"We arrived with our family of nine around 6 PM and were thrilled to get a table right away, despite the place being packed. Linda (Helen's mom) had the mushroom and goat cheese risotto, accompanied by a generous piece of homemade garlic bread and a delightful salad, all for just £12.95. Max ordered the cod and salmon fishcakes with tender new carrots, creamy spinach, and fresh parsley sauce for £13.95. It must have been delicious, as he ended up sharing his chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding with the kids!
The service was excellent, and the food was beautifully presented, well-cooked, and served in generous portions. We enjoyed some lovely chilled wine during our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Next time, I want to try the bouillabaisse, duck in Grand Marnier sauce, and the pulled Welsh lamb tagine, not to mention the prawn pil and salt and pepper squid as starters.
