"We had our wedding reception at the oakesmere on 24-10-20 and couldn’t fault it. The communication was top notch and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us our needs and made sure our wedding was “perfect”. Nothing was too much trouble !We had an afternoon tea which was delicious and our own beautiful room to enjoy for the day evening. We stayed in an AMAZING suite for our first night as Mr and Mrs. We can’t wait to return for our BIG wedding party in 2021. A special thank you goes to Charmaine, Charles and Emma for their support through out X"

"I went out with my Uncle for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised to find this lovely caféye which was excellent in every sense. Waitress service was friendly, and varied options for lunch. Food was excellent standard and atmosphere felt relaxed. I'd recommend and go there again myself! "This is our first time back from London after nearly 30 years and this pub has always had a tradition of excellent food and customer service. We were not disappointed in the least, the staff and publicans were extremely friendly, the food was absolutely superb and the village is well worth a visit. my steak was the best I’ve had in a very long time and my wife’s Home homemade burger was the best she has had in very many years."
