"After a long drive from Warsaw we arrived in Hameln for an overnight stop and chose this restaurant from its no2 Tripadvisor rating. It certainly lived up to its reviews as both the savoury and the sweet pancakes a large selection of both to...choose from) on offer were delicious along with the local beer and all served at a very reasonable price. Its a beautiful old building with creaking floors , low beams and takes you back in time when sat inside. The only disappointment was that we didn't have time to stick around to have lunch the following morning as we just ran out of time and had to continue on with our journey. All the more reason to return to Hameln again soon . Ps , the portions are extremely generous and very filling so you will not leave hungry !!!"

"we have been to mexcal several times. the hired are friendly and the selection of food is plentiful. we are more vegan and have been able to offer a vegan food, but it is always the same. Unfortunately, not even the chips are vegan as they fry other dinges in the oil. we find that very bad, because chips for my daughter are so standard. She is only 4 years old and doesn't value much in a restaurant. Generally, I find it a pity that a kartoffel can't be vegan, but we often find it when we eat out. Last time we were there, it was okay to eat, but nothing special – maybe we had enough of it. will take a while until we visit again. To be fair, however, I have to say once again that the personal is friendly and the choice for non-Vegans is plentiful and I have never heard a negative assessment of others."

"I have eaten in an evening under the week with my travel companion in the restaurant rich eagle. when we arrived, we found the bar and the restaurant full. one of the waiters made us little hope to find a place to dinner. patiently waiting, the owner (I accept) was coming and found us a place. this was neither an English language local nor the menus. we had both carving and they were generous and well prepared. the sorte jäger was the best. our beer selection was limited, but sufficient. the prices were reasonable, especially for the offered portions. I also noticed on a side table that the guests ate steaks. they looked great for Germany! my experience is that Germany tends to be expensive and from American perseverance does not have the best steak quality. I might have to try a steak on a future trip. this is a place for locals, and if they are inhibited, they do not dare to get in if they feel uncomfortable in this situation. but I recommend to eat and drink a richly-seed for good food."

"Das Essen war außergewöhnlich und sehr gut allerdings sehr wenig. Ich würde empfehlen die Hauptspeise zu nehmen. Allerdings preislich nicht ganz gerechtfertigt, da selbst die Hauptspeise nicht derartig sättigend war, wie zu dem Preis erwartend. Wir würden das Restaurant nicht erneut zum Abendessen auswählen. Das Brot was wir vorab bekommen hatten, wurde uns ebenfalls in Rechnung bestellt, was ja zum Teil nachvollziehbar gewesen wäre, wäre uns nicht geröstetes Toastbrot serviert worden. Da wir noch Dips übrig hatten,haben wir Nachschlag geordert. Daraufhin wurden uns erneute 3 halbierte Toastscheiben serviert, welche mit satten 9 € erneut in Rechnung gestellt wurden. Darüber waren wir etwas verwundert. An sich ist es ein Restaurant, welches beabsichtigt mit regionalen Zutaten außergewöhnliche Gerichte zu zaubern. Allerdings hat das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis im Endeffekt einfach nicht gepasst. Auch hätten wir uns bei einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse beispielsweise Stoffservietten gewünscht. Dies als Verbesserungsvorschlag."

"today we were excited about the first moment bright on! as a greeting from the kitchen there was a bruschetta. simple and tasty on hot, short roasted white bread. perfect. our two appetizers (feldsalat with green spargel and self-made antipasti) have already delighted us completely and the two main dishes (spaghetti with gr. spargel and ricotta and auberginen with tomate and mozzarella) were retired seamlessly! we are happy to come back! a must if you are in a hamlet and like italian!"

"we were here on Saturday night. the restaurante was well filled, but were still tables free. the buffet was very tasty and there were typical dishes known from a Chinese buffet. appetizers (suppen, salat, etc.) as well as the usual main dishes (ente, schwein, chop suey etc.) in a dessert (ice, baked bananas, krabenchips etc.) nix exceptional but very tasty. the buffet was quickly refilled if something was missing."

"Obwohl an diesem Tag sehr viel los war und das Wetter wirklich dazu eingeladen hat dort Essen zu gehen, hat es wirklich sehr gut geklappt! Service war sehr gut, sehr nett und sehr freundlich! Wir wurden recht zügig bedient. Getränke und Essen haben nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Es war sehr lecker und ziemlich gemütlich. Dort wird man uns bestimmt nochmal sehen. Kein Wunder warum die Parkplätze häufig stark frequentiert sind. Probiert es gerne mal aus! Ich hoffe das es euch dort auch schmeckt."

"I ate here last week with some work colleagues, the food was very nice and tasty, also very hot. The Xmas burger was very nice, but a little too large for me to finish, the veal schnitzel was enormous and excellent value. The place is...right next to the river, in the summer I can imagine the place would be great to sit outside and watch the boats pass by, it was far too cold for me as the visit was in winter with figures. "Wir sind spontan mit 5 Leuten und einem Hund eingekehrt und habe auch einen Platz erhalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Rumpsteak war schön Medium gebraten und hat gut geschmeckt. Auch das Essen der anderen sah gut aus und wurde zufrieden, mit Lob verputzt. Es wäre allerdings schön gewesen, wenn wir gemeinsam anfangen hätten können zu essen. Erst wurden die beiden Steaks gebracht und dann kamen mit leichten, zeitlichen Verzug, einzeln zwei andere Gerichte. Das letzte Gericht, es war Lachs mit Nudeln, kam zum Schluss, als ich mein Essen fast aufgegessen hatte. Zum Abschluss wurde noch ein Sahnelikör vom Haus spediert."

"Thanks to the good experiences I made at the bakery in Bochum, and since we wanted to go to dinner only in the evening, we decided to visit the bakery for a small snack 5 hours after breakfast. "We went to the Café am Ring a few times and ate vegan pinse. At first they were really tasty and the service was very nice. At some point we were there and had a bad experience with the food. After a long time, the two of us were there yesterday and ordered pinse again. One was delicious, but mine was so sparsely topped, dry and therefore didn 't taste good. After the first piece I complained, but the waiter wasn 't interested. He kept saying it was a Pinsa and not a pizza. I bake pinse myself, so I didn 't need any instruction. He argued with me for minutes and repeatedly asked what I actually wanted. I asked him to take the pinsa with him. The cheeky answer: “You still have to pay. You ordered it.” Then he offered to have a new one baked, but it would be just as dry. Vegan pins would always be so dry. The dough was ok. It was about the topping that had dried out in the oven and the very sparse amount. I didn 't want to make a big scene in the restaurant, so I put oil on them so it wouldn 't be so dry and then I ate them. We then skipped dessert and coffee. I paid without leaving a tip. Dear Mr. Ober: The sound makes the music and its sound was very bad. Two stars from me because a Pinsa was OK."
