The meat is perfect, the sauce toppt everything, mega spicy and creamy. Price is TOP! The only criticism is: chairs are uncomfortable and sometimes defective, opening hours are somewhat too short. "we were often at the carving farmer in hall. the restaurant is small and cozy. in summer there is a small terrace in the backyard. the staff is always nice and friendly.There is a huge selection of carving dishes and supplements. the food is very tasty and is freshly prepared. for the smaller hunger are also offered senior proportions, these dishes are somewhat smaller compared to the normal dishes.We can only recommend a visit to the carving farmer. the staff is very friendly and eating is always fresh and tasty!Small type: who plans to visit should always call before and make a table. because the restaurant is slightly smaller, there are only a limited number of places.Many thanks to the delicious food! we are happy to come back!"

"Wir haben hier gefrühstückt und es war wirklich absolut lecker. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Als kleiner Tipp: wer am Samstag Morgen einen guten Platz will, sollte wirklich sehr früh hier sein. "Stayed in Halle for one night. It was Boxing Day. We spontaneously ended up in the Mönchshof. The super nice service person also had a nice table for us. Our little dog wasn't a problem either. The food was very good. If we had been in Halle longer, we would certainly have stopped there again."

"Das beste am Anfang: das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Die Inneneinrichtung wirkt sehr abgenutzt. Auch würde der ein oder andere Reinigungseinsatz gut tun . Die Toiletten sind gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Essen eher ohne Anspruch und nicht mehr als Nahrungsbereitstellung. Einfach lieblos dargeboten und leider so hart das klingt mit 0815 Grieche zu bewerten. Kurz: auch wenn die Preise ok sind , selbst da passt Preis/Leistung nicht ! Schade!"

This Italian restaurant in the Kleine Ulrichstrasse in the city centre of Halle next to the river Saale goes the extra mile for the customer and for his palate....The food one will get to eat there is nothing one hasn't heard of before, but the way they serve it, the arrangement on the plate, the freshness of the ingredients and the subtle, never aggressive way to suggest and to present it are rarely matched. The customer feels like being the centre of attention on the right moment and there is no waiter laughing about him, if he pronounces difficult Italian words in the wrong way. It is not about talking Italian, nor about boasting with nerdy knowledge about wines, cellars and terroir. It is about having enough time to have excellent food in a very friendly and cozy restaurant. The focaccias, the salads and the pasta dishes are mouth-watering and without exception great. The meat dishes are a bit expensive at first sight, but the amount of food on the plate and the taste of it are worth it. Great! My favorite Italian restaurant in Halle!"

"on recommendation of the Dorint hotel, whose restaurant was closed on 01.11.2021, we reserved a table for 19 clock in the hallenser kartoffelhaus. the reception was warm, the environment so cozy that they just felt the service excellent. our main dishes, fish, sülze, salat and pommes were tender, the Maril steering dump and the scrub noodles as dessert reads no wish open! we can only recommend this restaurant to the warmest!"

"Lange haben wir es geplant hinzugehen . Das Menü welches Online ist , ist nicht mehr aktuell ,also gab es die Gerichte auf die wir uns gefreut haben, gar nicht . 2x zum Restaurant umsonst gekommen- einmal war spontan zu und das zweite mal nur für Hotelgäste . Alle gute Dinge sind drei , also haben wir es nochmal probiert und endlich konnten wir uns hinsetzen und bestellen . Es war leider sehr sehr enttäuschend. Reis war aus der Tüte , Bratlinge wahrscheinlich Fertigbrstlinge aus der Tiefkühltruhe , und geschmacklich langweilig … die Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam, leider roch der Kellner selbst für uns als Raucher sehr unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch…"
