"We were returning from a days sightseeing and found this quite by accident. The restaurant is right by a little tributary of the Gironde, with boats tied up alone the river and swifts catching insects as the evening sun went down. It was delightful in every way: location and welcome were great but the seafood was outstanding. We ate here 2 nights on a row because the food was so good. On the first night the restaurant was full of locals eating and watching the world cup final, we were made so welcome. I had Moules to die for! On the second night I had the seafood platter which was delicious, the oysters were particularly good. If you like rustic restaurants which are good value, serving excellent food at a reasonable price then don't hesitate. A tip on finding this gem - Once you are in the town of St Vivien de Medoc you follow signs to La Port."
