. what is brought here kulinarically on the teller is all worth it. absolutely delicious. fresh ingredients, a sauce to put in. the part could have been a bit bigger for me personally, but it was okay. "Finally a pizza that really tastes me. Usually an original stone oven pizza is very thin and quickly becomes cold. The German version usually has more coating and a bit thicker soil. The pizza here is an intermediate thing. The best of both variants: So a little more covering but also not too much, actually exactly right. The noodles I have to try again those were warmed up not so well, but that's what most noodle dishes make you warm again in the oven. All in all a very good place and we definitely come back."

"We had a quick, early dinner here on a Monday evening and were delighted. The food was exceptional I had the fettucine with mushrooms and my friend had the aubergine. Both were outstanding. The service was great, the ambience intimate and buzzy without being distracting. Excellent red house wine served with the meal. The desserts looked fabulously tempting tiramisu and cheesecake in particular! I was so impressed with the whole experience and will definitely be back when I am next in the city. Thank you!"

"I was the first time this year in my favorite ice cream coffee, the ice cream was absolutely classy again, but I was already shocked by this year's prices, I paid for 6 balls without cream and 3 balls with cream exactly 11€ when selling out the house, which are per bullet or for cream 1,10€. And even if I am very happy to eat ice cream and there are regular guests, my pain limit is reached, I will have to limit my ice consumption in this ice cream coffee at the prices. I would like to have awarded 3.5 points (good), unfortunately only gives satisfactory or very good, for very good the prices are now simply too high."

"Eins vorab; wir sind keine Vegetarier-essen Fleisch aber selten und wenn bewusst...Wir waren heute Abend spontan bei Vengo Gast und wir wurden sowas von positiven überrascht. Vorweg haben wir uns eine Vorspeisenplatte geteilt, mein Freund hatte dann das indische-Curry, ich das thai-Curry. Als Nachspeise gab es ein Stück Kucken mit einer Café Latte.Es war köstlich!!! Gerade die Hauptspeise. Wir essen viel Curry und haben schon in diversen Städten welche bestellt. Dieses Curry ist das Beste was wir je gegessen haben (gut, die in Thailand waren natürlich unschlagbar, aber die dürfen da besser schmecken).Der runde Abschluss machte dann ein Stück von der Snickers-Torte. Generell ist die Karte übersichtlich, im Restaurant war es sauber, das Essen super frisch und Preis/Leistung stimmt auch.Wenn wir wieder in Bremen sind, kommen wir ganz bestimmt wieder."

"because I love the Italian cuisine, I thought it was almost empty this day and the waiter welcomed us very kindly and led us to the table. the menu is clear, but since I couldn't decide to take our waiter a three-course menu, we could choose between fish and meat. when I waited, I noticed a small monitor that I could watch the cook as he prepared my food. that shortened the waiting time. after the antipasti came a tomato soup, and I really don't like it, but after the first spoon I was so excited. never ate such a good tomato soup, the rest of which then came was a pale man mouse. the price for this menu was justified, always happy!"

"Sehr gemütliches kleines Lokal, in dem wir herzlich mit Handschlag begrüßt wurden. Wir bestellten Pizza, und das war tatsächlich die beste, die wir seit sehr langer Zeit gegessen haben! Der Boden schön dünn und knusprig und der Belag lecker und reichlich. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde unkompliziert eingegangen. Der Merlot duftete und schmeckte wunderbar und war perfekt temperiert. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Likör aufs Haus und ein nettes Gespräch. Auch die Verabschiedung erfolgte wieder per Handschlag. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Freundlichkeit war ungekünstelt und herzlich. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Bremen sind!"

"the fact that it should have good food and a great atmosphere you can find that you land there and it's already booked or occupied after 5 minutes from opening on Sunday morning. We decided to wait and eat there. Maybe it was just a bad day for us: we waited a lot for the food, and after actually getting a place to sit. I found the avocado toast to be a bit spicy and without a real flavor touch. They have good tea and they take care of infusion time for it. I also rated our experience in comparison to other places like this."

"I came here with some colleagues from work. The restaurant is located close to the River Weser and the city centre. Though it is on the Schlachte it is located on the less touristy side and is therefore quieter and not as expensive.I had the tomoato soup to start and it was freshly made and tasted wonderful. The bread was also warm. My colleagues had the bruschetta with tomato and olives and they also enjoyed that.For the main course I had the Saltimbocca alla Romana, veal medallions with Parma Ham. This was excellent and very tender and tasted wonderful. My colleagues had a variety of dishes including a Pizza and a Calzone and they all enjoyed their meals.This is a very good Italian restaurant and I would highly recommend it. The staff are very efficient and evidently enjoy their work. I will definitely visit this restaurant again."

"På vej hjem til vores campingplads kom vi forbi denne lille restaurant. Der så hyggeligt ud, og vi blev ikke skuffede. Da vi satte os fik vi straks et glas krydret te og vores meget effektive tjener gav os anbefalinger til forskellige retter. Dem fulgte vi, og det fortrød vi ikke. Maden var simpelthen bare fantastisk velsmagende - både lam og fisk - og så kunne man endda få noget, for en dansker, så eksotisk som libanesisk vin til. 100% anbefalelsesværdigt."

"We visited Viet Quan just before Christmas on the recommendation of a local. We eat a fair bit of Vietnamese food back in our native Australia, and this restaurant excelled in what it provided. The menu was only in German and the staff struggled with...English, however we were familiar with the dishes and kicked back to enjoy pho, summer rolls and salads. The food was authentic to its type, fresh and tasty. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and comfortable. Worth supporting with your custom, being a short walk from the centre of Bremen."

"Haben 13 Pizzen bestellt, mit der Maßgabe, dass diese pünktlich zu einem Meeting da sein müssen. Die Pizzen war 45 Minuten zu spät und gut waren sie auch nicht. Der Pizzateig ist kein italienischer Pizzateig (schmeckt eher wie fettiges Brot) und American Style ist die Pizza auch nicht, denn dafür fehlte Käse, von dem nur sehr wenig auf den Pizzen war. Wenig Käse geht nur bei italienischem Stil, ... wenn der Teig selbst schon gut schmeckt. Insgesamt einfach schlecht, eine TK-Pizza einer bekannten Marke schmeckt besser. Leider!"

"Hi,I went there with my family - party of three - for a four course dinner. First of all - the service was very friendly but in the end we were missing some attention and when paying the expectation of our waiter went overboard with 20%+ tip.Atmosphere: yes, your are eating in the lobby of a hotel which is very huge. So it is noisy and I don't recommend it for a cozy dinner. Typical lobby music is playing in the background.Food: this was average at best. We ordered both steaks medium-rare and they came as well-done. The starter was ok but not spectacular. The best was the apple crumble desert.The cocktails actually were quite good.I wouldn't recommend unless I had to stay in the hotel and were too lazy to go out."

"Wir hatten das Mittagsmenüe ; Thunfischsalat mit Gemüse Schweinefleisch mit Bratreis , Original Pat Thais Streetfood mit Garnele und Ente Süß ,Sauer. Das Lokal war gut Besucht und die Getränke kamen schnell an den Tisch, kurze Zeit später unser Essen, ich bestellte vorher das Essen scharf auf Deutsch und Thai, leider war dem nicht so, aber ich bekam auf Nachfrage ein kleines Schälchen eingelegte Chillis, was dem Gericht gut tat , leider kamen die Geschmacksexplosionen nicht so zustande, der Thunfischsalat passt in der Aufmachung nicht dazu, also kein Yam Tuna, der schmeckt wirklich gut, das Essen meiner Frau, war uns so mit den matschigen (verklebt) Nudeln nicht bekannt , Garnelen waren gut, leider wenig frisches Gemüse drin, leider auch zu Süß, ja hätte man vor Ort Bemängeln können, haben wir nicht.Pad Thai Bandnudeln kenn wir aus Bankok anders, es ist unsere Meinung, und jeder muss es ausprobieren. Unser 4 Besuch"

"This lovely old restaurant is stuck in a corner at the end of the most typical street in Bremen's Schnoorviertel, and is a wonderful experience. It could be a tourist trap, given its location, but it is not! And one guesses that immediately by seeing that the majority of the clientèle is local Bremer, with very few tourists. They will accommodate you even if you book very late (well, maybe not for a huge table as it is a small place, but it was very easy for a table of two) in one of their lovely old fashioned rooms. There is ample space between the tables, which is unusual in a restaurant that size, and a relatively low level of noise which is surprising for such a popular place where locals are obviously having fun. We wanted to sample local cuisine and the waitress advised us perfectly; her suggestions were much appreciated and we had a great meal. Not expensive at all, and very pleasant."

"This restaurant was suggested by a fellow expat and I'm glad it was! We had the first of what I'm sure will be many great evenings. Though small, we had a reservation for our group of 10 located at the back of the restaurant. Our waiter graciously and efficiently managed our drink and appetizer orders as everyone arrived over the course of 20 minutes. (Note: parking is on the street and it can be tricky to find a spot. Take the tram if possible. The wine card was small, but with solid choices I opted for the Dornfelder and my friend ordered the Grauburgunder, both of which were excellent. The bacon wrapped dates melted in my mouth! I ordered the Rocket Salad with grilled chicken and grilled mozzarella as my main dish, and it delivered. The salad was tossed with the right amount of a sweet sour dressing (not too soggy , cherry tomatoes and toasted pine nuts. The chicken was grilled to perfection, juicy and wonderfully seasoned. And what's not to love about a nice chunk of grilled cheese? The quality of the service cannot be overstated. I have had enough meals in Germany with indifferent (and worse waitstaff to appreciate the friendly countenance of all the staff, from the greetings upon arrival to the accommodation of special requests. I would highly recommend the Roter Hahn to anyone visiting Bremen. Located in the hip Steintor neighborhood close to the Werder Bremen football stadium, it's a pleasant locale to catch up with friends for a beer (or wine and a nice meal. Reservations recommended."
