"We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at the restaurant. We enjoyed a pot of tea for two, which came with lovely teapot, sauces, and milk on the side. I ordered the jacket potato, which was served with a delicious salad and coleslaw. My husband opted for a sandwich, also served with salad and coleslaw. For dessert, we shared a freshly baked fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful."

"My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place was quite busy when we arrived, but the service was excellent. The cocktail we had was stunning, and the dessert was fantastic as well. The main dish was also lovely. The only issue was that my scallop had some chalky residue, likely from the grill. "When in for a family Sunday lunch and was very disappointed. The gravy was tomato soup. The potatoes was hard and under cooked. The parsinps was old and woody. The only good thing we had was the carrots and the Yorkshire pudding and the beef was tender. The chefs didn't like any criticism as we asked for one with out the tomato soup and we could hear him being rude as we setnt one back. We will not be going back at all!!! Food drinks: The gravy was tomato soup. The potatoes was hard and under cooked. The parsinps was old and woody. "Very disappointed with this cafe, staff were not very nice, cake was loaded with granulated sugar on top.. Coffee was cold and they came out and announced that the bill was £13.00 even before I had had a sip of my coffee. The bathroom has no light and i had to leave the door open to see!! My friend was told to leave the bathroom as it was for customers only! When he told the man we were customers he stomped off."
