"We have twice tried to go here to have a bite to eat. The first time they appeared to be busy and we were shown to a small table in between other diners when there were plenty of empty tables. We did not eat here. The second time on the Sunday just gone again we walked in without a reservation seeing we were in the area. The restaurant had a few tables that were occupied and was not busy. The waiter said that they were fully booked and then covered the booking page in the diary with his arm! Needless to say we will never be back nor will we recommend this establishment to our international visitors and friends. Surely staff should be trained better and have more tact!"

"Korean vibes! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very cozy As starters we had Kimchi Jeon and Kimchi Jjigae. Kimchi Jeon (Kimchi Pancake) 9/10 I liked it, right consistency with crispy outside and soft inside. I didn't like Kimchi Jjigae (kimchi soup) 6.8/10, so somehow the meat smelled very strongly and the taste took over from the supper, not like the Kimchi Jjigae I've eaten before, not even like in Korea. For the main course we had Bulgogi Dojae and Ojengeo Bokkum. Bulgogi Dojae (spicy pork) 9/10 was very tasty! with lots of meat, vegetables and rice noodles on the side, it might be a bit too spicy for people who can't eat spicy food. Ojengeo Bokkum (spicy squid) 8.5/10 was hotter than the meat, but I also found it tasty. It also has particularly purple rice 7/10 but it was too hard for me, so it could be softer. Galbi Jjim 8.5/10 very good portion, taste great. Banchan (side dishes) are free refills, that was an extra point We had mango juice for drinks, which also tasted good. Overall, we enjoyed everything and would like to go again, and above all it is recommended!"

"I come here with friends about 4 or 5 times a year and have never had a bad experience! WE come mostly for the tapas and the atmosphere. It is rather small and fills up quickly so calling ahead for reservations is not a bad idea! The quality of the food has always been rather exceptional and the staff friendly and helpful. Live entertainment can often be found in the form of a guitarist singing Spanish songs. You can sit outside and take in Bockenhem pedestrian traffic. Great small venue to spend time with good friends and enjoy a nice meal. BTW, my Spanish friends are the ones who took me here initially!"

"after 25 years at the book fair I thought I had tried every Italian restaurant in frankfurt. but that was the sound of the mess! charming atmosphere: the formality white tablecloth meets the wallwork of a relaxed wine cellar. the food was breathtakingly fresh, with dishes from northern and central Italy predominant: the angel hair pasta with truffles (a seasonal charities in frankfurt) was a hit with all - with the addition of wild sage, felt much less sweet than otherwise. the desserts, all from the Italian standard canon (tiramisu, panacotta), were all homemade with unique personality. bestnots for the service in a restaurant that is characterized by large groups of relaxed businessmen. the approach of the family team really had the right note, the wein service was both correct and unpretentious, and there was no feeling from which door to be taken when we closed the locally far after midnight. definitiw a guard for the annual tours"

"I reserved a table almost 2 months ago. On the day of the reservation I received a call and confirmation that the reservation was made, but that in the evening we would be seated at the bar and we would get a drink there until our table was free, which was promised to us on the phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, our jackets were taken away by an unfriendly gentleman and we were seated directly at the counter. We were told that as soon as one table became available we would be seated. We didn't think anything of it and just started ordering. After our first drinks we noticed that a table behind us had become free. When the first waitress came (a slightly older lady) we asked what was wrong with the table. She only replies that the table was reserved and the next one would be for us. So two regular guests came in and sat down directly at the table. When our starter came, we asked the waiter that it didn't look so good that we would get a table. She just answered yes and left. When me and my girlfriend just looked at each other and wondered if that really just happened. After this incident, I noticed how people were talking about us behind the bar. After that moment I wanted to leave but didn't want to ruin my friend's evening. When the next drinks came, we noticed that the old waitress was no longer serving us but had swapped places with another colleague. The new waitress (younger lady) was very friendly and tried to save the evening somehow. The food was excellent but the service was disastrous. I don't know if it was because of my last name but it had nothing to do with home."

"Unbelievable unfriendly service. Although we had reserved, our place was not free, so we were complimated outside in winter temperatures, where at least 20 people shared the same fate. Now it can happen that the table is not free on time. But that you have to wait 5 minutes until someone tells a waiter that you have a bottleneck is already a strong piece. The fact that one is pushed by annoyed waiters is a trinity. That you do not get a drink outside the door or any nice word as an excuse, fits into the picture. If the restaurant was a prison, everything would have been OK. But as it wants to be a restaurant, I can only guess to make a very wide arc around this place. You can spend your money much better in Frankfurt."

"An absolute must for Argentine meat in a cosy ambience. The restaurant feels like a living room, warm, stylish and charming. The service makes a super job and the kitchen is first class! "We were visiting the restaurant recently and honestly I cannot follow the previous good reviews. :( So where should I start, maybe service- there's no one. If you asked for a fresh pressed orange juice you expect to get one or none, if it is not available but not some PET juice. And after refusing to take it same juice but with smashed orange in it!!!Next food, If you order linguine with truffle you want to get one and not Spagetti. So next duck - how you can ruin the duck meat and turn it in some dry peace of paper.?!!! And 'gran finale' - the check...of course it had both juices PET one and Pseudo fresh pressed one. I rest my case :) don't be fooled by some evil cheaters :)"

"Also in the lockdown good carving with delicious roast potatoes and green sauce! Schnitzel and Bratkartoffeln are quickly faded when they get cold, so the beechwood was thought up here and cuts and sauces are well packed separately. Panade was still very crispy, the carving was tender and juicy, the potatoes were beautifully roasted brown and not too greasy, and the green sauce fresh and creamy. Must be a bit more sauce for my taste, but otherwise everything is great and highly recommended. And for 11,50 for quality also really cheap. Support"

"Delicious evening meal as I settled in to my room at the near by Westin Hotel grand. So thankful that Zeil Kitchen is just a short walk away. Went there myself on saturday night about and they were packed (fully booked it seemed) but...I decided just to sit at the bar and order take out. The Beyond sausage pepper flavor sauce with fries was a simple and yet delicious meal. Also got a vegan cheesecake slice to go. Everything cost me just and there was two fully sausages in there! WOW"

"Die Einrichtung ist etwas in den 80er Jahren stehen geblieben aber das tut dem ganzen keinen Abbruch.Das Essen war okay aber meiner Meinung nach nicht der beste Italiener in Frankfurt. Die Pizza war gut aber nicht überragend. Meine Pasta war sehr gut aber die Portion doch selbst für eine Frau eher übersichtlich und für 12,50 recht happig.Was uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt hat, war der Nachtisch. Das Tiramisu war unserer Meinung nach ein fertig Produkt. Die Zabaione hat einfach nur nach Wein und Zucker geschmeckt. Da wir schon beim Wein sind, dieser hat uns auch nicht so richtig zugesagt. Ich glaube es war ein weißer Hauswein.Leider hat dieser Laden für uns keinen Anreiz, eines erneuten Besuches dargestellt."

Andere Gäste, die nach mir kamen, wurden bedient und konnten ihr Essen genießen, während ich noch auf meine Bestellung wartete. Da ich eine lange Heimreise vor mir hatte, musste ich leider ohne mein Essen gehen. Dieses Erlebnis war enttäuschend und ich habe mich als Gast ignoriert gefühlt. Es ist inakzeptabel, dass Gäste auf diese Weise behandelt werden. Ich habe mich hungrig auf dem Weg gemacht. Hatte noch 3 Stunden Fahrt. Bin sehr sehr sehr enttäuscht."

"the two owners are funny. there are 2-3 vegan options. among them a rice dish and a package. the mango letie can also be made with mandelmilch. the super waffeln are unfortunately not vegan. that's a bit bad because the last smells like wagging. the waiter is super nice, but always sweat over vegan eating. it is therefore offered, but not supported. the terrace is very beautiful in summer. I always like to come. in the rice dishes the best fits the lens rim and the aubergine cream. take the package absolutely against price leindal, otherwise it is too dry without cheese."

"my wife and I used this restaurant with a groupon voucher as part of my birthday gift for a 3-course menu. future friendly and only about a third full. the waiter has pointed out, however, that the ordered main course of angus steak was not accepted due to non-delivery and change main course of 1xkalbsteak and 1xrumpsteak (medium). after further lenthy waiting served main course. kalbsteak was in order, but the rumpsteak was much too thick like a filet cut and was completely well done cutting and eating hard work! due to the fact that it was near 2 hours to consume a 3 curs meal, the waiter was asked to serve the dessert, a coffee and produce the bill. dessert was in order, but coffee more or less tasteless, which surprised me for an Italian restaurant! due to 2 hours now and restaurant ca. 50 it was quite clear that with 2 service staff this place completely underinfluenced meaning little attention to the guests requirements, i.e. used teller far to long before the gasses after the cure ended and in general, if you do not signal the service personnel for the attention very little. more employees and attention should be paid to the guests. or are Groupon users treated otherwise? all in all a little dissapointing as we had expected more."

"Wenn man Pizza will, geht man häufig vorschnell zur Pizzeria nebenan - spoiler alert: Das ist eine große Fehlentscheidung. Das macht man aber auch nur so lang, bis man mal bei Mario&Lino war und merkt, dass die Zutaten frischer und besser und die Leute netter sind. Zudem sind die Speisen aufwändiger zubereitet.Insgesamt einfach hervorragend, sowohl als take-away als auch zum dort speisen. Ich jedenfalls konnte bislang jede/n Begleiter/in überzeugen und wurde selbst noch nie enttäuscht.Die sind irgendwie tatsächlich immer gut gelaunt. Keine Ahnung wieso, aber das macht die Stimmung im Laden gut. Schaut euch mal die Tageskarte an - die normalen Gerichte sind schon sehr gut, aber die Tageskarte hat manchmal unglaublich leckere Gerichte. Und ja, dann sind auch die 8-11€ für die Pizza jeden Cent wert.Also, insb für Pizza: vergesst die Studentenpizza im Cimino, und holt euch was ordentliches, nämlich hier."
