"Arrived at 1pm with reservation, there was already only one day entrance, more dish of the day or dessert of the day. The server though very pleasant manages too many tables which creates a somewhat tense atmosphere. The card entries are very expensive, all over 20€ while the prices of the main dishes are in the average. The Italian charcuterie board did not give the impression of having been cut off minute and the vegetarian dish based on rice noodles and coco curry was frankly disappointing and rude, not worthy of this restaurant. The beef tataki, the truite gravelax on entering, however, are good. The main dishes are correct. The desserts are original and very good. The view remains unbearable."

The boss was adorable and a cream among the creams, with total kindness. She really made our culinary experience very enjoyable. We were very well received with family and really enjoyed each second. "Well worth the effort to get to the restaurant. We skied there via the Chamois run which can be tricky towards the end if not bashed and the last hill needs a leap of faith if not a confident skier, but you can always dismount and walk. This was our forth season visiting the restaurant and we’ll always make a visit to this lovely little chalet when we ski Alpe D’Huez. The food is excellent and we had some fun banter with Justine whom we remember from previous visits. There’s not a lot of space inside so book early or prepare to sit outside in all weather. The staff were kind enough to make space for us inside to finish our meal when the weather turned. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable meal"

Un décor du restau autant que de l'hôtel qui valorise ce qu'il y a dans les assiettes et les verres...en prime on a pu profiter d'une concert de musique live avec un guitariste à la voix de seal! avec un Carbonieux blanc pour terminer en douceur! "6 of us went into a group. After reading the small print on the menu, which is said: “Our cooks will change the food for allergens” (or dare to) I asked a burger with white brot instead of a sesame seed beer to categorize for my sesame allergy. the waiter explained that a change of the brotes is somehow not possible and I was asked to change my order. I changed my order to steak, cooked with medium. the group all ordered simultaneously (a tapas type starter for the table, a main and 3 sides pommes). my friend saved her burger half an hour before everyone else came to eat, and the tapas star came out after 5 of the main dishes came out. my steak came 15 minutes after all others to which point the person had ended with the burger. I had to look right into my steak (which was black on both sides) and it was obviously overcrowded. I said to a waiter who agreed that it was not a medium-cooked steak, it was adequately apologetic and took it back. I then had the joy that 2 other employees come (fast aggressiw) tell me that I was wrong and that it was medium. that wasn't it. they bought me a menu and told me not to order the steak again. So I ordered bolognese because I know that pasta is fast to make, and we have been in the restaurant for over an hour. it took 20 minutes to get out and was average. Overall, I was very disappointed by this experience. my whole group said how disproportionate prices were on the quality of food. €24 for a burger that was described as standard. 2/3 of the staff we met were rude. that's been eating forever to get out. the toilets had paper towels all over the floor. the only good part was the view. go better to la cabane, where eating 2x is better for half price."
