"Après quelques recommandations de l'Office de tourisme de Grasse, nous avons choisi Lou Pignatoun et nous ne regrettons pas. C'est tout à fait ce que nous recherchions pendant notre séjour. Très bon accueil, salle joliment décorée, ambiance décontractée et une cuisine de bon niveau. Le chef nous a régalé avec des spécialités locales (aïoli et fassoum) à un prix plus que correct. Le service effectué par son épouse a été parfait. Très bonne qualité prix. Nous recommandons vivement. A ne pas manquer"

"We had researched the restaurant in Grasse before we arrived and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, but simply decorated and offers wonderful surroundings. The host was excellent and helpful to explain the dishes and make sure everything was good with food and wine. He even let us taste some wines before we decided which. Our phones needed fees, which he liked to do for us. The food is excellent and was very high quality. Would definitely recommend and come back here. Best to book early. Maybe our best meal in France."

"While visiting Grasse, we had lunch in this small restaurant/pastry shop where we were very well received with a smile and kind words to make us wait while waiting for our table. "A Grasse sembra difficile trovare un buon posto per mangiare che non sia turistico. Dopo una lunga ricerca, anche del taxi per raggiungere il ristorante, siamo arrivati in questo posto a 15 minuti da Grasse in una piazzetta silenziosa. La signora ed il suo collega sono stati adorabili nel servirci e nel chiacchierare con noi. Abbiamo provato les beignets (zucchine e melanzane fritte), un filetto di manzo alla bernaise e del vitello al Roquefort. Tutto molto buono accompagnato da del Côte di Rhone. Unico neo: il ritorno. La signora ha voluto chiamarci un taxi, ho insistito per darle il numero, ma mi ha assicurato che ci avrebbe pensato lei e ci ha chiamato una vettura con conducente privato che ci ha chiesto esattamente il doppio dell’andata per tornare al B&B!"

"We were looking for another restaurant, which was closed that evening and stumbled across Le Vietnam. Since we were ready to eat something different other than French food, we decided to eat here. The restaurant is very very simple, but the host is very gentle and welcoming. We knew what we wanted as we were regulars at many Vietnamese restaurants in the US, but in this restaurant, the Pho (typical vietnamese noodle soup) and the Bun Bo Xao (vermicelli salad with grilled beef and fish sauce) came only as entree (starter) size. However, the lady said that she could do the dishes as "large" or main dish size as she knew that this commonly done elsewhere. They were both prepared well, tasted fresh, and were satisfying. The food is healthy and light. The Pho could have used more different kinds of meat and basil, but again, this is not a place where their specialty is Pho and I assume that nobody orders it as the main dish. My 4 yo daughter had wonton soup with noodles, and she loved it. If you don't care for ambience but want a break from French food, this is a good place to stop by."

"My husband and I shared the best salad I've ever tasted to start, topped with an abundance of seafood with a delicious sauce. I then had a pasta dish, again, with a generous amount of sauce. My husband chose sardines accompanied by a filo parcel of perfectly cooked vegetables. It was a superb meal served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. If we ever return to Grasse we shall definitely dine here again."

"In my Englishness I decided to take my family here out of homesickness, this restaurant brought us a whole other kind of sickness. Even being from the land of questionable kebab meats, I feel entitled to write about this devastating establishment, tested the waters with 4 poppadoms, this analogy doesn’t fit the quality as I was greeted with a plate of poppadoms dryer than the footwear of Mahatma Ghandi himself, tryed picking one up and was left with a big hole in the thing and dusty fingers, not for the first time tonight, as I had previously picked up the dust coated glass to pour out beer that was about as warm as my sisters vindaloo. As for my food (a prawn tikka masala) which came out pleasingly/alarmingly fast! However served with a smile? Absolutely not outcome the so called waitress with a face of discust, which is completely acceptable if she had spent the previous minutes in the kitchen. However the curry was something that I wouldn’t feed to my dog, and I’m sure a homeless wouldn’t leap at the offer, tried to eat as much as possible and I am impressed with 2 forkfulls swallowed before joining my families queue to the toilet to vomit before salmonella kicks in, this isn’t an exaggeration although the owner didn’t have to question the sudden popularity of his toilet facility, because atleast the bog water was probably an acceptable drinking temperature. Long and short of it, I payed the bill and evacuated, never to return under any circumstances, what a terrible restaurant!"

"Due to the reviews in Tripadvisor, we came to dine at this restaurant. It didn't disappoint! It seems that it's run by a husband and a wife, and the lady is very warm and gentle. We sat downstairs where we could see the chef cooking and my husband noticed how passionate he is preparing the food with great care. We had the duck and the prawns and they were both well cooked accompanied by a delicious pumpkin puree. We saw the fried noodles (or pasta) ordered by the locals and it looked delicious! The wine was delicious at a great price. They were very accommodating with 4 yo daughter. I would come back for a great meal again when in the area. Honest food at honest prices!"
