"I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in budget. We liked the food very much there(especially with calming Indian music in background . Would love to visit this place again for sure. What we tried in Veg option: Tea, Veg Biryani, Mutter Paneer and Butter Naan. One thing lacking here was that place was little cozy and lack privacy but food will definitely make you happier :"

"This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Interlaken! The food is always good, very fresh and clean especially with the chicken dishes. I have this ick with chicken where it would taste funny or bad, would be black, chewy and I never experienced this at Maharaja. The service and hospitality is amazing there especially with Farha. She is so nice and helpful and she does not mind going the extra mile to make sure you are having a nice lunch/dinner. Prices are expensive for a tourist maybe, but for Switzerland and especially Interlaken the prices are average to expensive… One thing I would mention is maybe the atmosphere.. maybe sprucing up the place and elevating the decor a little, would make it perfect!"

"Wir durften ein wunderbares, einmaliges Dinner im La Terrasse geniessen. Vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung alles stimmte. Der Küchenchef Stefan Beer begrüsste uns ganz persönlich. Jedes Gericht war ein Traum. Alles sehr kreativ mit Liebe angerichtet, sehr oft mit einem WOW Effekt serviert, wir staunten nur noch! Ein Lob gilt den Service Mitarbeitern und der Küchen Brigade sie leisten Hervorragendes! Wir wurden bis zum Schluss verwöhnt. Dieses Nachtessen bleibt uns unvergesslich. "Awesome food was served by the restaurant and specially got to eat chapati after a long time in switzerland. Its wonderful and delicious restaurant i have visited yet and would like to visit this place as many time as I am in Interlaken. "Our group of 7 were visiting Interlaken and we decided to go for an Indian meal. We found Spice India and were very impressed. The service was fantastic, we had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a quite period. The food was very flavorsome and tasty, just like home. We had a number of dishes, all had their own unique flavors not like some restaurants where the curry base is the same. I would visit again and we had a great time."

"positive: -I was operated very quickly and the service was interested in the customer. -the rustic restaurant equipment corresponds to my taste -the card is varied and for every taste what is there. -the portions are very large and the price is more than legitimate. - tastefully top. the bbq marinade of the rib was excellent. -the sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. -the beer card is big and there are some great foreign beers that I have only arrived at very few other places. -the waiting period was very short, although the restaurant was already quite well visited. negatiw. there is nothing negative to say. Keep going! this review is just my personal opinion. I can put this restaurant to everyone who wants to eat properly and drink well!"

"We were in a hotel nearby, and I tried to find something Clocal, and I stumbled over Napoli. I'm glad I did. We went there twice in two days. First we had pizza, lentil soup, Gyros Doner and chicken burgers. Everything was delicious. Second night we had beans with rice, Lamb Doner Box, chicken burger and lentil soup again, it was amazing. It is run by a Syrian family to make the food Halal. There are toilet facilities not used, so can not comment on cleanliness. Overall highly recommended place to visit."

"Great food and the amount is also great. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The location is super convenient, right next to Interlaken West trainstation. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. They were very fast. We ordered four meals and all of them were super delicious. The price per person is between 20-30 Swiss francs which is a very reasonable price for what ypu get. I can definitely recommend Kashmir, they also do takeaway."

"Found this small restaurant late evening in Xmas week when most others were already closed or overpriced. Prices on the low side but quality was really good. My wife had a chicken burger and it was 100% chicken breast. Pizzas were really tempting as well but we opted for burgers. The guy who served us really took care of us. Would definitely recommend. Keep up the good service. Regards from Malta"

"I will start by saying that I would have given this restaurant five stars if we didn't have to wait for three hours to get the food (2 hours waiting for a table and 1 hour waiting for the food). Still, the fact that I am still giving the place four starts is a testament to its great tasting food. I really liked the raclette burger and sweet potato fries, but not to the extent of waiting three hours waiting for it. So, get your reservations before coming in, which would minimize the waiting time. Still, the restaurant should understand the limitations of its kitchen and refuse customers because they can't adequately serve them in time."

"I am perfectly aware it's Interlaken and that the prices there are a little bit high due to tourism. However, I found that the prices were not fair. My girlfriend's dish was extremely small and cost CHF 22. She took the small portion but even the big portion for CHF 28 was almost the same size. Also, the taste of her meal was not as good as we expected and certainly not worth that price.Service was okay but very very slow, even though the restaurant was kinda empty at the time. As we sat on the terrace we could see that people in the restaurant on the other side of the street had time to not only arrive and order, but also finish their meal before our meals arrived. That goes to show how long it took us to get our food.In short, not a good experience at all."

"We had gone for lunch to Taj Palace and had ordered Non-veg Thali and Chicken biriyani. The service was prompt and the food was tasty. Although I cannot compare the taste of the food with other Indian restaurants in the region, I can vouch for the fact that it tasted much better than most Indian restaurants in Germany. The restaurant manager, Ajay was a very friendly host and also gave us great suggestions on places to visit. I Would surely recommend Taj Palace for anybody looking for some homely, warm Indian food and hospitality."

"A restaurant that was recommended to me by some friends. Not knowing anything about Korean food my wife and I decided to give it a try. We decided to eat a table grill where you cook the food yourself on the table. An unusual but most pleasant dining experience. The dish was pleasantly spicy. Service was a bit slow but was made up by the friendliness from the owner/host who explained how to cook the food at the table. The only negative comment is that the restaurant is very sparse so it can be quite chilly. Bring warm clothing. I will definitely go a second time."

"The best Indian food, I have ever eaten on a vacation in a long long time. Nothing matches the quality of food here. We ordered Butter Chicken, Naan and Jeera rice and everything was perfect. My kids (7 years and 1.5 years old also enjoyed the butter chicken gravy with Naan and rice, it was that perfectly made. The owner seemed a very humble guy and the lady who was serving the meal was very welcoming and nice. For me personally, the icing on the cake was the complementary pickle that they offered, I loved the taste of it too. I would say the overall ambience needs a little makeover, considering we are in Switzerland and the prices are so expensive. But hey who cares when you get food that soothes your mind and tummy : Do visit here, highly recommended."

"The team is very rude and don’t have any respect for the visitors. Maybe hey entertain the locals well. We left the restaurant after the waiter took the menu from us saying it’s old menu and that was said very rudely. Then asked about the local beer… he rudely said it’s all in menu. Better avoid this place. Dear Management team: appreciate your prompt response. It’s good to protect your team but should also hear out the guests view. Your team member may have answered the queries but in very disrespectful way which is stated in my complaint. You as management team should address this issue rather than being over protective. This is the first of case where I left the restaurant because of aggressive and disrespectful attitude of the staff. Ask your team member to be more cooperative and correct them rather than asking your guests to amend the review."

"Bei einem spontanen Trip nach Interlaken, entdeckten wir dIeses Hotel. Wir haben am Nachmittag angerufen und nach einem freien Zimmer gefragt. Und promt wurde uns von einem sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter bestätigt, dass noch eines frei ist. Vor Ort angekommen erhielten wir die Info, dass wir ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten. Positiv überraschte uns das Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer war sehr modern und relativ gross. Die Aussicht auf die Kirche fantastisch. Lediglicher Minuspunkt der Balkon. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass dieser nicht sehr stabil ist."

"Service was horrible. It was so slow and the waiter and manger were very unfriendly. The manager kept yelling at the server and it was an uncomfortable experience for my family of four. After the food, which was very costly and only the sag paneer was great, we headed off to the washrooms. They were unusable, **** all over the toilet and floor, trash spilling out, and very stinky so went off to the grocery store washroom to use theirs. We wouldn’t suggest this place, we love Indian food, so perhaps other places are better."
