"who would have thought that there is a very nice, small Italian restaurant in a gastronomic otherwise quite and even inconspicuous part of ottakrings (ecke Hasnerstrasse/Enenkelgasse). is less small the pizza you can hardly create alone! the menu is excellent for such a small local giant (too large)? and the quality of the food excellent. the prices are adapted to the contrary and therefore to be considered as extremely favorable comparison with other districts.Service is extremely lovable, fast and professional – simply wonderful!Not to forget the fact that the la valletta is a nice gastronomic garden – a tipp for hot summer evenings! ... and the local is not 5 minutes from the u3 station ottakring!"

"A beautiful city which is easily covered by foot within a few days however if you are planning to go to all the museums, maybe longer. It’s a busy tourist destination but breathtakingly beautiful. You MUST do a walking tour to appreciate the history of the city. I did 1 hours walking tour with Martina (daily English tour from the visitors center at 12.15) who condensed so much into the hour she was brilliant."

"Ein toller Italiener, mit ruhigem Sitzgarten und angenehmen Flair, versteckt sich in Wien Meidling, Nähe Schönbrunn. Die Pizza ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Durch ihren leichten, lockeren Teig und der sparsamen Verwendung von zusätzlichem Fett, ist sie sehr bekömmlich und figurfreundlicher als andere Pizzen. Wir hatten einmal eine Gemüsepizza, die mit frischen Zutaten und ohne zusätzlichem Öl zubereitet wurde. Die zweite Pizza war eine Quattro Formaggi mit Parmaschinken und obwohl diese Pizza eine sehr üppige ist, war sie nicht übertrieben belegt und deshalb fettärmer und leichter als andere Pizzen ihrer stattlichen Sorte. Geschmacklich waren beide top. Man konnte die einzelnen Zutaten gut herausschmecken und die Teige hatten die perfekte Konsistenz, sowie Dicke. Ein absoluter Pluspunkt ist, dass der Boden mit Spinatteig oder Vollkornteig gewählt werden kann. Beide Teigsorten schmecken hervorragend und sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir einen kleinen gemischten Salat, der eine tolle Größe hat und mit eigenem Hausdressing abgemacht wurde. Besonders gut gefiel uns, dass auf den Tellern „Tiziano“ mit Balsamicoreduktion geschrieben wird Ein nettes Highlight am Rande. Andere Gerichte haben wir dort (noch nicht probiert, werden dies aber sicherlich nachholen, da alle Gerichte, die an uns vorbeigehuscht sind, köstlich aussahen und toll angerichtet waren. Wahre Augenweiden ; Der Kellner ist ein lustiger und seriöser Typ, der schnell und freundlich gehobenen Service ausübt. Als Fazit kann man sagen: Diese Pizzen gehören definitiv zu den besten in Wien und jeder der Pizza liebt, sollte dem Tiziano einen Besuch abstatten. Durch dieses Gesamtpaket an positiven Eindrücken bekommt das Tiziano von uns 5 Sterne."

"Durch Empfehlungen sind wir auf dieses Restaurant gekommen und ich muss sagen es war auch wirklich gut. Man schmeckt, dass das Essen frisch zubereitet wird. Deshalb auch meiner Meinung nach top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich hatte eine Pho bestellt und Frühlingsrollen als Vorspeise. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht. "Es ist egal was ihr bestellt, es ist jedesmal das Gleiche... exzellente Qualität bei den Speisen. ; Spaß bei Seite, bisher war jedes Produkt vom Schnitzel über die Mozzarellasticks bis hin zu den Gemüselaibchen ein Genuss. Auch die Beilagen schmecken immer großartig. Auch wenn mal was in die Hose geht (z.B. im Stress das bestellte Cola vergessen wird , ist sofort der Kundenservice erster Ansprechpartner und super kulant. Esse seit Jahren regelmäßig hier bzw. bestelle es heim und bin eigentlich immer top zufrieden. Ja, es kommt vor dass in der größten Rushour (Sonntag Primetime die Auslastung so hoch ist, dass man bei 1/50 Bestellungen einmal eine Stunde wartet, aber für dass hat man bei der sonst raschen Lieferung normalerweise Verständnis, ich habe es jedenfalls."

"We tried this restaurant one evening as it was just around the corner from our hotel (The KK Vienna), but it turned out to be an expensive disappointment. The staff were very cheerful and friendly though we did feel a little rushed during our visit. I and another member of our group decided to share the mixed fish platter but when it arrived it looked a little disappointing as there seemed to be a larger than normal amount of deep fried brown items on the plate, most of which looked like they had probably just been taken from the freezer. Our main fish on the platter was a Black Bream which we have had and enjoyed many time before, however this time it was over cooked and very dry. You do not expect these prices in a restaurant like this which is located in the side street of a residential area where the view is of a car showroom. Sadly my recommendation for this restaurant has to be avoided."

"Wir saßen zu viert im Außenbereich des Restaurants. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Es gibt einen kleinen Spielplatz für Kinder. Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Der gebratene Lachs war sehr gut, die gewünschte Beilagen Änderung von Sauce Hollandaise und Kartoffeln auf einen gemischten Salat war kein Problem, allerdings wurde trotzdem der ursprüngliche Preis berechnet. Die Käsespätzle waren okay, die gebratenen Knödel auch, aber mit Rührei, was nicht auf der Karte stand. Der Brathendelsalat schwamm in Dressing und das Fleisch war paniert und zäh. Die Preise waren angemessen günstig."

"Oh my, I won 't be coming here again if I can help it. But I don 't want to start with the negative, so the positive first. There actually are many positives which makes it all the more a shame the negative wasn 't dealt with in a professional manner. The ambiance is lovely. The decor is lovely. The location is lovely, except for the total lack of light in the parking lot. That 's an accident waiting to happen. The Klee aperitif was very good and creative. The Klee lemonade was delightful with its watermelon taste. The gazpacho was delicious and fresh. The dessert, a chocolate casserole, was out of this world, though the passion fruit parfait accompanying it was too sour for my taste and my friend 's taste. Odd that the server didn 't even blink much less ask why both of us left the parfait untouched. But the main course was a Zumutung! It was downright insulting. For over 17 euros I got a few bites of pasta. It was barely enough for an amuse gueule! This was the small portion with the normal portion costing over 22 euros. But this wasn 't even a quarter of a normal meal. I couldn 't attract a server 's attention right away as they were very busy. When I did go up to one they told me I was wrong, the portion wasn 't unduly small, I ordered a small portion and that 's what I got. When a customer tells you after a 3 course meal which costs over 40 euros that the main course was so small they 're still hungry you DO something about it. When it was time to pay the server instructed me to tell him right at the main course next time. He said he couldn 't do anything now. Yes, it 's all my fault for not getting up in the middle of an important social event to personally flag down a busy server. And now that I 've committed the faux pas of telling them after the meal there 's nothing they can do. The can 't discount the price, they can 't give me a voucher for my next visit and they can 't even give me and my friends a round of Schnapps. No, they 're completely helpless due to the bad timing of my complaint. I 'm sorry, at these prices that kind of haughty attitude is completely unacceptable. Even at lower prices it would be inappropriate. I have never left a 3 course meal hungry before. The rest of the meal was good. It 's a pity they weren 't willing to make the slightest effort to make up for their meager main course."

"We've been on holiday in Vienna for a couple of days and decided to find a tapas bar for dinner.The restaurant is not far from the Mariahilfestrasse, it is reallly easy to get there.Anyway the food is absolutely delicious. We ate a lot of different tapas, and I can say all of them was great. To be honest my favourite tapa was the salmojero soup and the gambas.All in all this is a great place for everyone who love the spanish tapas culture for reasonable price. Worth trying!"

"Wir entdeckten Café Orient während eines Sonntagsspazierganges. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem neuen Café, um etwas zu trinken und waren sofort begeistert von dem süßen kleinen Lokal. An dem Nachmittag war dort wenig los - wir bestellten beide den orientalischem Kaffee mit Kardamom - köstlich...und sehr stark! Da das Essen auch sehr gut ausgesehen hat, nahmen wir uns fest vor, wieder einmal am Abend vorbeizukommen.Wir waren nicht enttäuscht. Das Menü ist zwar nicht groß - die Gerichte werden aber mit viel Liebe zubereitet, sind top präsentiert und schmecken wunderbar. Wir bestellten den Falafel-Teller mit Humus, Pita und grünem Salat. Die Falafel (frisch gemacht) hatten ein ungewöhnliches curry-artiges Geschmack und waren knusprig, ohne fettig zu sein. Der Salat war frisch und wir waren nach dem Essen satt und zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt vollkommen.Wir kommen definitiv wieder!"

"The buffet was extremely scarce, serving only 2 plates of grilled vegetables, some bread, hummus vegan spreads and jams, muesli, as well as two warm dishes. For the approximately 1,5 hours we were there, the buffet table was almost always EMPTY. The staff looked...like they were on vacation, not really caring about re filling the table or making any efforts to check on it. We stood at the buffet table for minutes, deciding what leftovers we could scrape from the plates before we head back to sit down. The buffet table literally stood for 20 30 minutes with the same cold, dry leftovers. The plates and cutlery were running out and we had to ask the staff to give us clean plates from the dishwasher (that is, after the waiter put down his phone). The food was nothing special. The brunch promises fresh waffles and pancakes. However, the restaurant has a concept of ' 'on pancake every half an hour ' '. The pancakes are made in the kitchen and every 30 mins, one pancake is brought out to the buffet table. Only one. While there are about 30 guests in the restaurant. When asking for a batch of pancakes, the waiter told us we cannot order separately. We have to wait until the pancakes are brought out to the table. Completely overpriced and terrible service 15 euros for nothing. Avoid by all means and go brunch elsewhere!"

"Owner/manager was an excellent host, the waitress was a bit short-tempered, what you expect from Vienna :D The food and the prices were excellent. "honestly, a great wood-fired pizza, comparable to mari or pq in wien. however, the service and the atmosphere were quite bad. first the place was full and despite the reservation we had to wait to get our table. the whole place is so. shortened, it is difficult to get on their table without five more guests on the way (so much for social distancing). everyone is incredibly close together. also, this is definitiw no Italian style place where they sit and enjoy their food and drinks for a few hours. we were constantly rushed by the waiter who came over every few minutes to see if we are a) ready to order, b) ready for them to take away our tellers and c) pay and go because there are other guests waiting to take our table. By default, her table is reserved for an hour for half, so that the rush is felt all around (competitors run, guests wait, everyone crawls and they feel like the personal they just want to go). also the aperol splash is 60% ice. this place did not live up to its hype, but the disco ofen is a plus would order the pizza to take with or to deliver, but certainly not be back here."

"Wir hatten eine kleine Familienfeier mit knapp 15 Leuten im Gastgarten und es war großartig. Für meine Frau und mich als Vegetarier waren ausreichend vegetarische Gerichte in der Speisekarte zu finden. Das Personal war stets gut informiert zu den Speisen und immer freundlich. Auch wenn es etwas hochpreisiger sein sollte als andere Lokale, ist das durchaus gerechtfertigt. Dass 'Grüße aus der Küche ' und ähnliches verrechnet werden ist nicht nur im Chadim gängig sondern auch anderswo und auch Ok. Auch das, wie abgesprochen, verrechnete 'Gabelgeld ' pro Person für selbst mitgebrachte Mehlspeisen geht vollkommen in Ordnung. Immer wieder gerne kommen wir wieder."

"Unerwartet findet man etwas abseits vom Mariahilferstraßentrubel das Restaurant MiLL und freut sich über einen stimmungsvollen begrünten Innenhof, der bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat. Das sehr nette und lockere Serviceteam ist zwar manchmal ein wenig konfus, aber der Charme macht alles wieder wett. Leider ist auch das, was aus der Küche kommt, nicht von gleicher Qualität - an einem Tisch gab es für zwei Hauptgerichte viel Lob, für ein Hauptgericht und eine Vorspeise hingegen wenig davon. Die Weinkarte ist klein, aber mit guten Produkten bestückt - überhaupt ist der Charakter des Angebots klein und fein und besteht aus einer guten Wahl von Produkten. An sich sehr gute Voraussetzungen; einen vierten Punkt gibt es aber erst, wenn Service und Küche kontinuierlich gute Leistungen liefern. Wäre mit ein Grund, wieder zu kommen..."

"Brandauer at Gerngross on the Mariahilferstraße is a popular lunch spot. Especially popular is its buffet priced at around 10 Euro. Unfortunately this is not a winner with me. First of all, I should say here that buffets are not my favorite way to eat. I find all the getting up and down disruptive to conversation .... and I usually eat much more than I want to of food that is usually only middle of the road in quality. I also don't know how long the food has been sitting out or been under the heat lamp. For the most part I avoid food buffets except the obligatory hotel breakfast buffets when I am travelling. This Brandauer buffet was heavy on the meats and carbs with only an acceptable salad contingent. Nothing impressed me....that is except two items. I thought the Tomatencreme Suppe was very flavorful and the Erdäpfelsalat (potato salad prepared Austrian style was def delicious. (Sorry though there was no Austrian pumpkin seed oil to add to it. And then I think my biggest down rating on this lunchtime buffet was the fact that there was no Nachspeise (dessert . C'mon! This is Austria one or two Nachspeisen should totally be available. There is one nice aspect to this buffet or to Brandauer's at Gerngross in general. It's situated on the top level of the department store with a nice outdoor eating area. The front portion of the outdoor dining has a wonderful view over the Mariahilferkirche (Haydn Church and south Vienna! Next time I'll probably just have a drink and enjoy the view!"
