"we ate here on recommendation and look at the menu that we expected, great things. we were shown by a sullen waitress at our outdoor terrace table. To be honest, the hof had seen better days, the table cloths were all sunned and. the overgrown trees had left leaves on the table. that was not removed. our French are not brilliant, but we are trying, but the waitress was obviously not satisfied and did not try to slow down and understand them. we ordered our appetizers and main courses and then asked for an order for dessert. we answered that we were not sure if we had dessert and could we order if we had eaten our meal. she said no, it would be too busy until then, so we had to order now or we could not have dessert! that seemed very unprofessional, so we then said no, we would not order dessert. we got a few stale toast and thunfischpate as a free appetiser. I had a very strange cheese carbread with dry veg for a starter, which I would not order again! husband and daughter had wrapped baked garne, which were in order, but nothing special. we received a lentil mouse beech that was best part of the meal. my daughter had a chicken main course she enjoyed, some had a fish main course, which was a really small part and I had ordered a steak. we had tried to order moyen medium, but waitress could not understand me as it came out, it was bleu and had to be sent back. when it came back a second time, it was okay, but again nothing special just ok. another waiter cleared our main course as the restaurant had a few tables at this time. he asked if we wanted to order dessert, but at that time we had enough that I said we hadn't devastated from the fellow. we have free caramelized nuts with the bill. I felt they were trying to be something with the extra free items, but not living with the actual eating and service. overall very disappointing and I would not recommend it."
