"Pleasant athmosphere, very welcoming staff.... However, food was rather basic although nicely presented on the plate. Not bad, but I will not be ordering again what I had. Service also a bit slow, given that patrons are usually coming for the performance in the evening, so they cannot wait at their leisure."

"I went to this restaurant yesterday and when I got home, I realized that I had been given the wrong chicken tom yum soup. Not only was it not what I had ordered, but I was also charged more than I should have been. The soup was extremely salty, even after I added more water. Other dishes, such as wonton noodles and chicken wings, were also overly salty. I hope that they can improve the food, but I doubt I will be returning. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 1."

"I wish there were more dog-friendly places like this! We have three dogs of different sizes, and when we requested a bowl of water for them, the staff was more than happy to provide it. The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is very friendly. If you're in Irvine, I highly recommend this pub, even if you don't have a dog. Its dog-friendly atmosphere definitely earns my endorsement!"

"This is now 3 times this place has done this.ordered a meal last night for my and husband. I got it and again part of it was missing yet again for 3 time .I also asked them to put extra meat in but they never . I never got what I payed for and the attitude of them is ridiculous. Everytime I've ordered from there they take forever and you don't get your full order you pay for .I won't be ordering there again .as its disgusting how they treat their customers. Told them I wanted a refund for all 3 times I've not got what I've ordered and payed for .and you don't get much either"

"We have used peking chef a few times in the past as its not to far from us so more convenient than anything but after the last few takaways I think we will be the last. Its never been the best place for Chinese food but was usually ok and a few times we even found the food to be excellent but the last few times and been constantly poor from watery sauce in the chicken saty and peking spare ribs that were inedible as the were closer to charcoal than ribs dont know if its different chef's on different nights but you never know what you are going to get. My advice is vist one of the other takeaway places in irvine as there is better choices about and for a lot cheaper but if you still insist on trying peking chef I suggest picking up the order or make sure you place it 2 hours prior to wanting to eat as we have never had a delivery in less than that."
