"Massively disappointed with our visit to hucks 4th September 8ishpm, our first night arriving 2 kids2 adults. Lady standing at the desk was lovely and seat us and that is when it went downhill server couldn't be found for 90% of the time we dined, drinks came after the starters, we asked to mains away our food quite quick as kids started getting tired. Our server appeard and said he was confused as someone told him we wanted our mains.. not sure what the confusion is. Then again no waiter in sight when we wanted the kids deserts. We had to chase for the simplest of things such as cutlery and more drinks. Food was average, finally came to the bill and this was the first type on conversation the waiter tried to have with us small talk.. beware service charge is included on the bill but also asks if you want to leave it on the card machine don't let it catch you out. We didn't notice until we left we wanted ours taken off. Genuinely upset as we went with such High hopes! Save yourself money and time go to the Lake side in, beautiful staff, beautiful view, beautiful food and great prices! They are friendly to kids and make you feel welcome.
