"It is very important to say at the outset that this is a hard-working local business with, obviously, very loyal local clientele. From the moment we entered, there were a steady stream of friendly and very happy clients in a very busy restaurant. The Greek...staff could have treated us like the pass-through tourists that we were but made a real effort to ensure we were happy. The food is nothing special, absolutely fine. It is Greek standards served in Bavarian-sized portions. Don't order too much or go hungry! I would not necessarily remember this as either a good or a bad meal for the food, it was more like the experience of going to a local curry house in the north of England or a Moroccan place in Marseille. It is a solid and permanent part of the community and you get a sense of that place by going there. The food is simply average but enhanced by the overall atmosphere and friendly spirit."

"Lage an sich schön, draußen im Freien an der Hauptstraße in Garching gelegen. Geräuschpegel gut. Wir wollten eigentlich Fußball schauen, gab aber draußen keine Möglichkeit, wohingegen es bei sämtlichen anderen Lokalen, an den wir auf dem Weg vorbeikamen laut entgegenschallte. Das Essen war innerhalb von <10min da. Wir hatten mehrere Wurstsalate, die von der Portionsgröße eher kleiner waren, allerdings auch nur 12/13€ kosteten. Da war das P-/L-Verhältnis auch in Ordnung. Wir hatten noch einen Backhendl-Salat, der ein Witz war. Für 18€ gab es einfach einen kompletten Salatkopf am Stück mit etwas Dressing und drum herum 6 panierte Fleischstücke. Das war leider ein Witz und komplett daneben. Maßlos überteuert und das Angerichtete bzw. die „Vielfalt“ des Salats war echt nicht gut. Der Service hat das konstruktive Feedback zum Essen positiv aufgenommen und es in die Küche gegeben, das war gut."

"Nach einem viertägigen Aufenthalt im Frankfurt kamen wir nach München zurück. Auf der Suche nach einem Gasthaus auf der Route nach München hatten wir MY Wirtshaus entdeckt. Wir, meine Söhne und ich, gingen dort zum Essen. Vorspeise Leberspätzlesuppe und Cordonbleu. Wir wurden sofort freundlich bedient. Die Suppe war heiß und der Geschmack der Leberspätzle, als auch der der Suppe war hervorragend,. Das Fleisch des Cordonbleu war weich und sehr gut im Geschmack!! Dazu bestellte ich mir einen gemischten Salat . Dieser war herrvorragend mit einer Marinande angemacht. Mein Fazit: Das Essen und die Bedienung 6 Sterne!! Sensationell!! Wir kommen wieder!!"

"1. The property is centrally located in Garching. You can sit outside like inside. Provides a lot of space and is decorated in Indian style. Very nice. 2. The staff was very accommodating and also appeared at the table without request to carry out his work conscientiously. 3. The food is very delicious. I was very surprised by my appetizer ( chicken plus chickpeas). Something sharp but recommended. Beer wasn't the hammer. Portions are lush and the prices are fine."

"My usual Greek restaurant in Ismaning was closed, so I looked for the anoother and my GPS took me to Poseidon in Garching. Struggled with parking, it was about 19.00 and the main street was busy. Found the personnel courteous but a bit pushy. Good...Greek salad with superb red onions which were actually quite sweet and easy to digest. Double portion of Ndolmades with avgolemono sauce. Vines leaves filling was good (rice meat). 2,5 dl retsina and a glass of still water. Price 26,50€ reasonable. Of course usual glass of Ouzo was on the house, as well as a small dessert which I politely refused. Gave the waiter 30€ and he just kept it, making no effort to give me some change which I would most probably given as a good tip. The problem is that I was served by 4-5 different persons and wasn’t sure which one of them deserved the tip! Sorry guys, but if not for this episode, I would have come back some time. Take some change or pay by credit card to avoid a similar experience. Apart from this, the place looked very good."

"the burgers were not good. the bread was hard and dry, the patty was also. barely salat or sauce on it and that for 14 euro up! pommes or other supplements cost extra. service neither particularly attentive nor friendly. supplemented by the answer of the owner: we were not at halloween with them and a burger with pommes costs very well 14 euro upwards! sauces cost extra, even a supplement change they calculate at 1.50€. they can also read this in their own menu. our rating has nothing to do with diffamation. it only reflects our personal experience in their guesthouse."

"We stop often at this Gaststätte on the way back to Munich when using the alternative road to the highway. It’s a very good restaurant offering true Bavarian food in a very clean and neat ambience. Meat is simply exceptional, very likely they use their...own Metzgerei or a local one not far from then. Veal is incredibly tender and the Wiener schnitzel a joy for the palate. Cordon blue cooked to perfection and Spätzle absolutely gorgeous. Prices a bit over average but the quality justify them. Of course beer is great and to note that Spezi served there is made with Afri Cola which gives a even more refreshing taste to the drink. When in Garching stop there and get some good food and refreshing."

"My friend and I were there today and enjoyed the lunch buffet. Shortly after entering we were led into a quiet, delimited area. After a short introduction and ordering of the drinks we were allowed to explore the buffet. An extremely large and impressive selection awaited us with various delicacies. Everything was lovingly draped in an appealing atmosphere. When returning to the seat, the drinks were ready for us. The background music was very relaxing. All in all, this restaurant is more than recommended. Great food in a wonderful atmosphere. There are no wishes left."

"Food was really good. the waiter/ waitress really BAD !! Went there a couple of times now and every time the same story .. once i wanted to use the toilet and asked the waiters where i can find, instead of guiding me, she kept...saying, you have to pay for it .. with her meager understanding of english , i had to repeat times that i am willing to pay just show the damn toilets ... another time we ordered, ate and at the end there was some small portion of rice leftover, I asked the waiter to pack it instead of throwing it away, he packed it and charged me for it !! the waiters DO NOT know how to receive guests, take orders, or be polite !! who hires such PPL ... the food was good though every time"

"Wir waren bisher ein paar mal bei diesem Italiener. Er hat einige ganz gute Nudelgerichte, bei anderen waren wir enttaeuscht. Pasta mit Meeresfruechten hatten wir bereits zweimal und die hat beide male gestimmt. Bei den Pizzen haben wir ebenfalls gute und schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Neulich hatten wir Pizza Siciliana, bei der wir enttaeuscht waren, da die meisten Stuecke der Pizza keine Sardellen drauf hatten. Insgesamt empfehlenswerter Italiener, aber vielleicht muss man wissen, was man bestellt. Mehr Freundlichkeit des Personals wäre wuenschenswert."

"I was visiting a friend in Garching and he suggested we go here for lunch. It's his favourite pizza place in Garching and he was right : I did not find this business in Yelp so, I have added it since. A great cafe, Italian, wood fired pizza and Eis place. They have a few tables outdoors and the service is very friendly and polite. They have a great pizza menu and it's very reasonable. For under €8 you can get a nice pizza during lunch time. I had one of their special pizzas that came with onion, ham, salami and mushrooms and it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, the toppings were nice and the tomato sauce on the base was delicious. They also serve good coffee here and a variety of drinks. The Eis looked good but did not try it. A really nice place to go for lunch or dinner. It started to fill up shortly after we arrived. I assume it is popular with the locals. I would happily come back here for pizza and an expresso :"
