"Wenn man einen Eintrag mit dem Titel "Das Beste" schreiben möchte und das schon vergeben ist, sagt das wohl schon alles aus. Zabala ist für uns "Urlaub" vom Alltag. Hier können wir alles um uns herum vergessen und nur genießen. Das Essen, der Wein, der Kaffee und Espresso (ebenfalls der Beste der Stadt), die Bewirtung, das Ambiente ist Ausgezeichnet. Bitte lassen Sie sich weder die Tapas (die gibt es nirgend's Besser) sowie auch die Themenabende "Noche von Amigos" (Ecuador trifft Deutschland, Spargeltime, Tartufo die Alba u.v.m) nicht entgehen. Die Themenabende sind immer etwas ganz spezielles und auf der Homepage frühzeitig eingestellt. Das Vertrauen in die Kochkünste der Köchin ist so groß, das ich heute sehr vieles esse, das ich früher nicht mochte. Hier traut man sich, auch mal etwas Neues zu probieren und ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht.Kurzum: Wir wohnen knapp seit 2 Jahren in Frechen und Zabala gehört zu unserem Leben dazu :)"

"Don 't order there! Most reviews are fake and everything bad is removed, including my last one. I still have a photo of the that 's no fun a rotten burger that was delivered to me for €15 and had the same smell as my organic waste bin on the doorstep. If I had eaten that, I would definitely have to go to the hospital. The conditions in this restaurant must be catastrophic. For me that was the first and last order there. "Apparently there was a change of ownership.After eating there for years, there were new waiters and new cards. The food is still good, only Cevapcici are almost raw, and in the end you get an intermediate bill instead of an invoice.The intermediate bill can then be quickly cancelled in cash after em payment. This obvious tax evasion for every guest is stupid and not worthy of a serious high-priced restaurant."

"Very nice self-confident prices in a city where apparently 3/4 of the population of Hartz 4 live and spend the evenings on the park bench. Nevertheless, the restaurant is robust during the week. "Visits tonight after a long journey from Britain to Cologne (on the way to Austria). After reviewing the previous reviews, we decided that it was worth a try and we were not disappointed. We had a nice waitress who spoke to us in English and helped us... to order. The food was delicious and the portions massive (also the portions of the children). The waitress was patient with our son when he tried to speak in German and congratulate him on his efforts. A fantastic evening all around and a great start on our holiday."

"We (4 adults and two children) were here for the first time today! It was very cozy! We would get very friendly and also quickly get the drinks and the card. The food was very good, but I would like more choice! The waitress was super friendly and was also great for the kids! There were no extra children's dishes on the menu. That was not a problem because the waitress immediately said that something is done for the little ones! The prices had risen, but all right. Overall it was a beautiful and successful evening!"

"Waren zum erstmal dort unter der Woche Mittags. Schöne griechische Musik mit mediterranem Flair und sehr netter Bedienung. Beim Bestellen wurden wir darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass bei überbackenen Gyros keine Pommes bei sind. Das fanden wir hilfreich und wir haben diese zusätzlich geordert. Zum Grillteller hatten wir noch Tzaziki bestellt, der richtig gut geschmeckt hat. Pommes waren sehr gut, Salat war kalt und erfrischend und wir hatten auch am Fleisch nichts zu bemängeln. Den Rest von den Gyros hatten wir uns einpacken lassen, da die Hälfte übrig war. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen."

"The steaks and actually everything from meat is highly recommended here. This Argentine restaurant is proud of its great grilled food and right! We never did a bad experience with one of the steaks we ordered here. Prices are a bit...high, but worth it, as the service is very friendly and professional and the environment is very cozy, as well as inside and outside. The complementary dives with freshly baked baguettes that they offer are also delicious. If you are in Cologne or just in Frechen, you should come here and enjoy a nice evening with great food. The only reason I did not borrow 5 stars is that the secondary dishes (Mushroom Heads, Veggies from the Grill etc.). come in very small portions, are bit expensive and overall not so good. But hey, who goes to La Cabana for the secondary courts: It's about the steaks here!!!"

"Wir waren nun zum zweiten Male hier und dieses Mal wurde unser erster positiver Eindruck noch einmal übertroffen. Für uns hat hier alles gestimmt - sehr angenehme, gediegene Atmosphäre; ein Hausherr, der sehr freundlich, feinfühlig und fachkundig berät; wenige, aber dafür exzellente Gerichte, die sehr individuell gestaltet und zusammengestellt werden können; eine Auswahl toller Weine. - Schon der Gruß aus der Küche war vielversprechend - gefüllte Pasta mit Spargel auf Tomatensoße mit Parmesan. Die Babycalamares mit einer sehr pikanten Soße als Vorspeise waren ein Gedicht. Die Tagliorini mit Trüffel bzw. die Kalbsnieren a la Chef waren ein geniales Geschackserlebnis. Eine feine Käseauswahl rundete das Ganze ab. Die von dem Hausherrn empfohlenen, begleitenden Weine passten hervorragend und vollendeten den Genuß. - Wir sind begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder !"

"Great authentic restaurant. The journey worth Koln. Very friendly, even by chef Alain. The atmosphere was authentic and warm. Felt at home. The food was super, nothing culinary, but amazing classic German-Belgian food. Also, prices are very reasonable, especially given the... much qualitative and delicious food. I'd come back 100%. "Wir sind auf die schnelle hier rein und haben einen Imbiss zu uns genommen. Der Mitarbeiter war aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich hatte Suppe und musste mir (wie jeder andere Gast auch) die toppings an der Theke selber in meine Suppe löffeln. Einerseits gut anderseits wollte ich nicht Löffel anfassen die von wem auch immer angefasst wurden... Sowas mag ich nirgendwo.. ich finde das sollte das Personal übernehmen. Geschmacklich konnte ich ohne alles nicht ganz auf meine Kosten kommen... fand es aber noch lecker. Laden ist sauber und und nett eingerichtet. Ein Hauch Orientduft liegt in der Luft. Hier gibt es ein 'Schau-Holzgrill ' was wir echt super toll fanden und würden das nächste mal mit mehr Zeit für andere Variationen aus der Speisekarte reinkommen. Die Preise finden wir angenehm. Eingang ebenerdig."

I'm programmed on green. there is a small street with seating. the menu promises unknown, except a very tempting salate. bioelsa so hot are red and earlylings salad with red beet, china cabbage and all kinds of unknown vegan objects as well as fresh pineapple and Greek cheese (reference price: 9.50 eur) enthuses me. there are fresh homemade broth and the friendly smile of the diocese owner and the young service. the perfect apple choir made of own apple juice and low-carbon water reconciles me with the sky h2co3 with the world. Bio elsa is probably greek and intelligent, diligent, hypercorrect and very busy! more so greedy, here can learn something! N.B grandiose saturation factor! N.B.2: In addition to the opening times, there are the cooking times: from 12 to 22 hours."

"Unfortunately, yesterday's waiter was grottenschlecht and does not accept any criticism. "Der McDonalds liegt in einem Industriegebiet, wo ich fußläufig in einem Hotel untergebracht war. Der McDonalds ist vergleichbar mit zahlreichen anderen. Er ist sauber, das Essen schmeckt genau so wie ich es erwartet habe und das Personal ist freundlich. Ich hatte den Eindruck bei meinen mehreren Besuchen, dass es bei der Essensausgabe etwas gemütlicher zugeht, als in anderen McDonalds. Was die Sauberkeit angeht, ist der Boden etwas eingeschränkt zu sehen. Der ist eher klebrig. Ein Schwachpunkt ist der Händetrockner auf der Toilette. Das ist ein Gerät, das mit Orkanstärke Warmluft rausbläst. Der Effekt ist, dass es das Wasser von den feuchten Händen zum einen die Hemdsärmel hochtreibt und zum anderen gegen die Hose bläst. Das ist nicht sehr geschickt gelöst."

"Wir waren zu dritt. Und es sollte ein richtig schöner Abend werden. Mit Vorspeisen haben wir 170 € gezahlt ! wir haben keine Flasche Wein gehabt und kein Dessert. Die Mädchen, die uns bedient haben, haben sich zwar Mühe gegeben, aber hatten kein Fachwissen und mussten in der Küche immer nachfragen. zur Weihnachtszeit stelle ich mir den Tisch schon ein bisschen festlich Blümchen vor. stattdessen hatten wir Papierservierten und verbogene Gabeln. die Gans hatte keine krosse Haut. kein Bratapfel, kein Rosenkohl. Die Hirsch Roulade war so klein, dass man leider nicht satt geworden ist. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht."
