"we were often at the carving farmer in hall. the restaurant is small and cozy. in summer there is a small terrace in the backyard. the staff is always nice and friendly.There is a huge selection of carving dishes and supplements. the food is very tasty and is freshly prepared. for the smaller hunger are also offered senior proportions, these dishes are somewhat smaller compared to the normal dishes.We can only recommend a visit to the carving farmer. the staff is very friendly and eating is always fresh and tasty!Small type: who plans to visit should always call before and make a table. because the restaurant is slightly smaller, there are only a limited number of places.Many thanks to the delicious food! we are happy to come back!"

"Wir haben hier gefrühstückt und es war wirklich absolut lecker. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Als kleiner Tipp: wer am Samstag Morgen einen guten Platz will, sollte wirklich sehr früh hier sein. "Wir waren gestern im Roten Milan...daß erste letzte mal ,ich empfehle es nicht weiter. Mein Essen war super lecker schön angerichtet 1 Essen fast 30,00 Euro hätte ich gerne Bezshlt wenn der Service gestimmt hätte) Nach dem Essen wurde sich über uns garnicht mehr gekümmert. Die Gläser von den Getränken waren leer,keiner fragt nach ob wir noch etwas möchten ...die Kellerner laufen am Tisch vorbei und nehmen nichts leeres mit. Nach einer 1/2 ist unser Freund nach vorne gegangen und hat sein Bier bestellt. Ob wir noch etwas möchten wie Nachttisch was einige wollten wurde nicht nachgefragt) Aus protest haben wir nichts mehr bestellt da sich eh keiner um uns gekümmert hat. Dem Tisch neben uns haben wir mitbekommen ging es genauso.Wir bestellen eine große Cola dann wurde noch mal Nachgefragt kein Problem die Jungen Kellnerinen sieht man die Überforderung an. Genau soetwas ist Chef Sache die Leute zu Leiten. Es kommt natürlich eine kleine Cola...die Kellerin möchte jemand von ihnen die kleine Nein dann wieder lange keine Getränke...ok wir bezahlen...wer mit Karte bezahlt soll nach vorne kommen wo gibt es den soetwas...sie haben an den Tisch zu kommen) ging doch dann auch .Es ist nicht zu Empfehlenda der Service Überfordert ist und nach der Bestellung vom Essen sich keine mehr um einen gekümmert hat. Ach ja unserer Freundin der das Essen überhaupt nicht gerecht und geschmeckt hat wurde nicht mal Nachgefragt und einen Ersatz hat sie auch nicht bekommen.."

"Was für eine Enttäuschung am 26.12.2023 zum Mittagessen! Beim Eintreffen war der Tisch bereits eingedeckt, die Speisekarten lagen bereit, also Getränke bestellt und ausgewählt. Dann aber „heute gibt’s nur Buffet“, keine Chance die ausgewählten Gericht zu bestellen. „Das wäre unfair den anderen Gästen gegenüber, die ihr Essen vom Buffet holen mussten“. Was diese auch ausgiebig getan hatten, entsprechend sahen die Reste davon nach 13Uhr aus. „Kostet 30€ pro Person“, jedoch kein Hinweis darauf bei der Reservierung oder in den Speisekarten (wozu liegen die da? . Auf mehrfache Hinweise, dass wir nicht für 30€ pro Person kalte Reste wollten und doch bitte etwas von der Karte haben möchten: „Sie können ja soviel vom Buffet nehmen wie Sie wollen“. Kalte Nudeln? Mehrere Fleischsorten gemischt in einer Schale, aus der man wohl rausfischen sollte was man will (haben Andere vorher sehr offensichtlich und ausgiebig getan , kalte Pommes seitlich vom Buffet, die in den 30 Minuten unserer Anwesenheit weder warm gehalten noch aufgefüllt wurden? Das während unserer Bestellversuche bereitgestellte Nachtischbuffet sah dann inzwischen genauso geplündert und -sorry- zermatscht aus wie die kalten Reste, wir sind dann gegangen ohne auch nur ein Wort oder eine Geste der Entschuldigung oder des Bedauerns zu erfahren. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass das der Standard im Odeon ist, die vielen guten Bewertungen lassen zumindest anderes vermuten. So sind wir jedenfalls noch nie in einem Restaurant enttäuscht worden."

This Italian restaurant in the Kleine Ulrichstrasse in the city centre of Halle next to the river Saale goes the extra mile for the customer and for his palate....The food one will get to eat there is nothing one hasn't heard of before, but the way they serve it, the arrangement on the plate, the freshness of the ingredients and the subtle, never aggressive way to suggest and to present it are rarely matched. The customer feels like being the centre of attention on the right moment and there is no waiter laughing about him, if he pronounces difficult Italian words in the wrong way. It is not about talking Italian, nor about boasting with nerdy knowledge about wines, cellars and terroir. It is about having enough time to have excellent food in a very friendly and cozy restaurant. The focaccias, the salads and the pasta dishes are mouthwatering and without exception great. The meat dishes are a bit expensive at first sight, but the amount of food on the plate and the taste of it are worth it. Great! My favorite Italian restaurant in Halle"

"Beim Eintreffen die erste Überraschung: Die auf der Website verfügbare Speisekarte scheint so nicht gültig zu sein. Uns wird eine DIN A4 Seite mit einigen wenigen Gerichten überreicht, das sei die Speisekarte. Das ist schon mal ein extrem schwacher Einstieg. Die reduzierte Karte führt trotzdem zu Problemen, denn die Rahmchampignons beim Schnitzel, die seien noch nicht fertig . Also entweder länger warten oder was anderes nehmen. Wir nehmen was anders. Das Essen kommt, allerdings hat nur ein Schnitzel Bratkartoffeln. Eine halbe Schüssel, arg verbrannt und sehr trocken. Die Bratkartoffeln zum anderen Schnitzel kommen noch , sagt die Bedienung. Das passiert auch ca. 10 Min später, eine volle Schüssel allerdings waren die nur ganz kurz in der Pfanne und schmecken dementsprechend. Der Service erscheint insgesamt arg überfordert. So wird bei uns schon mal teilweise abgeräumt, während andere Gäste am Tisch noch essen. Dafür sitzen wir dann später fast 20 min vor einem unabgeräumten Tisch, als alle fertig sind. Die Preissetzung gibt erhebliche Rätsel auf. 25 EUR für ein Schnitzel welches vieleicht ein L ist, aber niemals das angepriesene XXL mit ein wenig Bratkartoffeln und Grillgemüse: Das ist happig und der Leistung völlig unangemessen. Der Unterschied zum Schnitzel vom Imbiss nebenan ist lediglich die Tatsache, dass es nicht in der Fritteuse zubereitet wurde. Bereits mehrfach haben wir hier in den letzten Jahren gegessen und waren bis dato immer zufrieden. Die aktuelle Leistung bietet keinen Anlass, wieder zu kommen. Da ist ein guter Lieferdienst die bessere Alternative."

"Als ich ankam , hatte ich den Eindruck, dass mir das Restaurant viel zu klein ist und eher einer weniger gute Atmosphäre hat. Außerdem sind die Tische sehr klein und ineffizient. Das Essen war nicht so der Hammer ,also schon Mal keine 2 Sterne mehr. Die Raumgestaltung hat mir jetzt auch nicht sonderlich gut gefallen. Das Buffet ist auch wirklich sehr mikrig und klein. Die Kellner waren jetzt auch nicht die oberste Klasse mit den Getränken. Eine Sache die mir noch ein kleines bisschen gefiel ,ist der Schokobrunnen und dort hört es leider auch schon wieder auf. Ich empfehle hier nicht zu essen ,aufgrund meiner genannten Kritikpunkte. Bitte geht in andere Großstädte,um schön essen zu gehen ,aber Bitte nicht in Halle!!!!!!!"

"we were in juni this year in the restaurant golf turtle. it was a Saturday evening and we were two. When we read curious in the menu, the chef of the restaurant came and immediately recommended us the buffet, as we could all eat. the offer was a great disappointment: the selection was very sweet (1 chicken dish, a curry sauce, more finished sauce, the fried dishes tasted like the day before, the rice was cold and dry. the sushi was also very dry.Maybe eating the buffet was already there for a long time and the chef wanted to get rid of it, so it seemed to me.The places were partly flying around, which then gave the appetit another damper.Only the cleanliness of the toilets was commendable."

"Wir hatten für 8 Personen reserviert und waren dann leider nur 6. Wir wurden gleich angeblufft, dass die beiden Mitarbeiter sich gerade darüber unterhalten hätten, in Zukunft, für solche Fälle eine Gebühr zu erheben. Unverschämt ! Die langhaarige, blonde Kellnerin war unfreundlich, unprofessionell und schnippisch. Die Getränke wurden über den Kopf der Gäste zum Gegenüber gegeben, ohne Vorwarnung. Beim Essen genau das gleiche. Dann hat sie die Nachbartische umgeschoben und Stühle über den Boden geschoben, dass man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr verstanden hat. Beim Bezahlen war sie sichtlich genervt, weil wir mit EC Karte gezahlt haben. Hat dann den Rechnungspreis 3 mal genannt, wahrscheinlich in der Hoffnung, dass wir aufrunden und Trinkgeld geben. Bei diesem Verhalten? NIEMALS !!! Dann sagt sie noch, vor uns, zu ihrem Kollegen: Na heute zahlen alle mit Karte, da können wir uns nichts rausnehmen. Sie sollte sich mal fragen, warum sie kein Trinkgeld bekommt. Zum krönenden Abschluss wurden wir 22.10 Uhr rausgeschmissen, obwohl noch einige Tische besetzt waren und die Öffnungszeiten, was anderes sagen. Ein großes Lob geht an die Küche! Das Essen war recht schnell fertig und war sehr lecker."
