"Ambiente: nicht sehr ansprechend. Hat eher was von Imbiss. Da ist Luft nach oben. Was mir sehr gut gefallen hat ist, dass man sich den Schärfegrad aussuchen kann mit einer tollen Erläuterung. So kann man differenzieren was einem passt. Bei mir war es genau richtig. In anderen indischen Restaurants bekommt man meist vorab Papadam mit verschiedenen Dips solange man auf sein Essen wartet. War hier leider nicht der Fall und bis das Essen kam, hat es sehr lange gedauert. Das Essen war aber dafür sehr lecker und ausreichend."

"We were spontaneously in the Klosterschänke today. The man chose the restaurant and I must say it was a very good choice. There is a very nice beer garden and since the weather was still great today, we sat outside. It is also great that there is a small playground for the Kiddies. Our children weren't with us, but it's great anyway. We have always thought about coming to Sunday brunch. I'm going to dinner. The menu is small and fine and there are also seasonal dishes on an extra card. It is also very large that the allergens were shown at each court. So I was able to make my choice as a gluten allergy disease. I had the big salad with roasted salmon and feta, and the man had the carving with spices and fries. Everything was tasteful and delicious! Prices are moderate and very good. All in all a Kleinod in the middle of Dresden. We'll be back."

"My wife and I were cold, wet and tired of coloring Dresden and all Christmas markets. We wanted a restaurant near our hotel that we could get a good meal. This place was not disappointed. Although we were very crowded, we were lucky and sat right away. The service was fast and efficient, our beverage order was immediately taken and our meal order shortly after. The food came a short time later, although the place was pretty busy. The food was very good and all ingredients were amazingly fresh. We both had a great meal and went. The parts are large, so come with and appetite."

"we were greeted with a bonjour, perhaps he knew we were coming out of the south but net so far;-). we were served friendly and fast. the food was very delicious. we had a vitello tonnato as an appetizer. very delicious and very well dressed. fresh walnut bread with oil was served and pasta with cheese and tagliatelle with bark stiff. the drinks prices I found a little too high.We had previously searched at trip advisor and are happy about it.The food was very delicious and like to come back."

"Our daughter had found this online and although it was a very long walk from the other side of the river, it was a nice walk and in the end it was worth it. We were a little worried when we arrived and we’re the...only ones in the restaurant at on Wednesday afternoon. While we were there a few more customers arrived so it had a little atmosphere. Additionally we had preferred to sit outside as it was a nice sunny day but I believe it is closed for the winter months. The english menu helped immensely, and the service was fine. As it says on the menu they make everything while you wait, so a little patience is key. All three of us enjoyed our meals and I have to say the Russian soup for the price was the stand out. It was excellent. There are many other interesting choices on the menu so finding something is easy. Would return again."

"I have been a regular guest of this restaurant and beer garden over years. After living abroad for years, I came back recently and experienced good quality food in the beer garden. Tonight, we were guests in the restaurant and it was a...disappointing evening. It started with a waiter lacking motivation and compassion; it took long time to order drinks, no polite interaction with us throughout the evening. Both of us had dishes from the day's special menu, one was okay. The other Pastaspitzen tasted like it had been deep frozen and burnt in the pan, the pasta's filling was lacking salt and the dressing was overdone with marjoram?. Most of the times, I have had dishes from their regular menu, maybe they are of higher quality. This experience was disappointing I will continue using the beer garden but I am not interested in going into the restaurant sooner or later"

"we were at the brunch in the coffee hellerau. the new owner makes great efforts to fulfill all wishes of the guests. the brunch meat was not very large, but everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. It was especially great that, on request, any kind of ruffle, mirror or similar was freshly prepared by the cook. also as a main dish, in addition to the offer at the büfett, a freshly fried fish could be ordered.Everything in all, the team was still very inexperienced and insecure. This was made up with attention and ease of use.It would be nice if not only the coffee on the table, but also a drink for the non-coffee drinkers were included in the price for brunch. if you put hot water and tea to the bufat, then you can use yourself there.Many success the new owner. we're pushing the way that you're going on."

"Hier bekommt man für den günstigen Preis richtig was auf den Teller und das was da drauf kommt schmeckt auch richtig gut. Das Restaurant ist etwas ab vom Schuss, aber auch zu unüblichen Essenszeiten gut besucht. Falls man eine Pension in der Nähe für seine Sightseeingtour in Dresden gebucht hat, sollte man auf das Abendessen in der Innenstadt verzichten und lieber hier zu diesem Geheimtipp kommen. Reservieren aber nicht vergessen."

"Im Herzen der Neustadt gelegen hält der kleine Laden, obwohl es sich hier um die Kategorie Fast Food handelt die Fahne in Sachen Frische und Qualität ganz weit hoch und das darf er auch weil es an der Umsetzung eben nicht scheitert.Es gibt 4-5 verschiedene "Sandwich-Burger" die einfach gehalten sind aber dennoch überzeugen. Das Fleisch beim Sachsen Rind Sandwich (mein Favorit) wird frisch auf den Grill gelegt und so muss das natürlich auch sein...Ausser man is(s)t in Dresden. Meist sucht man hier vergebens nach Läden die Ihre Pattis für Burger frisch zubereiten und bekommt nur den Tiefkühl Mist serviert...Hier ist das nicht der Fall. Ich möchte jetzt auch keine Vergleiche mit Burgerläden ziehn da es sich beim Kings Bread doch mehr um ein Sandwich Laden handelt. Ich finde es aber nur fair zu erwähnen das hier nahezu alles Handmade ist...In anderen Großstädten längst Standard, humpelt Dresden kulinarisch gesehen wieder schön hinterher. Umso besser dass es Macher gibt!!!Das Brot ist ein Gedicht und macht die ganze Combo aus frischen Zutaten erst richtig rund. Gut Ding braucht Weile...Wer denkt dass er sein Essen innerhalb von 5 min. vor sich hat, ist hier am falschen Platz und sollte lieber zu einen der Tiefkühl Patti Bratenden Dünnbrett-Bohrer 2-3 Türen oder Straßen weiter gehen. Aber keine Angst in unter 10 min. ist auch hier dein Essen fertig.Fazit: Wer es frisch, überwiegend regional und mal etwas anders mag ist hier genau richtig. Die Preise sind mehr als fair und den einzigen Kritikpunkt den man verteilen kann ist, dass es beim Chef selbst am besten schmeckt und ok, eigentlich nur aussieht. Ein Sandwich des Monats wäre ne coole Nummer um mich noch regelmäßiger in den Laden zu locken."

"Wir kamen hier herein, weil unser Lieblingsgrieche gegenüber noch geschlossen hatte. Wir aßen gebratenen Reis mit Ente. Die Ente war leider recht trocken, der Reis ok, das untergemischte Gemüse auch ok. Die Portion war sehr groß, ich vermisste allerdings etwas Restaurantflair. Keine Deko auf dem Essen, nur schnell aufgewärmt, es fehlte das gewisse Etwas. Schade."

"My brother and his girlfriend recommended this restaurant and we were very ready. There is a menu for only vegetarian and vegan dishes and a menu with meat dishes. This makes food search much easier because I want to eat vegan in particular. I found that there are vegan ducks, chickens and shrimps. The duck has a super consistency, naturally does not taste exactly according to the original, but the brain can be deceived by the eye. I found it upstairs. The vegan chicken I once tasted it really tastes very similar chicken. I also celebrated the vegan summer rolls with peanut sauce! A poem! The service was very friendly, the prices are reasonable. "We reserved this table months ago. Since I already knew the restaurant, I asked for a table in the small adjoining room. The reason for this was that last time the three of us were squeezed onto a small table in the niche, even though the restaurant was as good as empty when we left. Despite this request, we were assigned a table in the garden. At least I would have liked to have been asked if I would like that. The rest of the place was again empty. The ambience in the garden by no means corresponds to the level to which the restaurant claims. Thank goodness I didn't have to go to the toilet. I still have a terrible memory of this from my last visit. Even at the beginning of the spiral staircase you can smell that it is going into the cellar. Once at the bottom you made a journey through time. Everything is clean but very old with the charm of a motorway toilet from the fifties. Oh horror. We will consider very carefully whether we should visit the restaurant again"

"Eine schöne Überraschung :)Das Negative vorweg, Parkplätze sind rar gesät und der Service verbesserungswürdig.Beim ersten Besuch saß ich ca. 10 Minuten ggü. der Theke, bis man sich bequemte die Unterhaltung zu unterbrechen und dem Gast mal die Karte zu bringen.Beim zweiten Besuch stand der Chef oben auf der Treppe und sah zu, wie sich meine gehbehinderte Mutter und meine Tante erst übers Kopfsteinpflaster und dann die Treppe raufquälten, warum auch helfen?..........(Ich habe selber ein Rückenleiden und konnte nicht zupacken).Jetzt die Guten Sachen:Essen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Nichts für kalorienbewusste Esser.Habe den Fehler gemacht, sowohl bei der Vorspeise, wie beim Hauptgang was Überbackenes zu bestellen.......autsch, selbst schuld.Auch wenn ich ihn pur nicht trinken mag, die Metaxa-Soße war prima, sehr aromatisch, aber auch sehr gehaltvoll.Danach geht kein Dessert mehr.Große Portionen in guter Qualität und das erstaunlich günstig :)Im nächsten Jahr gehe ich hier öfters hin.Ach ja, am WE unbedingt reservieren."
