"We managed to get away for a weekend without the children, the first time for 11 years! We have a place near Hesdin, and thought it would be nice to go for a romantic meal. Having looked at the reviews on trip advisor we chose...La Breteche, and I 'm glad we did. It was a lovely warm evening so we sat outside, but they were concerned we would get cold so the staff sorted out the patio heater for us. The food was lovely, we do enjoy fine dining, and have been to some famous/popular foodie restaurants. Whilst I have had slightly better meals they have been three to four times the price of this meal. The food was well presented, well cooked and tasted wonderful. The staff were attentive, but not obtrusive, there was a good wine list and I would highly recommend it. It was a nice romantic meal for us, but there is a children 's menu so also good for families, and there was a large seating area so great for a group also. We look forward to going back again."
