"the paradiso, which is located in the interior of the kastner and Öhler building in graz, offers mainly Italian food (pizza, pasta, salads). The restaurant is divided into a cafe, the self-service section incl. cups, seating possibilities inside and in the yard. You can also sit down with main dishes in cafe, since this is not separated from the rest of the restaurant, but goes directly into the SB part.As advantageous, you can also feel that the kitchen is not shielded and that the kitchen is not covered. This is especially good for pasta, as one can gradually say what one wants to have in and what should be omitted. The pizza orders are so regulated that - as with mcdonalds - one gets a number plate and the pizza is then placed. a "modern solution" as it exists for example at vapiano mitttels pagern, is unfortunately not available here. also children can choose from different dresses for eur 4 - there is then a toy or similar. However, when considered as a gourmet is not well served here, as it is more a quick snack than a restaurant. this is also reflected in the opening times, since the paradiso has never opened longer than until 19 hours. for much more high-quality eating in restaurant ambience, I highly recommend visiting the nearby l’osteria or even the a little more distant galliano. In my opinion, the name "paradiso - ristorante e bar" is unjustified, as there is not almost anything like a bar. the cafe i doubt to be called bar - also from the drink selection the name bar is more than inappropriate. Overall, the restaurant is comparable to the restaurants of the Vapiano chain, only that the self-service system there is significantly more mature and less stressful (payment after eating at the outlet). However, the nearby Vapiano restaurant I would not recommend to them as alternative to the quality there, because I am convinced of the quality there. more detailed information can be found in my review about the restaurant. --So I come to a total score of 3/5 points.Comment for evaluation: price-performance ratio in order well for between discount for "PlusCard"-Member own offer for children large selection- self-service- longer waiting times- few sitting opportunities (((seat-) space short)- bar - as stated in the name - not available- rather fastimbiss than restaurant-seat-system"

"Tasteful breakfast; gluten free menu available. Not 100% allergen free. Staff was friendly, the food was incredibly tasty and although it was a Holiday Weekend the atmosphere was relaxed and stress-free. As I have food allergies/intolerances I take a look at the menu online to check whether my requirements can be accommodated for. I do so especially when I am out with other people to avoid (possible) unpleasant situations. No allergens were listed online and unfortunately I didn’t have time to make a call ahead so I decided to go anyway, as in regard to the items on the menu there would be a few options I would be able to eat anyway. I was really happy when (upon declaring my allergies) the waitress offered me a gluten free and a vegan menu that would both suit my needs. She also pointed out that cross-contamination is still possible as kitchen space is very small, but she did so in a polite and understanding way. I was pleasantly surprised by the naturalness and enablement of a meal to be enjoyed regardless of requirements and needs. Besides that, the waitress was swift, friendly and alert. I had the “Indian” breakfast. The food was made to order using fresh and flavoursome ingredients. Texture and spices were well balanced and portion size generous. It was presented appealingly and in reasonable time. When ordering gluten free options, the regular bread variations are replaced with gluten free bread. Note to allergy sufferers: The allergen menu declared that food is prepared in a non-allergen-free kitchen space, however, I have not experienced side effects afterwards. I have been very early in the morning as the place was not yet very busy, so it might be different during peak times. The range of the week day breakfast menu is small but covers a broad variety of cuisines as well as some ‘classics’, so anyone should be able to find something to meet their taste. The weekend/Band Holiday menu offers additional items. I deduct 1 point as I’d appreciate finding an allergen menu online. Nonetheless I will come back for sure to try some of the weekend specials as well as some weekday alternatives. I’ve had a very pleasant stay and I am looking forward to repeating it."
