"Zuerst das Gute: Ein sehr schönes Steakhouse mit kleiner aber guter Karte. Getränke eher hochpreisig, Essen auch, aber durch Qualität eigentlich zu verstehen. Waren bis heute Stammgäste mit 1 x pro Woche Besuch und auch Empfehlung an Freunde und Kollegen. Doch nachdem wir heute zum 4. Mal in 2 Wochen den schlechten Service zu spüren bekamen, können wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr empfehlen. Die erste jüngere Kellnerin nahm zügig das Trinken auf und dies wurde dann nach ca 15 Minuten gebracht. Doch dann ging das Chaos richtig los: eine andere Dame, grauhaarig, nahm das Essen auf (sie rannte an 5 Tischen rum und nahm bestellungen auf OHNE irgendwas zu notieren... wir dachten schon sie ist ein naturtalent... Allerdings bekamen wir nach ca 1 1/2 Stunden Wartezeit noch immer nichts zu essen zumal wir Salat vorweg bestellt hatten. Am Nachbartisch bekamen Leute die schon vor uns da waren dann nach der Zeit 2 von 4 salaten vorweg, die restlichen 2 kamen gerade nach 2 Stunden als wir dann ohne irgendwas zu essen zu bekommen, zählten. Der andere Tisch bekam wenigstens nach 2 Stunden das kostenlose Brot und dip. Als wir dann unsere Getränke zahlten hiess es die Küche wäre überfordert bzw zu viel los. Wir gaben den Tipp die Gäste einfach am Anfang darauf hinzuweisen, dass es länger geht... Wobei wir sicher wissen bzw denken dass nicht die Küche sondern die grauhaarige Dame überfordert war. Ehrliches Kompliment an die junge Dame, den Barkeeper und den Herrn an der Kasse, denke Restaurant Leiter. Übrigens waren zwei Paare, die noch geblieben sind, auch Bekannte von uns, denen wir das Restaurant empfohlen hatten. Werde in den nächsten Tagen erfahren ob sie nach 3 Stunden alles essen hatten. Weiterer hinweis: wir bekamen auch von der 2. Kellnerin falsche Getränke, der Nachbartisch falsches Essen. Schade dass der Abend so enden musste, eigentlich war heute unser Jahrestag...."

"Wolkenkratzer is a small café right in the middle of the Marktplatz (market place) in Kehl, a strategic location for business. Kehl is frequented by local French tourists from near-by Strasbourg, and then there also are enough local Germans to fill the tables. On market...days (Tuesdays Fridays) the place gets filled up easily. On Fridays Saturdays they serve something special that you cannot get on other days, namely weisswurst mit Senf (white Bavarian sausage with sweet mustard and a pretzel. I went there on a Friday and got this treat! It cost less than euros, and it was worth every bite! The restaurant also had a pretty comprehensive breakfast/lunch menu that included regular, breakfast items, breakfast sandwiches and daily lunch specials. In addition to hot drinks they had alcoholic drinks. There also was an ice cream menu. Since it was summer almost everybody was seated outside. I was told by the tourist office that they had free Wi-Fi, but I did not see anybody with a computer there. I had passed by this café several times before asking myself what message they tried to convey by its name. Wolkenkratzer means skyscraper in German, but this café, when stripped off its outdoor seating (for example in winter) would look more like a wooden shed. Since their specialty seemd to be good breakfast with good coffee, I wondered if the picture of a steaming cup of coffee on their name plaque meant to say that steam was rising toward clouds. While contemplating this I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch there"

"because the city kehl has no real German “beer garden”, the Rhineschneck restaurant gets several points directly there, just because there is a chance to enjoy a cold beer in a very green atmosphere. the restaurant is surrounded by green and several large weeping grazing give cool shadows for this restaurant outdoors. rheinschenk is located in an interesting park between rhein and old rhein (an old Rhine branch). the park has an aqua playground for children, which is always visited by French tourists with their children from close to straßburg. the park is also a good place to walk, jogging or just appreciate art sculpture. when they feel energetic after their meal, there is a very high wooden tower to burn the calorie that they accumulate in the restaurant. the restaurant has a great atmosphere in the free! most customers are French tourist. so speak of course almost all waiter and waiter French German. I'd say this is a great place to have drinks and desserts. apfelstrudel with ice was very delicious. they even serve decaffeinated coffee, which is not always available in European restaurants. about eating, about what we ordered, I'd say I wasn't impressed. I ordered carving and my friend had currywurst. neither the court was beautifully presented and the tellers were almost covered with the thick homemade french fries. they were full, but not very tasty. curry was better than the carving, which was very boring compared to carving I was often eating in German restaurants. I saw other sandwiches and sausages ordered. nothing really looked mouthwater. price I would say it would be very fair: for two big beers, a small beer, two main plates, apfelstrudel and coffee we paid 30 euro. as I said, this is a place to drink a beer or have desserts with good coffee, unless they have to come naturally into the park to let the children play in water and then have lunch."

"The restaurant has a good buffet, lots of choices. We can pick our favorite stuff and have it grilled. The issue is: extremely unfriendly service. There is a short-haired lady (doesn't wear uniform) that treats customers as if they were asking for a favor. Seems...she forgets that customers pay the food they get there! The waiters aren't the best as well. Can't be better. They have her as a "good" example. Never going back there again and strongly discourage others to go there. Not worth it. There are other restaurants where we get good service for the same price and quality. The play ground is good for young children"

"Superb Pizzas and Calzones, well made and delicious, Flammekuche bacon excellent! The server was impeccable, all smiles and very good advice! I recommend this place which has very wide opening hours which is very practical when you are on vacation and offbeat. The prices are completely normal. Very good value for money. The setting is warm and you have a small view of the pizza preparations, the cooks are friendly. Try the homemade garlic sauce and hot sauce which are fabulous! You can choose basic pizzas and add other ingredients available to you for an additional €1. Not far from the Kehl market square and right at the tram exit, which comes in 5 minutes from Strasbourg."

"Ordered via the Lieferando app. 2 donner pizzas and a mixed salad. The pizzas looked like they had been thrown from the freezer into the oven and you couldn't see or taste much of the sauce. They were quite dry and you had to drink a lot of water after every bite. The salad was okay so far. There could have been a little more sauce there too. The star goes to the delivery, which was quick. But I won't order anything anymore"

"pizza is not the same pizza. special tasty pizzas are available at enzo, the fun Italian with his wife. but not only the pizza is special good, also the other dishes on the extensive menu. but also red wine, from different cultivation areas, has a good price/performance ratio. Maybe we'll meet at the enzo for good food."
