"We found that quite a few restaurants were shut on a Tuesday evening so settled for a meal at Le Six because it was close to the hotel and the reviews not too bad. In reality we were pleasantly surprised. The interior deco is tasteful and “hard rock” style. The owner/manager (despite many previous reviews to the contrary) was pleasant and efficient, without necessarily being charming. The food was alright; a bit industrial but perfectly edible. It doesn’t claim to be fine dining and it certainly isn’t. In the absence of a better option, worth a try."

"c was our rdv for ferias for three years. "Very nice little restaurant! before we settled on the terrace we were warmly welcomed by employees, very smiling. One solution is a fries plate per child and a tuna steak shared in two. We take two menus of the day a beer a glass of wine and a coffee. The dishes are pretty good and the tuna is well cooked. Unfortunately, this remoteness makes us a little forgotten. "Une des plus belles brasseries gastronomiques du centre de Dax.Voilà un bel endroit où nous nous sommes bien restaurés malgré le nombre de clients et l'époque des fêtes de Dax.Le service est un petit peu désordonné au départ; mais on n'a pas le droit d'être méchant car les clients arrivent de partout, quasiment en même temps et forcément, les serveurs s'en trouvent quelque peu désemparés.Passé ce petit souci qui, somme toute reste presque dans la normalité des services dans la tradition des restaurants gastronomiques complets et en période de fêtes.Mais on est un peu exigeant au vu du cadre qui est très sympa et original et assez luxueux; c'est aéré, très clair et discret malgré la tablée d'à côté qui nous a entonné un hymne superbement interprété par ce qui ressemble à un bel ensemble de chanteurs basques;Et ceci sans supplément au menu; Les ris d'agneau en salade étaient excellents ainsi que le bar super goûteux servi sur un lit de rizotto. Le dessert aussi était excellent; 9 sur 10.J'ajoute que le service un peu difficile au départ a été bien repris par la suite et nous ne pouvons que féliciter le personnel pour sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur.Quant aux cuisiniers, nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de les rencontrer mais cette démarche leur est adressée également.Pour info, nous avons souhaité choisir notre table la veille malgré le restaurant complet; le garçon qui nous a accueilli n'a fait aucune difficulté pour nous offrir cette délicatesse.Voilà donc encore une adresse qui méritent nos félicitations et une recommandation sans modération; comme semble t-il beaucoup de commerçants dans cette ville à cette époque des fêtes.Comme qui dirait simplement et sans façon: encore une bonne adresse qui vaut le détour.Bon appétitDédé du patio de la somone"

"Des l'accueil, alors que plusieurs tables sont libres et que nous demandons à être placés au soleil, la serveuse nous installe à l'ombre sous un vent frais. Il nous faut attendre 45 minutes pour avoir enfin un rayon de soleil. Nous passons commande et apparement le diabolo fraise est plus compliqué à réaliser que le diabolo grenadine puisque la serveuse souffle lorsque nous insistons pour de la fraise. Les plats arrivent : alors que les ardoises en façade affichent "fait maison" les tagliatelles aux gambas sont des pâtes industrielles, les gambas arrivent entières et non décortiquées. Le plat est fade et froid. Les côtelettes d'agneau du plat du jour auraient elles aussi mérité d'être chaudes et plus nombreuses ainsi que les haricots verts en accompagnement simplement cuits... ils sont croquants... un point positif les frites, elles, sont faites maison. Pour le café gourmand au menu, le riz au lait est probablement de quelques jours car peu fondant, enfin la "micro" boule de glace vanille n'aurait même pas du être ajoutée sur la part de tarte au pommes.Presque 60€ pour 3 (sans vin) on ne pouvait pas s'attendre à de la haute gastronomie mais il y avait vraiment moyen de faire mieux. Sûrement que l'endroit bénéficie de sa localisation de choix sur la place des fontaines chaudes et n'a pas besoin de "fidéliser" le client."
